The renowned judging line-up, comprising Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, alongside hosts Ant and Dec, returned for the two-hour spectacle. Adding to the episode's highlights, judge Alesha, 46, made time to praise host Ant, 49, for his stylish outfit choices that evening. During the episode, Ant took to the stage with his co-host Declan, 49, but their banter with the judges was momentarily interrupted when Alesha couldn't help but comment on Ant's stylish ensemble. Britain's Got Talent fans say same thing as dance duo hit back at Simon Cowell
Britain's Got Talent 2025 returned with the third live semi-final on Saturday night on ITV1, as eight more acts took to the stage to impress the judges, the audience and viewers at home The third live semi-final of Britain's Got Talent 2025 kicked off on Saturday night, with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly introducing the latest batch of hopefuls. But one duo in particular were forced to hit back at judge Simon Cowell's suggestion they didn't want to be there, as he asked them if they even wanted to win. Eight more acts were set to perform live to the audience, the judges and viewers at home, all battling it out for a place in the live final at the end of the month. It was Gymnast Albert Amores, danger act Bao, singing group Electric Umbrella, and fellow singers Jasmine Rice and Mickey Callisto taking to the stage this week, alongside musician Rumac and two dance acts, Harry & Lewis and Ping Pong Pang. But Harry & Lewis were left facing a number of the same comments from viewers who watched their second performance. Not only that, they were quick to call out Simon's suggestion they "didn't say much" that proved they wanted to win this year's series. As the episode got underway, judges Amanda Holden, Simon, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli were ready with their comments. They were divided over Harry and Lewis with some comments suggesting it wasn't as good this time around, and others applauding their improved routine. Simon rather awkwardly said to the men: "Do you actually want to win... you don't say much." Hosts Ant and Dec gave the pair a chance to reveal how they felt, with them confirming they did in fact want to be on the stage. Hitting back at Simon, Harry said: "Of course we wanna win it, we'd have never been here if we didn't wanna win it," adding it was a "dream" for them to make the live semi-finals. But Simon wasn't the only one with something to say about the pair, with fans at home all making the same observation about their routine. Viewers repeated that the duo reminded them of former contestants Twist and Pulse, joking they'd returned for another go in disguise. One viewer posted online: "Shein version of Twist & Pulse," as another said: "Close enough, welcome back twist and pulse." A third fan said: "The first act is yet another Twist and Pulse knock-off?" A fourth viewer commented: "Didn't twist & pulse do this exact act like 15 years ago." A fifth said: "They're like Twist and Pulse," as another said: "Temu twist and pulse." It comes as hopeful Jasmine opened up about the secret heartache she overcame to impress the show's judges during her audition. Speaking to The Mirror, the drag queen opera singer revealed just hours before her performance she discovered her beloved grandmother had passed away. She spoke of her shock at receiving a phone call from her dad to say she'd died suddenly in her native Korea. 'It totally threw me,' admitted Jasmine. It was out of the blue. She wasn't sick. She did have dementia. My family - including my grandma - have been such an amazing support system for me to continue singing. I basically thought of that and used that as fuel to continue and try to concentrate and do my best.' She went on to wow the BGT crowd with her rendition of Nessun dorma, with judge Bruno left in tears. 'How many people can say that they could dedicate a performance to their loved ones on the day that someone passed?' said Jasmine. 'It's an anthem for my grandmother as she enters the pearly gates of heaven. I thought 'She's hearing my voice as she flies away'.' With two more acts set to join the current final line-up on Saturday night, will it be another singer or dance group? So far through to the final are dance group The Blackouts, child guitarist Olly Pearson and two singers, Vinnie McKee and Stacey Leadbeatter. Vinnie and Stacey both earned the public vote, while Olly and The Blackouts were given a semi-final Golden Buzzer. With another buzzer up for grabs on Saturday, we wonder which semi-finalist will get it.

Tonight's show will feature performances from Albert Amores, Bao Cuong, Electric Umbrella, Harry and Lewis, Jasmine Rice, Mickey Callisto, Ping Pong Pang and RuMac. Article continues below Additionally, Sydnie Christmas, the 2024 winner of Britain's Got Talent, will return to the stage for an incredible performance, while the cast of Just For One Day will also be performing on stage. Why has there been a format change? This year, Britain's Got Talent has shifted to only airing on Saturday nights, marking a significant departure from previous years when the ITV talent show would broadcast on both Saturdays and Sundays. Furthermore, Britain's Got Talent will only be showcasing its live semi-finals weekly this year, as opposed to its usual week-long spectacle in May. Lily Wilson, ITV's commissioning editor for entertainment, expressed intentions behind the new scheduling strategy: "We want to hit that family audience. Starting in February means we can build excitement over a longer period while making the live semi-finals a much bigger event." The excitement kicked off with the first semi-final airing live from London's Eventim Apollo on Saturday, April 26, and anticipation is high for the grand live final set for broadcast on Saturday, May 31. After discussing with the judge panel, they assured viewers that Teddy's act would be revisited later in the programme. But as the show neared its end, Dec delivered the news that Teddy would not take the stage that evening, saying: "[Teddy] won't be performing tonight but we hope to see him later on in the series." Adding to the disappointment, Teddy was also missing from the previous weekend's semi-final. Britain's Got Talent airs tonight at 7pm on ITV and ITV X.

Mickey Callisto vows to 'bring the full Freddie experience' to BGT semi-final
EXCLUSIVE: The intergalactic-inspired singer is set to return to the Britain's Got Talent stage for the ITV show's third live semi-final this evening Mickey Callisto is set to dazzle once again as he returns to the Britain's Got Talent stage tonight for the third live semi-final - and he's promising nothing short of a 'passion-packed, flamboyant' performance that'll light up Saturday night TV. The intergalactic-inspired singer, whose Freddie Mercury tribute wowed judges and viewers earlier in the series, is aiming to book his place in the grand final and edge closer to the life-changing £250,000 prize and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance. 'Like always I am very excited just to be able to perform again for the nation!' Mickey tells us exclusively. 'The stage is where I am happiest and to entertain people is the only thing I was born to do.' With eight acts competing tonight - including Electric Umbrella, Bao, Jasmine Rice and gymnast Albert Amores - the stakes couldn't be higher. Only two acts will make it through to the final, either via the public vote or a Golden Buzzer from the judges. Mickey, who says his performance will be full of 'passion, flare, flamboyance but most of all fun,' is fully aware of the expectations, especially performing in front of Bruno Tonioli - who once counted Queen frontman Freddie Mercury as a friend. 'To perform for Bruno who actually knew Freddie is a great thing in itself. There is always pressure but I would like to think I was doing the Queen fans proud too and of course my fans,' he says. He adds, 'I hope Freddie would have loved it. He taught me to sing with passion and make people feel involved in the performance. I think he would have liked Simon for his honesty and also sense of humour.' His show-stopping audition not only earned him a standing ovation but also helped bring Queen back into the UK charts - something Mickey describes as 'like scoring a goal for your favourite football team.' 'Not many things make me shed a tear but I certainly did seeing that,' he said. 'To think I have contributed to their already phenomenal legacy… It was a very proud moment.' Off-stage, Mickey is a self-described space fanatic and football lover who writes and produces all of his own music. His alter ego was born out of a fascination with astronomy. 'Callisto is one of the 4 Galilean moons of Jupiter,' he explains. 'My star sign is Sagittarius which rules Jupiter in astrology - hence Mickey Callisto.' Fans can expect another glam look this evening - and yes, he's ready to compete with Amanda Holden in the style stakes. 'Of course it will be a glam outfit,' he laughs. 'You'll definitely have the passion of Freddie but you will be getting the full Mickey experience.' The Britain's Got Talent semi-finals continue tonight on ITV1, with guest appearances from musical Just For One Day and last year's winner Sydnie Christmas — who Mickey says is 'a great personality as well as being an amazing singer.' Could Mickey be next in line for the BGT crown? He's dreaming big: 'One is perform at Wembley Stadium and also the Stadium of Light… Whether I sing Queen or my own songs, I receive the same response.'
