Prince Andrew's ‘Affair' with Controversial Public Figure Leaks Years After His Divorce From Sarah Ferguson

More details are coming out about Prince Andrew's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Andrew Lownie's new book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, details Andrew's alleged relationship with Maxwell after his divorce from his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, in 1996. 'Andrew and Ghislaine were good friends, and over the years had been occasional lovers—and through her, the prince had come into the ambit of her boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein,' Lownie wrote. '[Andrew] appeared to be rediscovering his youth, hooked by the wealth and reach of new friends,' the book wrote. A friend was also quoted in the biography saying, ''He's spiralling out of control, he's even started dressing like a 25-year-old in jeans and blazer.'' Lownie credited the change in Andrew's demeanor to Maxwell. 'This lifestyle could be traced back to his closer relationship with Ghislaine,' Lownie wrote. 'She introduced him to many of the women with whom he had brief flings, but she also drew him further into Epstein's net.' Lownie also claimed that Andrew and Maxwell had an affair in the early 2000s, which involved hangouts with celebrities like Naomi Campbell. 'In 2000, he resumed his on-off affair with Ghislaine,' Lownie wrote. 'In May they were spotted holding hands at a restaurant in Manhattan before flying to Miami, with model Naomi Campbell and Parisian art dealer Alexia Wallaert, on the Lolita Express, as Epstein's plane was known for flying so many young girls.' In 2014, Virginia Giuffre alleged that she was sex trafficked to Andrew by convicted sex offenders, Epstein and Maxwell, when she was 17 years old. Andrew denied the allegations in an interview with BBC in 2019. I mean, we were friends because of other people, and I had a lot of opportunity to go to the United States, but I didn't have much time with him,' he said. 'I suppose I saw him once or twice a year, perhaps maybe a maximum of three times a year and quite often if I was in the United States and doing things and if he wasn't there, he would say: 'Well, why don't you come and use my houses?' So I said: 'That's very kind, thank you very much indeed.'' He continued, 'It was his girlfriend that was the key element in this. He was the, as it were, plus one, to some extent, in that aspect.' During the interview, Andrew confirmed that he once stayed at Maxwell's home in Belgravia, but didn't reveal whether they were romantically involved. 'I'm not in a position to know what she's trying to achieve, but I can tell you categorically I don't remember meeting her at all,' he said of Giuffre. 'I do not remember a photograph being taken and I've said consistently and frequently that we never had any sort of sexual contact whatever.' When asked if he had sex with any woman trafficked by Epstein, Andrew responded, 'No and without putting too fine a point on it, if you're a man, it is a positive act to have sex with somebody. You have to have to take some sort of positive action and so therefore if you try to forget it's very difficult to try and forget a positive action and I do not remember anything.' Epstein pleaded guilty and was convicted of procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute in 2008. He served 13 months in custody before being released on an extensive work release. He was arrested again in 2019 on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York. He died in his jail cell on August 10, 2019. A medical examiner ruled his death a suicide by hanging. Maxwell was arrested and charged in July 2020 with the crimes of enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underage girls. She was convicted of five out of the six counts against her, including one for sex trafficking of a minor, in December 2021. She's currently serving a 20-year sentence at a prison camp in Texas. Sarah Ferguson wanted to remarry Prince Andrew despite '12 affairs in first year'

During a tell-all interview to mark her 40th birthday in 1999, Sarah Ferguson admitted that she had thought about remarrying the Duke of York, much to the dismay of one senior royal They should have been enjoying the first flourishes of wedded bliss, but instead Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson spent the first months of their marriage living miles apart. ‌ After tying the knot at Westminster Abbey in 1986, cracks quickly began to show amid Andrew's time away from his wife to fulfil his Navy duties. The biography of the Duke and Duchess of York by historian Andrew Lownie alleges Fergie wanted to be 'The One' but enjoyed several affairs of her own with 'reckless abandon'. Lownie, who has written several acclaimed books on the R oyal Family, details claims the York's troubled marriage was riddled with infidelity. Within weeks of their lavish wedding in 1986, Fergie is said to have realised the marriage was a mistake as they had few mutual interests. ‌ And, with Andrew regularly away on Navy duty, it has been claimed that she embarked on numerous flings. It comes after reports of William and Kate Middleton's fears over move with kids after Royal Family 'bad blood'. ‌ Disgraced Andrew, who was forced to step down from royal duties over his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, allegedly told his new wife early on: 'I am a prince, then a naval officer, then a husband.' Lownie details claims from a former driver who worked for the couple that Andrew slept with more than 12 women before their first anniversary. The author also alleges Andrew has slept with over 1,000 women in his life. Lownie claims the list includes adult film stars, political figures, and nightclub staff and bartenders. One 20-year-old model alleged: 'He wanted me to engage in kinky sexual activity. He had no boundaries. He told me he had an open marriage arrangement with his wife. I felt like he used me for a few days, so he could live his wildest fantasies.' ‌ A series of alleged affairs on both Andrew and Fergie's parts would ultimately end their marriage in 1992, with their divorce finalised four years later. Despite their doomed romance, Fergie has long hinted at the fact that she would not discount the possibility of remarrying her ex-husband. However, one major royal stepped in to ensure the couple would not tie the knot once more. It comes as a new book claims Prince Andrew 'slept with more than dozen women in first year of marriage' According to the explosive new biography Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by historian Andrew Lownie, Fergie gave a tell-all interview in 1999 to mark her 40th birthday, speaking candidly to The Times about the ups and downs of both her relationship and motherhood. ‌ In the interview, Fergie maintained that the couple had 'got divorced because I had to go out to work, and Andrew and I believed that it wasn't right for me to be commercial while I was still in the Royal Family'. Despite this, she also said that she had not ruled out remarrying Prince Andrew in the future, and also hinted at the fact that she was open to trying for a third child. While Sarah may have been open to remarrying her ex-husband, the royal family were far less keen on the idea, according to claims from Lownie's biography, with one senior royal in particular stepping in to stop the reunion. ‌ According to the biography, Prince Philip was determined to stop Andrew and Fergie marrying for a second time as he claimed the Duchess of York was 'living in the land of Nod' and 'a squalid public relations exercise'. The book also claims that Charles, Princess Margaret, Prince Edward - who had not invited Sarah to his wedding in spite of her daughters being bridesmaids - were also against the idea of the couple remarrying. ‌ Elsewhere in the book, author Andrew Lownie shared claims that Prince Philip was not a fan of Sarah from the beginning, as he wrote that the late Duke of Edinburgh thought Fergie was an opportunist. A "well-connected" source of the author stated: "Fergie couldn't stop talking – and inappropriately. She was all high jinks, jolly hockey sticks and practical jokes. Andy loved it, no one else did. The Queen said to someone, 'Does that girl never stop talking!' The Duke of Edinburgh just thought she was a girl on the make." The book goes on to claim that in spite of Andrew and Fergie's differences and rollercoaster relationship, 'the two need each other'. Lownie quotes a friend as remarking: 'Andrew is nothing without a woman. He's sweet, but also rather clunky and gauche. He needs someone who can navigate his life for him.' Andrew is reported to now understand his 'initial neglect of his ex-wife', leading him to remain loyal to her, despite her behaviour. In turn, after Andrew's fall from grace over his alleged relationship with billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, Sarah has proved to be his most loyal supporter. A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of York was contacted for comment.

Prince Andrew 'hired a live-in chanting yogi' - and 'asked Charles to foot £32,000 bill'

A new royal book has sent shockwaves in royal circles as fresh allegations about Prince Andrew have surfaced. The biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, by Andrew Lownie, examines the disgraced Duke and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson in great detail, exploring their unconventional marriage, lavish lifestyles and eyebrow-raising royal demands. It's long been reported that King Charles has been feuding with his brother Andrew over his crumbling residence, Royal Lodge. The monarch is said to have been desperate to boot his discraced sibling out of the property for years, but the duke is still clinging on. And now Andrew's shocking alleged expenses while living at Royal Lodge, despite being axed from royal life, have been revealed by the Lownie. It comes as Prince William's alleged fury at Andrew after a "rude" comment about Kate has also been explored in the book. The author claims in the book that the late Queen covered many of Andrew's bills- but the gravy train dried up after she died and Charles took the throne. One such expense was a spiritual advisor who is claimed to have stayed with Andrew at Royal Lodge, "for up to a month at a time." Charles is alleged to have wanted Andrew to move out of Royal Lodge - that was once a home of the Queen Mother - due to concerns the monarch had about the "optics [which] did not look good for a non-working and discredited royal to live in such luxury for a weekly rent of £250". Andrew signed a lease for Royal Lodge with the Crown Estate back in 2002, and the 75-year-long contract remains his as long as he can afford to pay for the property's extensive running costs and upkeep. Legally, Charles can't force his younger brother out unless he becomes unable to hold up his end of the bargain, and reports have widely claimed that Andrew has zero intention of moving out of the home he shares with his ex-wife Sarah. While the Queen might have been happy to cover many of the costs of Andrew's lavish lifestyle, Charles was allegedly not so keen, the book claims, particularly when it came to the £32,000 annual bill for Andrew's yogi healer. "It was impossible for the King to evict him," the book claims. "The King did, however, refuse to pay an annual £32,000 bill, previously paid by the Queen, for Andrew's Indian healer, a yogi who treated him with chanting, massages, and holistic therapy and who often came to live at Royal Lodge for up to a month at a time. "Eventually in 2024 the King withdrew any financial support and insisted Andrew fund his own security." The book also claims that Charles has, over the years, not had entirely positive feelings for his younger brother. It claims that when Andrew and Edward were small boys, Charles doted upon the youngest two siblings, writing them a children's book called The Old Man of Lochnagar, with a valet called Stephen Barry saying, "Charles liked to play with his younger brothers when they were small and 'they adored him'." Later in life, it is claimed that at some point the dynamic between Charles and Andrew shifted, with Lownie alleging in one passage about Sarah Ferguson's affair with Steve Wyatt that Charles was "never a fan of his younger brother" and was not "sympathetic" to the public scandal. Buckingham Palace declined to comment. 'Entitled' by Andrew Lownie (William Collins, £22), to be published August 14.

Prince Andrew 'slept with more than dozen women in first year of marriage', book claims

The Duke and Duchess of York are alleged to have both had affairs with their troubled marriage riddled with infidelity and they shared few mutual interests, according to a new book Prince Andrew 'slept with more than a dozen women' in the first year of his marriage to Sarah Ferguson, an explosive book claims. ‌ The biography of the Duke and Duchess of York by historian Andrew Lownie alleges Fergie wanted to be 'The One' but enjoyed several affairs of her own with 'reckless abandon'. Lownie, who has written several acclaimed books on the royal family, details claims the York's troubled marriage was riddled with infidelity. Within weeks of their lavish wedding in 1986, Fergie is said to have realised the marriage was a mistake as they had few mutual interests. ‌ ‌ And, with Andrew regularly away on Navy duty, it has been claimed that she embarked on numerous flings. I felt like he used me for a few days, so he could live his wildest fantasies.' ‌ Lownie also claims that when Andrew represented the crown at the King of Thailand's Diamond Jubilee in 2006, he demanded more than 40 women be sent to his hotel room. The book, titled Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, quotes a witness who claims: 'Often, as soon as one left, another would arrive.' Some days more than 10 women are said to have gone to the Duke's hotel room. ‌ The allegations in the book have so far drawn no response from Buckingham Palace or the Yorks' representatives. Andrew and Sarah enjoyed a whirlwind romance in 1985 and were engaged a year later. Lownie writes that Andrew had been deeply unsettled when his American actress ex-girlfriend Koo Stark married another man. Fergie, meanwhile, 'despaired' of her racing driver boyfriend Paddy McNally's refusal to propose. While she had been known in royal circles for years, the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip instantly took a dislike to her, it is claimed. The book quotes the late Queen as saying: 'Does that girl never stop talking!' The Duke of Edinburgh 'thought she was a girl on the make'. Royal staff also quickly became tired of Fergie's 'relentless demands and her affairs', it is alleged. ‌ The book claims the couple would return from nights out and demand 'staff cook her and guest a meal, even though they had been up since 6.30am'. When she was invited to Highgrove, Charles's country estate, housekeeper Wendy Berry noticed how the 'rather frumpy Sloane' had turned into 'a very demanding young madam' who was 'obviously loving every moment of her newfound importance'. Lownie also claims that while Fergie was staying in the French ski resort of Meribel she insisted the maids call her ma'am and curtsey to her at all times. He writes she would tell them to spend hours cooking a meal before deciding to dine out instead. ‌ In 1989, she struck up a romance with American Steve Wyatt and later, when he returned to the US to make a name for himself, she got involved with his Texan pal John Bryan. The births of the Yorks' two daughters, Beatrice in 1988 and Eugenie the following March, did nothing to save their doomed relationship. The Duchess struggled with her weight during and after pregnancy and the book claims that, according to a friend, their sex life then ended. The friend said: 'Sarah is a sensual woman who needs to be loved and likes to show affection.' ‌ Fergie apparently ignored advice from the late Queen to sever contact with Wyatt after she invited him to a Buckingham Palace event in 1990 to mark the Queen Mother's 90th birthday, Princess Margaret's 60th, Princess Anne's 40th and Andrew's 30th. Soon after, she reportedly began the affair with businessman Bryan, who invited her to dinner at a swanky restaurant, less than a minute away from his flat in Chelsea, West London. Lownie claims they slept together that night, after which Bryan is said to have reflected: 'Here she was jumping into bed with me. I couldn't believe anyone behaved with such reckless abandon.' ‌ Photos of the pair frolicking on holiday made the front page of the Daily Mirror in 1992, but the book claims Andrew made his peace with his wife's affairs. The marriage did not survive however. The book quotes a palace insider claiming the Queen 'finally lost patience with the Duchess', and the public humiliation of her son. 'It all had to end,' the source added and Andrew was told to divorce the woman he still loved. The Queen, who had cleared many of Fergie's debts in the past, agreed to pay off her £300,000 overdraft, provide a home for her and the couple's daughters, and place £1.4million in trust for the girls. ‌ Fergie was stripped of her HRH title and barred from royal she and Andrew have remained close and both now live in Andrew's Royal Lodge mansion at Windsor. The book claims that in spite of their differences and rollercoaster relationship, 'the two need each other'. Lownie quotes a friend as remarking: 'Andrew is nothing without a woman. 'He's sweet, but also rather clunky and gauche. He needs someone who can navigate his life for him.' Andrew is reported to now understand his 'initial neglect of his ex-wife', leading him to remain loyal to her, despite her behaviour. In turn, after Andrew's fall from grace over Epstein, Sarah has proved to be his most loyal supporter. A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of York was contacted for comment.

Prince Andrew and Fergie's wild marriage secrets exposed from 'affairs to brutal revenge'

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's unusual marriage has been plunged back into the spotlight as a new explosive biography makes fresh allegations about the couple Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are something of a 'royal odd couple'. Having divorced in 1996 after ten years of marriage, they are now closer than ever and the two 'best friends' still reside together at Royal Lodge. And while it's been nearly 20 years since they officially ended their union in 1996, the spotlight is now firmly back on Andrew and Sarah's love story, thanks to a new biography on the disgraced Duke and his ex lover. Author and historian Andrew Lownie's biography,' Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,' seen by The Mirror, offers an in-depth look at the couple's unconventional relationship and dramatic marriage. Andrew and Sarah were introduced to each other in June 1985 by Princess Diana, and embarked on a whirlwind romance, getting engaged in February 1986 and marrying that July. In many ways the timing was perfect; Andrew's one-time actress girlfriend, Koo Stark, had married another man, while Sarah had given up on the idea of her live-in boyfriend, older racing driver Paddy McNally, ever proposing, Lownie's new book notes. But the royals had reservations, according to the author, who writes that 'jolly hockey sticks' Sarah just couldn't stop talking inappropriately - which reportedly raised eyebrows with the Queen and Prince Philip. Lownie writes: "Even Sarah's own family were not sure about the relationship. With characteristic candour, her father stated: 'She's either in love with Andrew or in love with the Royal Family and I think it's the latter.'" Nevertheless, the 'fairytale' wedding went ahead - but it didn't take long for cracks to emerge. The couple had few mutual interests and Andrew was rarely there. The well regarded historian notes in the book that as a naval officer, the Duke was either at sea or on a base far away from her - one year he spent only 42 days at home. Andrew reportedly told Sarah of his priorities: 'I am a prince, then a naval officer, then a husband.' The disgraced royal is also said to have embarked on multiple affairs, allegedlly sleeping with 'more than a dozen women' before his first wedding anniversary. Sarah, too, found affection elsewhere. There were instant sparks when she met American playboy Steve Wyatt in November 1989, and they embarked on an affair, the book claims. The following year, Sarah and Andrew welcomed their second child Eugenie, but their marriage was allegedly all but over. The author notes that Sarah remained close to Wyatt, and he was one of 800 guests invited to Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen Mother's 90th birthday, Princess Margaret's 60th, Princess Anne's 40th and Prince Andrew's 30th. According to the book, the Queen asked her whether Wyatt was 'quite the sort of person you should be encouraging, dear'. But Fergie seemingly ignored the warning and continued the affair – until he returned to the US, apparently in an attempt to make his fortune before he proposed to her. His friend John Bryan saw an opportunity to swoop in and invited her to dinner at La Tante Claire, Lownie states. According to the book: "They slept together that night, after which he reflected: 'Here she was jumping into bed with me. I couldn't believe that anyone behaved with such reckless abandon.'" Some months later Sarah was involved in a major public scandal when she was photographed in August 1992 on holiday with her 'financial advisor' John Bryan. Fergie was seen rubbing sun cream on the head of Bryan, kissing him, lying under him and letting him kiss or lick her toes. According to friends quoted in the book, Andrew accepted his wife's infidelities - perhaps because he was having affairs of his own. Sarah, however, was said to be jealous of any of Andrew's girlfriends. ‌ "She wanted to remain 'The One', with all the perks that brought, and girlfriends were invariably dispatched through a mixture of charm and ruthlessness," the biography claims. Elsewhere in the book, Sarah's spending comes under scrutiny, including claims that she had debts totaling hundreds of thousands of pounds paid off by the late Queen after living a life of "opulent excess". It's alleged she had to be bailed out on "several occasions", including one payment of £500,000 in April 1994 when the bank Coutts "demanded £500,000 within 14 days". ‌ After a string of failed business ventures, which often traded on her royal connections, including putting her name to a chain of retirement homes that went bankrupt, Sarah reportedly had debts in excess of £3.7 million by 1994. The book is the latest in a string of blows for Sarah and disgraced Andrew - who was stripped of his military titles and royal patronages by the Queen in 2022 in light of his association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. ‌ He is described as 'vulgar' and 'sex-obsessed' in the book, which claims that he has slept with over a thousand women. Those Andrew has shared a night with allegedly include adult film stars, politicians and bartenders, according to an investigative journalist quoted in the biography. Lownie claims that when Andrew represented the monarch at the King of Thailand's diamond jubilee celebrations in 2006, he demanded that more than 40 women were brought to his hotel room in Bangkok during his stay. ‌ And one 20-year-old model recalled how 'kinky' the Duke was after they allegedly met at a charity function before sleeping with him twice in a hotel. One excerpt reads: "'He wanted me to engage in kinky sexual activity,' she remembers. 'He had no boundaries. He told me he had an open marriage arrangement with his wife. After returning to London, I never heard from him again. I felt like he used me for a few days, so he could live his wildest fantasies.'" The book also claims that Palace staff were aware of Andrew's behaviour. "It seemed everyone was aware of his behaviour, but little was done about it," one insider is quoted as saying. Buckingham Palace and Sarah Ferguson's team declined to comment.
