Ana de Armas rocks a miniskirt with knee-high leather boots as she arrives in Paris

Ana de Armas looked luscious in leather as she arrived in Paris for a question and answer session with fans on Tuesday. The actress, 37, who is currently promoting her latest film Ballerina, looked as stylish as ever in an all-black outfit. She teamed a high-waisted miniskirt with a long sleeved top, leather trench coat, and knee-high boots. Ana accessorized her outfit with gold jewelry and topped it off with black, opaque tights. Ballerina is the latest instalment in the John Wick franchise, with Ana starring as the lead character Eve Macarro. The actress has been rumored to be dating Tom Cruise for months, but neither has publicly confirmed their relationship status. When quizzed about the scrutiny into her private life, Ana admitted during an interview with ELLE Spain, that she's grown more accustomed to dealing with it and accepted it came as part of the price of fame. She said: 'Over the years, you get more used to it. You learn to find your corners, your privacy, your way of doing things, your lifestyle... 'I'm one of those who think there should be external boundaries, a barrier that's quite visible to others and to oneself. 'Making it clear, "This is as far as I go with my work, my public persona, what's expected of me, and what I want to share with viewers and fans." That's wonderful, and I want to do it. 'You can't let the negative side of fame upset you, because then you won't enjoy the beautiful aspects, but it's essential to separate. We're all people and we need that privacy, consideration, and space.'

Ana de Armas Racks Up a Brutal Kill Count in JOHN WICK Spin-Off BALLERINA — GeekTyrant

Ana de Armas is stepping into the John Wick universe with serious firepower. In the upcoming Ballerina , the first big screen spin-off from the John Wick franchise, de Armas takes on the role of assassin Eve Macarro, and it sounds like she's making quite the entrance. In a recent interview with ComicBook, de Armas revealed just how high Eve's body count climbs: 'I know that we count, 106 only with the flamethrower. Only with flamethrower. So, I think it's a lot more than that,' said de Armas. 106 kills with a flamethrower. And that's just one weapon in Eve's arsenal. The flamethrower scene teased in the trailers shows Eve going full scorched earth on her enemies, and it's already shaping up to be a highlight of the film. One moment even shows her dousing an enemy wielding a flamethrower with a firehose. The movie looks awesomely savage. De Armas' rough estimate of the flamethrower kills alone makes it clear that Eve is a force of destruction, and she's being positioned to stand toe-to-toe with Keanu Reeves' legendary Baba Yaga. And while Ballerina is set between John Wick: Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 , we already know Eve won't be putting an end to John, especially now that Chapter 5 is officially in the works. The story follows Eve, an assassin trained under the same Ruska Roma lineage as John Wick, as she sets out on a mission of vengeance after her father's murder. Her path brings her into conflict with the very people who trained her—and eventually, with John himself. In one fiery line from the trailer, Eve warns: 'When you think of me, you should think of fire,' ansd I'm sure we will once we see her go crazy with a falmthrower in the movie. Ballerina hits theaters June 6. Prepare for fire.

John Wick star Keanu Reeves says he is 'excited for people to see' Ana de Armas in Ballerina

Keanu Reeves is "excited for people to see" 'Ballerina'. The 60-year-old actor makes a small appearance in the upcoming action film - which is a spin-off from his 'John Wick' franchise - and found it "really cool" to work on the project for a short amount of time as he praised leading star Ana de Armas in her role as former dancer-turned-assassin Eve Macarro. Speaking at a screening of the 'Wick is Pain' documentary in Santa Monica, he said: Anyway yeah I don't do stunts, I do action. "It was really cool to have a chance to put the suit on. I've worked with Ana a couple of times and she's a wonderful artist, and she committed to the action. "I just had like eight days on it, but it was fun to play the role again and I'm excited for people to see the film. It's in the spirit of 'John Wick' and has new characters and opens up some stuff, so hopefully people like it." The Hollywood star was thrilled to have the chance to reflect on his decade at the helm of the 'John Wick' movies -which charts a legendary hitman after he comes out of retirement - He said: "It's special thing to have something you love chronicled in such a way [with the documentary]. It's kind of like a picture book. I mean it's like 10 years of our lives and it changed our lives for the better, personally and creatively.', Meanwhile, Keanu will reprise his role as John Wick for a fifth film following the release of 'Ballerina'. Lionsgate announced the move at CinemaCon, and the franchise is also expanding with an animated prequel film and a standalone feature focused on Donnie Yen's character, Caine. The projects complement 'Ballerina' which is set for release on 6 June. Ana, 35, attended the annual convention for cinema owners in Las Vegas, where she introduced an extended clip from 'Ballerina'. The footage featured her character, Eve Macarro – a dancer training to become an assassin – engaged in a fight sequence in an abandoned bar, in which she shoots one adversary and smashes a plate against another. She said at the Colosseum stage at Caesars Palace about the role: 'For 'Bond', I only had three weeks of training. ''Ballerina' was a whole other level. This is by far the most physical and challenging thing I've ever done.'

Tired of too many ads? go ad free now In Ballerina, de Armas stars as Eve Macarro, a deadly assassin trained by the Ruska Roma and driven by vengeance after the murder of her father. In one pivotal scene, she unleashes a flamethrower on a group of henchmen—an action sequence director confirmed was '90 percent practical,' with de Armas performing the majority of the stunt work herself. 'I remember the first day the stunt team was practising with the fire, and they told me to go do it before the shoot, and I said, 'No, no, no, I'll be fine,'' de Armas recalled. But when she finally rehearsed the moment, the emotional toll surprised her. 'They got the main fire guy that gets burned, and he's all covered in this sticky grease or whatever they put for protection, and they're like, 'Okay, go ahead. Just burn him.' And I did, and I started crying.' Describing the moment as 'really emotional,' she added, 'I've never seen anyone burning, even though it's fake.' Director Wiseman, who had never handled a flamethrower before either, shared her shock. 'It was just horrifying, actually lighting somebody on fire with a flamethrower, even though they're acting,' he said. 'And it was a long sequence. It was very, very brutal.' After the emotional rehearsal, de Armas was able to film the final sequence with confidence. 'Then I was fine,' she said. 'Then I burned like a hundred people. I'm glad I practised the day before, and I cried the day before.' Ballerina is set between John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4, and follows Eve's high-octane journey of revenge in the signature gritty, stunt-heavy style of the John Wick universe. The film also stars and Scarlet Rose Stallone , and is slated for release later this year. The film is slated for a June 6 theatrical release in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
