Ferrari Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has announced his collaboration with luxury fashion house Dior - his second project with Christian Dior's haute couture items. The seven-time world champion revealed that he worked with the brand's fashion designers to launch a lifestyle capsule, prompting fans to highlight the 'designer era' in his life. The Briton is known for his unique sense of fashion, often appearing on Grand Prix weekends with outfits that spark conversations. He shared pictures on Instagram, revealing some behind-the-scenes shots and images of the outfits he helped design. Hamilton appreciated the designers and artists who worked with him on the lifestyle capsule, adding that he was taking back with him some key learnings from the collaboration. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team I had the pleasure of working with — your passion, creativity, and dedication made this journey unforgettable. "To everyone at the house of Dior, thank you for your patience, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the process. I truly cherish the time we spent designing these pieces together. I've learned so much from each of you and will always be grateful. It's always a privilege to be in a room full of such inspiring artists and thinkers ~" Hamilton's interest in fashion and acting is no hidden secret. The 40-year-old driver ensures he makes time for these interests despite the hectic 24-race F1 schedule. The current ground effect era in the sport might not have served Hamilton well, but fans have pointed out his "designer era" through his partnership with Dior. Hamilton comes off the back of his best 2025 finish with Ferrari at his home race in Silverstone, securing P4. Despite the ongoing challenges with his Ferrari SF-25, Hamilton's attitude to keep pushing could soon help him achieve his first podium finish this season, and potentially, even a Grand Prix victory. Ferrari reportedly conducted a filming day session on Wednesday with Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, where it tested a new rear suspension that is likely the solution to the SF-25's ride height problems. But it remains to be seen if the team noticed a significant improvement in the car's performance during the test, and if the new suspension will be on the car for the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix.

Gareth Bale's €46 million dream: Former Tottenham, Real Madrid star bids to buy hometown club

Emma Rhys-Jones and Gareth Bale attend the European Premiere of F1 ® The Movie at Cineworld, Leicester Square (Image byfor Warner Bros. Pictures) Former Wales and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is reportedly preparing a dramatic return to football, but not on the pitch, raher, in the boardroom. The 35-year-old, who retired in 2023, is leading a consortium bidding to purchase Cardiff City, the club based in his hometown. Bale has submitted an offer exceeding €46 million to acquire the Welsh side, a move that would see him pay less than half of the €99 million Real Madrid shelled out for his services back in 2013. The former Galáctico said, 'We're interested in Cardiff. It's my hometown club, where I grew up, and my uncle (Chris Pike) played for them,' as quoted by MARCA . Cardiff City, recently relegated to League One, is currently owned by Malaysian businessman Vincent Tan, who is reportedly open to selling. The club has already rejected an undisclosed initial offer from Bale's consortium, but talks are expected to continue. Bombay Sport Exchange Episode 1: Interview with Sanjog Gupta, CEO (Sports) at JioStar Earlier reports stated that Bale's group had explored acquiring other clubs, including a failed attempt to buy Plymouth Argyle. However, his interest in Cardiff appears deeply personal and long-term. 'Being part of an ownership group would be a dream come true,' Bale said. 'I'd love to be part of Cardiff's growth and take it to the Premier League, where it deserves to be.' Poll Do you think Gareth Bale will successfully purchase Cardiff City? Yes, definitely! No, I don't think so. If successful, Bale would join a growing list of footballers turning owners, following the likes of David Beckham and Gerard Piqué, as he aims to drive Cardiff's resurgence from League One back to the top flight. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told NBC News that a break-in took place at a residence in the Los Feliz neighborhood around 10:30 pm (0530 GMT), without officially confirming who owned the home. Police sources told NBC News and the Los Angeles Times that three suspects climbed over a front fence and broke in through the home's front window before ransacking the location and fleeing with some belongings. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. After a run of previews, the early results for "F1" at the box office are in and show some promise. The motorsport movie netted $10 million at the box office during early screenings. The movie opened on Friday, June 27, though certain theaters were holding early showings ahead of the official release. The projected box office is $115 million for the opening weekend, recouping more than half of the film's reported production cost. The movie reportedly cost a total of about $200 million to produce - without accounting for the marketing budget. Photo byJoseph Kosinski directed the film, which was produced by Apple Studios and features notable input from seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton was a producer on the film, giving his feedback on the accuracy of the movie to the sport itself. The Ferrari driver also added to the story of the movie, according to Kosinski. "Lewis also contributed to the story. I mean, there's a part in the film where Sonny Hayes talks about why he races, and almost the spiritual side of it," the director said. "And that also was inspired by a conversation with Lewis. His involvement has been amazing. We couldn't make the film without him." Kosinski also worked on "Top Gun: Maverick," making him the ideal leader of an action film featuring some of the fastest cars on the planet. Legendary composer Hans Zimmer worked on the music for the film. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris are the lead actors in the film, portraying two teammates who battle it out on the track. Ahead of the movie, both Pitt and Idris went through exhaustive training for the film, driving several race cars at different tracks. "F1" features real drivers and teams appearing and making cameos, adding to the film's realism and connecting the atmosphere to what happened in the 2023 season. The movie sees retired driver Sonny Hayes return to the paddock after his former teammate and friend, Ruben, asks him to come back. The fictional team APXGP is on the verge of being sold and needs a sharp upturn in form. Hayes, played by Pitt, needs to mentor the young hotshot Joshua Pierce (Idris) as the pair takes on a mentor-mentee relationship. The movie is set to be a summer blockbuster, pacing to beat out many of the summer movies, though it will likely fall short of Marvel's "Fantastic Four" and "Superman."
