Hilltop Hoods Announce 2026 All-Ages Arena Tour

Hilltop Hoods have detailed their first headlining Australian tour in three-and-a-half years, with the Never Going Home tour announced for February 2026. The tour comes in support of the trio's upcoming ninth studio album Fall From The Light, which is set for release next month on Friday, August 1st. The full list of tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below. 'Over the last few years, we've stepped back from touring to complete our album,' said co-frontman Matthew Lambert – AKA Suffa MC. 'Now that it's done, we can't wait to get back on the road. In a lot of ways, we're more energised than ever and have been putting together a show that we're really proud of and excited to share.' The Hoods last toured Australia in September 2022, in support of their then-recent single 'Show Business' – which featured 2000s one-hit-wonder Eamon on vocals. Hilltop Hoods – 'Don't Happy, Be Worry' The first indication of a new studio album from the multi-platinum Adelaide group came in 2023, with the release of the new single 'Laced Up'. Minimal activity followed the release of the single, however, save for an appearance at that year's Yours & Owls and Now & Forever fesitvals. In September 2024, the Hoods were announced on the line-up for Bluesfest's final/not-final festival in April 2025. Two months before that appearance, a new single entitled 'The Gift' was released. Fall From The Light is also set to feature appearances from frequent collaborator Nyassa, as well as New Zealand band Six60 on the tour's titular track 'Never Going Home'. The song is set to be released as the album's fourth single on Friday, with a new music premiering at 8am AEST that morning. The album can be both pre-saved digitally and pre-ordered physically by clicking here. Hilltop Hoods Never Coming Home 2026 Tour All shows are licensed all-ages. Don Toliver & Sheck Wes Fall From the Light, arriving Aug. 1 via Island Records/UMA, marks the ARIA-winning trio's first album in six years following 2019's The Great Expanse, which debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and broke records as the band's sixth consecutive chart-topper. The new LP promises collaborations with SIX60, Nyassa and Marlon, and includes recent singles 'The Gift,' 'Don't Happy, Be Worry,' and 'Laced Up.' Their latest release, 'Never Coming Home,' drops this week. 'This album has been an exercise in patience,' Suffa (Matt Lambert) said in a statement. 'Six years is a long time between albums, but we've never been so thorough, so pedantic with an album before. The result is something carefully crafted with extreme attention to detail.' Pressure (Daniel Smith) added, 'We put more years into it than any other album because we wanted it to be our best work to date. Putting it out after so long feels monumental and exciting.' The Never Coming Home tour marks Hilltop Hoods' first Australian headline trek since 2022's Show Business Tour, which followed a global run and pandemic-era singles like 'I'm Good?' that connected deeply with fans. Formed in Adelaide in 1994, Suffa, Pressure, and DJ Debris (Barry Francis) have built a career as one of Australia's most celebrated groups, with six ARIA No. 1 albums, 10 ARIA Awards, and over one million records sold in their homeland. Internationally, the group's influence has grown steadily, with U.S. tours in 2014 and 2019, and plans to bring Never Coming Home to European and U.K. audiences later this year. Hilltop Hoods made history in 2006 as the first Australian hip-hop act to top the ARIA Albums Chart with The Hard Road. Hilltop Hoods announce huge 2026 comeback tour of Australia

Don't miss out on the headlines from Music. Followed categories will be added to My News. Australian hip hop heroes Hilltop Hoods will make their long-awaited return to the country's biggest stages in February and March next year. The Never Coming Home tour is the latest in a flurry of activity from the award-winning group who next month release Fall From The Light, the first new studio record in six years. The hip hop trailblazers were deluged with 'what about Australia?' comments on social media channels last week from loyal fans when they revealed UK and European tour dates for August ahead of a hometown run. 'Oh, we have heard (all) about it in the comments section which is fine, I understand it – I feel the same with bands that I like,' Suffa said about the protests from local fans. 'It's just the way that it worked out with the physics, the Northern Hemisphere summer, the rotation around the sun and the Gregorian calendar; it's nothing personal.' Suffa, Pressure and DJ Debris will kick off the tour at the MyState Bank Arena in Hobart on February 14 and then head to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on February 21, Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on February 28, Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on March 7, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 14 and RAC Arena, Perth on March 21. The hip hop group is one of the biggest Aussie artists of all time, with more than 1.3 billion streams on Spotify alone and one million records sold over the past two decades. They hold the record for the most tickets sold by an Australian artist at Qudos Bank Arena, with more than 15,000 fans rocking the foundations of the venue during the Great Expanse tour in 2019. Suffa said 'a lot happened' to force the long break between albums and tours, although they have kept the fan fires burning with a succession of singles including So Good?, Show Business and Laced Up. 'I had two young children and a cavoodle, so I had my hands full. And Dan had a young lass as well just before lockdowns. We had young families, Covid happened and a bunch of false starts,' Suffa said. 'It sucked at the time, but I think like as far as the album goes, it was good for it in the long run because we shed a lot of the fat.' Suffa (left) showed off his hair for the first time ever in the Don't Happy, Be Worry video. Picture: Supplied. Hoods fans were recently shocked by the group's video for their recent single Don't Happy, Be Worry – because it featured Suffa with hair for the first time in his career. And no, he hasn't had a transplant – he just always hid under a cap. 'That's my real head! That's the only film clip I've ever done without a hat and the amount of people that have said to me, 'I thought you were bald!' I just wear a hat which means I constantly have hat hair,' Suffa said. The Hoods will release the new single Never Coming Home, featuring SIX60, on Friday and tickets for the tour go on sale on July 17 from 10am via Originally published as Hip hop heroes Hilltop Hoods announce comeback to Australian arenas in February and March

Dubbed Fall From The Light, the rap trio's ninth studio LP is due to reach our ears on Friday, 1st August. The forthcoming record is packing 12 tracks, including 2025 lead single 'The Gift' ft. Marlon, recent fan-fave 'Don't Happy, Be Worry' and the Gold-certified 'Laced Up'. It was produced by the Hoods' long-time collaborator One Above (also Illy, Allday, KLP) with additional prod by Sesta and the group's own Suffa, and features bonus collabs from New Zealand group SIX60 and Aussie songstress Nyassa. We're told the ambitious LP was recorded across Adelaide, Darwin, Melbourne and New Zealand over six years, as the group prioritised quality over efficiency. Australian hip hop group Hilltop Hoods make a huge comeback as they announce first new album in six years

Hilltop Hoods are making a huge comeback. The legendary Australian hip hop group have announced they will be releasing their first new album in six years. The Aussie rap stars shared the exciting news to social media on Wednesday, revealing Fall From The Light will be released on August 1. 'This album has been an exercise in patience. Six years is a long time between albums, but there's a good reason for that,' they wrote. They added the long wait allowed the group to produce some of the best work of their career. 'There was a lot happening, in the world and in our lives. But it turns out (from my perspective anyway), that time was the album's strength, not weakness,' they said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'We've never been so thorough, so pedantic with an album before. The result is something that's been carefully crafted with an extreme attention to detail. 'It's an album we're really proud of, and a body of music we can't wait to share with everyone.' Many of their 198,000 followers took to the comment section to express their excitement. 'That's awesome. Hopefully a tour announcement soon,' one person wrote. 'This is so cool!!! Cannot wait boys!' a second added. Hilltop Hoods have release nine studio albums since forming in Adelaide in 1994. In 2019, the band revealed they simply couldn't afford to take their show overseas despite their massive success Down Under. Member Matt Lambert told The Daily Telegraph of their elaborate Australian stage age: 'What we put on here is so big now.' 'If we took the big show overseas we would have to sell all of our houses to be able to afford it,' he added. Lambert, also known as MC Suffa, added that the group's mainstream fame had taken them from outsiders to contenders. 'We definitely don't feel as much of an outsider as we used to,' he told the paper of being a rare Aussie hip hop act. 'We used to feel almost like some kind of novelty.' The group is made up of founding members MC Suffa (Lambert) and MC Pressure (Daniel Smith) and is backed up by DJ Debris (Barry Francis). Their prior studio album, 2014's Walking Under Stars, hit number one in Australia and was certified double platinum. In February 2019, the group supported Eminem on his Australian and New Zealand concert tour. The hip-hop group has won eight ARIA Awards and are regarded as Australia's most successful homegrown hip hop act.
