Stones, from Stockton-on-Tees, Co Durham, posted images from his cell on Facebook showing racy snaps of his prison officer lover pinned to the walls. And his mother now insists the couple are still together - and will rekindle their relationship when the pair are eventually released from jail. Donna March, 47, said: "They are still together. They've been together for two and a half years. All of his belongings are at her house for when he gets out of jail. "She was around here all the time with my girls. She takes them out for day trips, she takes them up to her place at weekends." Ms March, of Billingham, Co Durham, added: "Honest to God, she's like another daughter to me. She's amazing." Farr Varney joined the Prison Service in 2022 and became besotted with Stones while he was on remand at the category-C prison near Doncaster. Suspicions were raised after she was spotted with him on a wing at Lindholme and she was arrested in January 2023. An investigation revealed a slew of love letters between the pair, including in the inmate's cell and in Farr Varney's bedroom. CCTV footage also showed the pair entering a cupboard. Interviewed by police, Farr Varney admitted she had "proper fallen in love" with him and admitted she had "f****ed her life up". Stones was handed an extra six weeks' jail time after being caught with an illicit mobile phone to stay in touch with the shamed guard. Prison officer smuggled Calpol syringe into jail to artificially inseminate herself with 'dangerous' lag's sperm Farr Varney, of Stainforth, South Yorks, was this week sentenced to ten months in prison after admitting to misconduct in public office. Stones was jailed at Teesside Crown Court in April 2023, after pleading guilty to two counts of possessing a Class A drug. One charge was for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, while the other was for simple possession. He was previously jailed aged 20 after being caught selling heroin. Police caught him attempting to flush wraps of heroin down the toilet. After being bailed, officers caught him with another 12 wraps the following day. Stones told detectives he was selling the wares to pay back a drug debt. 'CLEAR MESSAGE' Farr Varney had received anti-corruption training just months before the affair began. Following her arrest, she resigned from her role - but the relationship continued despite Stones being moved to Wealstun Prison, near Wetherby in West Yorkshire. Farr Varney appeared on This Morning last year to discuss facing huge bills after buying braces from an online dental firm only for it to fold partway through her treatment. Detective Constable Scott Jarvis, of South Yorkshire Police's Prison Anti-Corruption Unit, said her sentencing should send a "clear message" to warders considering embarking on affairs. A record number of female prison guards have been fired for affairs with male inmates - with 29 given the sack in the past three years. That compares to just nine women who lost their jobs for the same offence between 2017 and 2019. In January, former Wandsworth prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu was jailed for 15 months after a film of her having sex with an inmate was shared online. Det Con Jarvis said: "We take any reports of improper relationships between prison staff and inmates incredibly seriously and conduct thorough investigations to ensure those who are guilty of these offences are brought to justice. "These types of relationships are thankfully rare, but when they do happen, they threaten to undermine the reputation of the prison service and other hard-working prison officers who abide by the rules and regulations attached to the job. Ex-prison guard 'wants to rekindle relationship' that saw her jailed, mum claims

Morgan Farr Varney would have sex with prisoner Jordan Stones while she was supposed to be guarding him at a Yorkshire jail. The 24-year-old guard was working at HMP Lindholme near Doncaster when she had the affair, which lasted 10 months. It is now alleged that she wishes to continue her relationship with Stones, 30, who is serving over five years for dealing cocaine. The dealer also seems keen on the pair being reunited, after posting photos on his Facebook page. The images show pictures of her on the walls in his cell. 'They are still together,' Farr Varney's mother Donna March, 47, told the Mail. 'They've been together for two and a half years. All of his belongings are at her house for when he gets out of jail.' Farr Varney became briefly known to viewers of This Morning last year when she spoke of her problems with huge bills after she bought braces from an online dental firm that later folded. Ms March said she and Farr Varney have become close and she would visit her and take her daughters out for day trips. She added that her son's lover was like 'another daughter'. Farr Varney, who became a guard in 2022, was arrested in January 2023 after suspicions were sparked when she was spotted with him on one of the wings at Lindholme. The pair, who exchanged love letters, were seen in CCTV entering a cupboard. The relationship was poorly hidden, with Farr Varney posting messages on her the Facebook pages of her lover's siblings. In a police interview, Farr Varney said he had 'f****d her life up' after she had also 'proper fallen in love'. Her sordid relationship earned her 10 months in jail this week after she admitted misconduct in a public office. Stones, meanwhile, is behind bars after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine. Another charge was for possession, adding to the lags criminal record that includes him being jailed aged 20 for selling heroin. Following a number of cases that have involved prison officers having relationship with inmates in recent years - this includes ex-Wandsworth prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu who was filmed having sex with an inmate - a senior cop said Farr Varney's sentencing was a warning to others. After suspicions were raised by colleagues, CCTV footage uncovered during a prison anti-corruption investigation showed Farr Varney entering a cupboard with an inmate at the prison, and loitering with him on a wing. A search of the inmate's cell then led discovery of a tranche of love letters, with more found during a search of Farr Varney's bedroom. Farr Varney - who appeared on ITV's This Morning last year to complain of her issues with an online dentistry service - was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in January 2023. In an interview, told officers she "proper fell in love" with the inmate, and said she was worried that she had "f****d" her life up. After being released on bail, Farr Varney quite her job at the prison, with the inmate transferred to another prison. But their relationship continued, and police officers later found more photographs of Farr Varney on the inmate following his move to HMP Wealstun in West Yorkshire. Farr Varney pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office at Sheffield Crown Court on April 16 last year, and was remanded in custody. On Friday, she was sentenced to 10 months in prison. South Yorkshire Police's Detective Constable Scott Jarvis, who is part of the force's Prison Anti-Corruption Unit and was the officer in charge of the case, said: "We take any reports of improper relationships between prison staff and inmates incredibly seriously and conduct thorough investigations to ensure those who are guilty of these offences are brought to justice. "Staff at HMPPS Counter Corruption Unit supported us throughout our investigation and I want to thank them for their cooperation. "I hope this sentencing sends out a clear message to any prison officers thinking of committing similar offences that if you engage in this type of criminality, you will be investigated by police and you will be brought to justice." Recent data meanwhile showed that a record number of female prison guards have been dismissed for having affairs with male inmates. A total of 29 female officers were sacked for the offences in the last three years, a huge rise on the nine recorded between 2017 and 2019. In January, a former prison officer who was filmed having sex with an inmate was sentenced to 15 months in jail. Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, was working at HMP Wandsworth when she entered the cell of a prisoner and had sex with him in June 2024. The encounter, filmed by another inmate, later went viral on social media, and she was arrested by the Metropolitan Police a few days at Heathrow Airport during an attempt to flee to Spain.

After being released on bail, she resigned from her role at Lindholme, with the inmate transferred to another prison. However, their relationship continued, with officers recovering more photographs of Farr Varney from the inmate at HMP Wealstun, W Yorks.
