PM Inaugurates "With Gaza, Our Holidays Victories" Art Exhibition
Sana'a (Saba) – Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, accompanied by Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, today inaugurated the art exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, represented by the Fine Arts Sector. Al-Rahwi and Al-Yafei toured the exhibition halls, which is being held in cooperation with the House of Creative Arts Forum, titled "With Gaza, Our Holidays Are Victories," the exhibition will continue until May 28. 'Between Things' Exhibition Opens at Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center
Nada Mustafa- Basant Ahmed Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, and supervised by Dr. Waleed Qannoush, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, the Fine Arts Sector cordially invited the public to attend the opening of the exhibition titled 'Between Things', by artist Haidy Mohamed. The exhibition is set to be inaugurated on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center, located in El Tahrir, next to the Cairo Sports Club (Gezira). The opening is held in the 'Iberes' Hall of the cultural center. The exhibition will run until May 18, 2025, and welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, except Fridays. "On Paper 2": Ali Hassan's Exhibition Opens at Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center
Nada Mustafa - Basant Ahmed The Fine Arts Sector, under the leadership of Walid Qannoush and under the patronage of Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Hene, is inaugurating an art exhibition by artist Ali Hassan titled "On Paper 2". The event will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the "Nahdet Misr Hall" in the Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center. The exhibition will run until May 18, 2025. Mahmoud Khalil Museum It is worth noting that the Mahmoud Khalil and His Wife Museum was originally built in 1920 as a residence for the renowned Egyptian politician Mahmoud Khalil. The structure was designed in the French architectural style and occupies a total area of 8,450 square meters, with a building footprint of 538.25 square meters and surrounding open space measuring 7,911.75 square meters. The museum consists of four floors. Mahmoud Khalil Museum is considered one of Egypt's most significant art museums, housing masterpieces of global art in painting, sculpture, and ceramics. With a total built area of 538.75 square meters and a garden of approximately 2,400 square meters, the museum enjoys a prime location overlooking the Nile River to the east and Giza Street to the west. The 'Lens of Islamic Art' Exhibition at Ahmed Shawky Museum
The 'Lens of Islamic Art' exhibition opens on 27th February and runs until 29th March 2025 at the Karma Ibn Hani Cultural Centre, Ahmed Shawky Museum. Organised by the Fine Arts Sector under Dr Walid Qannoush, the exhibition will showcase the winning entries from this year's 'Lens of Islamic Art' photography competition. A collaboration between Adasa Photography Club and Egypt's Ministry of Culture, the competition encourages photographers to capture the beauty and intricacies of Islamic art in Egypt and beyond. Visitors can explore the exhibition daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, except Fridays and Mondays, at the museum's premises on Ahmed Shawky Street, Giza.
