Jess Pryles serves up massive tomahawk steaks and Cheeto coated corn on the barbecue

Jess Pryles is widely known for her expertise in barbeque, meat and smoking techniques. She now is based in Texas but is here for Vivid. She has also hosted Aussie Barbecue Heroes in 2015. Jess will be showing how to cook tomahawk steak and easy homemade flamin' hot corn. Recipe below: TOMAHAWK STEAK 1 beef tomahawk steak 2-3 tablespoons Hardcore Carnivore Black rub (or 2 tsp salt) 1 tablespoon oil Prepare the steak by removing from fridge 1 hour before cooking. Drizzle with oil, then season well on all sides with seasoning (or salt). Prepare a barbie for high heat cooking, and start by searing the tomahawk over high flame, turning every 2 minutes until a crust is formed. Leave the burner on, but move the steak across to a side without heat, and close the lid. Cook until it reads 58c on a meat thermometer. Rest for 10 mins under foil, then slice and serve. GRILLED 'FLAMIN HOT' STREET CORN Servings 4 Prep time 7 minutes Cook time 15 minutes Ingredients 4 corn on the cob Spray oil 3/4 cup mayonnaise 2 cups 'Flamin' Hot' Cheetos snacks Fresh lime wedges. Method Light a grill for medium heat cooking Spray the corn lightly with oil, then place onto the grill to cook for 10-15 minutes until charred and softened. Turn the ears during cooking to ensure that all sides are evenly cooked. Place the Cheetos into a food processor and pulse until a coarse crumb has formed. You can also do this by placing them into a resealable bag and crushing them with a rolling pin or the bottom of a saucepan. Pour the crumbs out onto a sheet pan or large shallow container. Slather the grilled corn with a generous amount of the mayonnaise, then roll through the Cheeto crumbs to coat completely. Serve with fresh lime wedges.

Kim Kardashian's "The Fifth Wheel" Find Its Director in Eva Longoria

Yara Sameh The Netflix pic "The Fifth Wheel", starring Kim Kardashian, is adding even more star power by tapping Eva Longoria to direct and Gloria Sanchez coming as producers of the comedy. The movie is scripted by longtime Saturday Night Live writer Paula Pell and Janine Brito (One Day at a Time). Both Kardashian and Pell are producing along with Jessica Elbaum and Will Ferrell through their Gloria Sanchez banner as well as Cris Abrego and Longoria's Hyphenate Media Group. While plot details are being kept under wraps, sources say Kardashian will play the eponymous 'fifth wheel' alongside a female ensemble cast. The project has been a priority ever since the streamer landed the package over Thanksgiving weekend in 2023 following a competitive auction. To no one's surprise, given Pell's track record, the script has been described as one of the funnier in some time by a number of buyers who were involved in the auction. That stamp of approval was legitimatized with Gloria Sanchez boarding the project. The production company has built a resume of not only popular hit comedies like "Booksmart" and "Theater Camp" but also films led by strong female talent both in front and behind the camera. Once Sanchez jumped in, the next step was finding a director and it soon became important to all parties to find a female director to help tell the story. After several meetings, execs and producers landed on Longoria as the right fit following her major studio directing debut, "Flamin' Hot". The Searchlight biopic blew away the town after it premiered at SXSW 2023, where it won the audience award and earned praise specifically pointed at Longoria for her directing skills. While that film leaned more on the dramatic end, "Flamin' Hot" showcased plenty of laughs and heart and became a big selling point for this pic. As for Kardashian, this isn't her only acting job in the coming months, she will be seen in Hulu series " All's Fair ," which dropped to a big reaction last week. The "The Fifth Wheel" role comes after she starred in the most recent season of FX's "American Horror Story", in which she played a publicist named Siobhan who works for Emma Roberts' actress character Anna Victoria Alcott. Her role as a publicist earned her strong notices. In addition to an appearance as herself in 2018's "Ocean's Eight", Kardashian also lent her voice to the character Delores in the two recent animated PAW Patrol movies. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies

Eva Longoria Goes Strapless in Willy Chavarria Dress for CNN's ‘Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain' New York City Screening

Eva Longoria joined a string of special guests for the CNN special screening of her forthcoming series 'Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain' on Monday in New York City. The series follows the 'Flamin' Hot' filmmaker across Spain as she discovers and connects with the cuisine, culture and people of the country. For the special red carpet occasion, Longoria opted for a contemporary design courtesy of Willy Chavarria. The 'Desperate Housewives' alum styled a strapless midi dress in a shade of dark charcoal with buttons running down the front placket of the garment. Longoria complemented the dress with a pair of white, pointed toe pumps. As for accessories, Longoria went minimal, save for a pair of statement earrings. When it came to her glam, Longoria's makeup featured bold brows, a smokey eye and a glossy lip courtesy of Carolina Gonzalez. The actress, filmmaker and producer's hair was styled in a sleek, straight style with a side part by stylist Ricardo Rojas. Longoria's look was curated by stylist Maeve Reilly. Over the course of the last few years, designer Willy Chavarria has made a name for himself as a bold new voice in fashion. The Mexican American designer curates his eponymous label around empowerment, particularly focusing on identity and fashion as an extension of personhood. 'Growing up mixed race in a Mexican American environment, mostly Mexicans, it was immigrants who were living in the town that I grew up in, and given the fact that my parents had met after desegregation, I was always very aware of the politics behind race. So when I started my own label — and just living my life — I felt it was very important to share that awareness with others, and I've incorporated the need for equality and the need for recognition of Latino empowerment in all my work,' Chavarria told WWD in September 2024. The CNN series 'Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain' follows Longoria through the country and into cities like Madrid and Barcelona as she mingles with locals, tries new food and connects with the culture. 'Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain' premieres on CNN on Sunday.
