Pamela Anderson finally gives her verdict on Meghan Markle 'copying' her cooking show

Pamela Anderson has finally spoken out on claims Meghan Markle 'ripped off' her cooking programme - that was released just before Meghan's own Netlix show Pamela Anderson has revealed what she really thinks of Meghan Markle's Netflix show - after it drew comparisons with her own cooking programme that was released a few days before. ‌ The ex-Baywatch star released 'Pamela's Cooking With Love' in February 2025. It premiered on the Flavour Network in Cananda before dropping on Amazon Prime, where UK viewers can currently watch it. ‌ It follows the 58-year-old, who has been vegan for more than 30 years, as she "invites some of today's most sought-after chefs to join her on a stunning rural property on Vancouver Island, where together, they'll prepare delicious plant-based meals." ‌ Then in March, 'With Love, Meghan' premiered on Netflix, following the Duchess of Sussex as she "invites friends and famous guests to a beautiful California estate, where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips. At the time Meghan was accused of 'copying' Pamela's new lifestyle series - with the two shows even sharing similar names. And the trailer for Pamela's show was released in October 2024, nearly three months before Meghan dropped hers. ‌ There is even similar dialogue, with Pamela explaining how "I just always have wanted to take things to another level". While Meghan declares: "I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it." Both women are also seen high-fiving guests in the short snippets. Fans were quick to notice the similarities, with one noting on X: "The entire concept is strikingly similar." As another vented: "Markle's show is a straight copy of Pamela Anderson's cooking and entertaining show. Go look at the trailer!" ‌ A third posted: "If you watch the trailer for Pamela's new show, it's a more authentic version of what Meghan was trying to achieve & it looks as though Meghan has copied everything! The trailers are so similar it's freaky." Now Pamela - who remained tight-lipped earlier this year - has had her say on what she thinks of the 'copycat' claims. Appearing on US chat show 'Watch What Happens Live', she played a game of 'Plead the Fifth' with host Andy Cohen. During the quick fire segment, she was asked: "On a scale of 1 to 10, how much of a rip off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show Pamela's Cooking With Love? There were articles saying these two shows were very similar." ‌ Pamela replied: "One," to which a shocked Andy said: "One? You didn't see any similarities?" Keeping things cordial, the actress went on to say: "No, but I didn't really look. I didn't invent cooking shows or anything," before adding of Meghan: "She's just doing her thing." She was then asked about Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone denying her claim that he once offered her a "condo and a Porsche to become his number one girl". There was no hesitation from Pamela as she replied: "Come on, why would I make that up?" But the question she dodged and used her 'Plead the Fifth' on was 'Rank your husbands from favourite to least favourite' referring to her four marriages to Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Rick Salomon and Dan Hayhurst.

Celeb chef Jordan Andino dishes on two new baking shows and his Manila restaurant

Jordan Andino has got a lot cooking. The Filipino-Canadian chef, restaurateur and television personality has been busy in the studio kitchen, serving as a judge on two new shows — 'Halloween Bakeshop' and 'Holiday Bakeshop' — that will premiere this fall on Canada's Flavour Network. At the same time, he's partnering with Filipino chef Francis Tolentino on Union, a buzzy new restaurant opening in Manila, Philippines, on Nov. 8. Meanwhile, Andino remains the culinary director of Continuum wellness club, an ultraluxe gym and health retreat in NYC's Greenwich Village. And he's always on daddy duty, doting on his adorable 2-year-old daughter Malou with his wife of nearly four years, Erin Andino. Courtesy of Jordan Andino Of all those jobs, the gourmand says fatherhood is the most important. 'I get emotional thinking about it,' he tells Alexa. 'To me, it means making sure that the person that you are rearing is the best contributor to the world — so someone who is thoughtful, caring, proactive, ambitious, driven, loving and considerate.' From a young age, his parents — Toronto chef and restaurateur Richard Andino and model and actress Joanna Garel — instilled in him an achievement mindset. And they were strict. 'My dad taught me the meaning of hard work and the meaning of a dollar,' says the tastemaker. 'The immigrant mentality is: Head down and work as hard as you can to do better for the next generation.' Courtesy of Jordan Andino The TV chef was born in Toronto, then moved to Manhattan Beach, Calif., with his mom when he was 9. He developed a love of surfing and skateboarding in the Golden State, and a passion for food while making pastries, pizza and hot apps in his father's kitchens every summer. After attending Cornell University's renowned Hotel School, he worked at top restaurants including The French Laundry, Spago and Jean-Georges. In 2015, he opened Flip Sigi, a fast-casual Filipino taqueria in Greenwich Village, later adding outposts in Chicago and Jersey City, NJ. In 2023, he unveiled Carriage House, a New American restaurant with global influences, on NYC's West 10th Street. Over the last year, he shuttered those locations to focus on TV and other projects. With his food world expertise, gift of gab, down-to-earth demeanor and dazzling smile, Andino is a natural on camera. He's hosted shows including Netflix's 'Cook at All Costs' and Cooking Channel's 'Late Nite Eats,' judged on series from 'Chopped' to 'Worst Cooks in America' and appeared on programs like 'Beat Bobby Flay,' 'Rachael Ray' and Selena Gomez's 'Selena + Chef.' He also runs a busy side business catering events for brands such as Versace and Oscar de la Renta and has worked as a personal chef for celebs, including Kyrie Irving and the Kardashians. 'They were actually some of the best clients I've ever cooked for because they're normal,' he says of the famous family. 'They eat a lot! I love them.' 3 Oxtail agnolotti for a Filipino-themed dinner with the James Beard Foundation. Courtesy of Jordan Andino Advertisement His latest screen effort: baking battles. Eight contestants will compete for a $25,000 prize on the two seasonal programs, which are hosted by Canadian actor Lauren Ash and co-judged with Kareem 'Mr. Bake' Queeman. 'The shows feature some of the best bakers I've ever seen,' observes Andino. 'They found people who have incredible attention to detail.' Andino says that he has evolved as a judge, giving more critical feedback on these programs than in the past. In other words, he strikes a balance between sweet and salty.

From Grunge to Gourmet: Bush Frontman Gavin Rossdale Talks Hits, Food, and Fashion

In 2023, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale sat down with Alan Cross to talk about the release of the band's greatest hits record, Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994–2023. The English rock band formed back in 1992 and has steadily been releasing hits ever since. So, the big question here is: why put out a compilation of hits now? Rossdale answers, 'the way that music is digested now. The turnover is more consistent…it's a really good opportunity to celebrate what you've done over thirty years and have a fresh start for the next year and build up the next greatest hits record.' I wasn't prepared for that.' This experience has introduced him to fans from all generations—even meeting a 'cool' grandmother who came to one of their shows with her grandson.
