The Welshman, 40, cuts a much slimmer figure these days after shedding the pounds over the past eight months. 'I tried to squeeze into a large size a little bit too soon but after a month or two, I was able to fit into it. It was alright then. I need a good night's sleep ahead of Saturday. 'I wear a different shirt whenever I go, in the Premier League and World Series of Darts events. I choose the colours. I picked this one. 'Looking back to 2024, since I have had my Tour Card that was probably the worst season I've had. I was absolute rubbish. 'So, The final of the Australian Darts Masters was a good game. I watched it back on the TV a couple of times in the practice room. 'I thought to myself, I have dropped a couple of pounds since then, haven't I?'
