NBA playoffs odds, lines, betting: Oklahoma City Thunder one win away from NBA Finals
The 2025 NBA playoffs are in full swing, and the conference finals are underway. The Oklahoma City Thunder (-375) are now the prohibitive title favorites at BetMGM, followed by the Indiana Pacers (+550), New York Knicks (10-1) and Minnesota Timberwolves (40-1). The Thunder responded to a Game 3 blowout by making several big shots down the stretch in a 128-126 Game 4 win over the Wolves to take a 3-1 series lead. In the East, the Knicks entered as -155 series favorites, which is only the second time in the past 50 years that the franchise has been favored in a conference finals series. The Pacers, however, won both games at Madison Square Garden to take a 2-0 series lead, before the Knicks held on to win Game 3. Whereas public betting may waver at times during the NBA season because of all the injuries and load management, the playoffs are a big betting event, Thomas Gable, sportsbook director at the Borgata in Atlantic City — a BetMGM book — told Yahoo Sports. "From a betting perspective, the handle is very good," Gable said. "The NBA suffers from the way that they handle the day-to-day season with players resting, and I think a lot of the recreational players have phased out of the NBA because of that. But the playoffs are a totally different story." Here are the updated series prices for the 2025 NBA playoffs from BetMGM: No. 4 Indiana Pacers (-210) vs. No. 3 New York Knicks (+170) Indiana up 2-1 No. 6 Minnesota Timberwolves (+1800) vs. No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder (-5000) Oklahoma City up 3-1 Eastern Conference No. 4 Indiana Pacers (-325) vs. No. 1 Cleveland Cavaliers (+260) Indiana wins 4-1 No. 3 New York Knicks (-275) vs. No. 2 Boston Celtics (+225) New York up 3-2 Western Conference No. 4 Denver Nuggets (+240) vs. No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder (-325) Oklahoma City wins 4-3 No. 7 Golden State Warriors (+1600) vs. No. 6 Minnesota Timberwolves (-5000) Minnesota wins 4-1 Eastern Conference No. 8 Miami Heat (12-1) vs. No. 1 Cleveland Cavaliers (-2500) Cleveland wins 4-0 No. 7 Orlando Magic (16-1) vs. No. 2 Boston Celtics (-5000) Boston wins 4-1 No. 6 Detroit Pistons (+325) vs. No. 3 New York Knicks (-425) New York wins 4-2 No. 5 Milwaukee Bucks (+165) vs. No. 4 Indiana Pacers (-200) Indiana wins 4-1 Western Conference No. 8 Memphis Grizzlies (10-1) vs. No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder (-2000) Oklahoma City wins 4-0 No. 7 Golden State Warriors (-165) vs. No. 2 Houston Rockets (+140) Golden State wins 4-3 No. 6 Minnesota Timberwolves (+165) vs. No. 3 Los Angeles Lakers (-200) Minnesota wins 4-1 No. 5 Los Angeles Clippers (-115) vs. No. 4 Denver Nuggets (-105) Denver wins 4-3

WWE Spoils Upcoming Title Match Involving Alberto Del Rio
Spoiler alert — Alberto Del Rio might not be the AAA Mega Champion much longer. On June 7, WWE will host Worlds Collide, with talents from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and AAA competing. One of the cross-promotional matches will pit WWE Raw star Chad Gable against AAA's El Hijo Del Vikingo. Advertisement Per an advertisement on this week's episode of Raw, this match will be for the AAA Mega Championship. The problem? Neither Vikingo nor Gable currently holds the AAA Mega Championship. That distinction currently belongs to Alberto El Patron, who WWE fans formerly know as Alberto Del Rio. Last August, Alberto defeated Nic Nemeth to claim the title. Looking ahead, he is slated to defend it against Vikingo at AAA's May 31 show in Mexico. Given the fact that WWE is now promoting Vikingo vs. Gable for the Mega Championship, it seems that they also spoiled the finish to Vikingo vs. Alberto, with the challenger soon becoming the new champion. Vikingo and Gable crossed paths on Raw this week, beginning with the latter landing a cheap shot on the former, who was sitting at ringside. Vikingo later turned the tables during Gable's Money in the Bank qualifier by nailing him with a kick as Gable stood atop the turnbuckle. Advertisement This move allowed Dragon Lee to connect a stomp to Gable. Penta then capitalized with a Mexican Destroyer to Lee and a Penta Driver on Gable for the win. Last month, WWE announced that it had acquired AAA. Vikingo was one of the many talents present at the time of the groundbreaking announcement. 'You should see the other guys': Chad Gable shows off his battle scar following his triple-threat match on WWE RAW
Chad Gable (Image via WWE) Chad Gable had a rough night on WWE RAW this week, but he showed why fans respect him so much. He was in a triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifier match against Dragon Lee and Penta, two very skilled opponents. Even though Gable did not win, he did not back down and gave it everything he had. It was clear he was hurt during the match, but his heart and determination never left the ring with him. This match came just two days after another big WWE show, meaning Gable has been going nonstop. With his team, American Made, he is chasing chances at championships and working hard every time he steps in the ring. However, losing this qualifier is not the end for him, it is just another challenge he is ready to face head-on. Chad Gable lost in a hard-fought battle with Penta and Dragon Lee The match was fast and full of high-energy moves. Penta landed a powerful piledriver on Chad Gable that left a cut above his eye. Still, Gable stayed in the fight, even climbing the ropes for a flying headbutt. But before he could hit it, El Hijo Del Vikingo came in and kicked him, which gave Dragon Lee the chance to stomp on Gable. Penta then finished things off by hitting Gable with his signature move, the Penta Driver, securing the win and earning a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match next month. Penta will next face top WWE stars like Seth Rollins and LA Knight in that match, which will be a huge opportunity for him. After the match, Gable posted a photo on social media(X) showing his cut, saying, 'You should see the other guys.' El Hijo del Vikingo helps Penta qualify for Money in the Bank: Raw highlights, May 26, 2025 That pretty much sums up his tough mindset, he knows wrestling is hard, and he is ready for whatever comes next. Upcoming match for Chad Gable Even though Gable missed out on the Money in the Bank ladder match, he is not slowing down. He is set to face El Hijo Del Vikingo at the Worlds Collide event on June 7 for the AAA Mega Championship. This match is extra important since WWE recently acquired AAA, adding more weight to the title. Their rivalry has been heating up ever since that kick on RAW, and fans are excited to see how this big title fight will play out. For Gable, it is a chance to prove he can win championships on big stages.
