Injured WWE Raw superstar Chad Gable has provided the first specific update on his condition since being written off television last month. While attending a Minnesota Twins baseball game on Sunday, Gable confirmed he is recovering from a rotator cuff injury.
Gable has been out of action since June after a storyline attack from Penta El Zero Miedo. He appeared at the baseball game with his arm in a sling but was in good spirits.

Finding The "Silver Lining"
During an interview with the Twins.TV at the game, Gable was asked about his recovery. He confirmed the nature of his injury and maintained a positive attitude about his time away from the ring.
"I'm looking at the silver lining here. I have a little injury to my rotator cuff," Gable said. "But what it did do was buy me some time off the road to be home with my family and do stuff like this, go to a baseball game on a Sunday which I never get to do. So find the bright side, right?"
Gable was in the middle of a major run as the leader of the "American Made" faction on Raw before the injury. He was written out of storylines on the June 23rd episode of Raw after a backstage attack from his rival, Penta El Zero Miedo. It was reported that Gable underwent successful shoulder surgery in early July to repair the damage.
There is currently no official timeline for his return to the ring. A rotator cuff injury is significant and could see him sidelined for several more months.

WWE Star Emerges
In Gable's absence, a new and intriguing storyline has begun to unfold on Monday Night Raw. The masked persona of "El Grande Americano," under which Gable is the reigning WWE Speed Champion, has been stolen. Ludwig Kaiser has been appearing in the costume, seemingly impersonating the champion.
This development sets up a natural comeback feud for Gable when he is eventually cleared to return. He will be looking to reclaim not only his spot on the roster but also his stolen identity.
Chad Gable is one of WWE's most decorated tag team wrestlers, having won the tag team titles on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. His recent run as a serious, demanding heel has been praised by fans and critics alike, and the wrestling world wishes him a full and speedy recovery.

Woman Adopts Dog, Then Realizes She Doesn't Know 'Release Command' for Food

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A woman filled her adopted dog's food bowl, expecting the canine to devour its contents, but the owner realized a crucial part of the routine was missing: the release command. A popular command that owners teach their dogs is "stay," and quickly after, they'll train them for a release command, signaling to them that they are allowed to move. Common release words include "OK," "break" and "free," an article from the American Kennel Club said. However, owner Liv, known on TikTok as @livlaughlobster, never learned her adopted dog's release command after welcoming her home about a month ago. Her dog, Indy, is a beagle and blue heeler mix, but without knowing more details on the dog's background, she cannot confirm, she told Newsweek via TikTok. This left Liv with learning and guessing what her dog already knows, including getting Indy to eat. In her July 27 TikTok video, which amassed over 2 million views, Liv placed the food in the bowl and told Indy she could eat, but instead, Indy sat and waited. She looked up at Liv, intently listening and ready for the "release command" to be said at any moment. That's when Liv took to social media, hoping people could help her find the correct release command. "I am not sure if we figured out THE command, but we did figure out our own routine that works for us," Liv said. "We just pet her head and say 'good girl,' and she will eat." Liv also learned that Indy, like many dogs, cannot stand baths. The dog loves peanut butter, and despite being part beagle, she has not barked once since being adopted. Viewer Reactions TikTok viewers instantly became intrigued by the situation, flooding the comment section and offering suggestions for Liv to try. "I sing my dog a little song. I never thought about this repercussion," a viewer said. Knowing the possibilities are endless, one person said: "Good luck. My husband is a Marine, and we taught our dog, 'Attack the chow hall.'" Another joked: "Maybe he speaks Spanish." Others couldn't get over how he waited so patiently. Someone pointed out: "Those ears are LISTENING." Paul Heyman Reacts To Travis Scott's Fallout With WWE and The Rock's WrestleMania Absence

The main event of WrestleMania 41 was the Undisputed Universal Title Match between the champion Cody Rhodes and the challenger John Cena. It was expected by fans that The Rock and Travis Scott would be present at the show to help Cena win his 17th title. This was after Cena shocked the world by turning heel at the Elimination Chamber PLE and aligning himself with The Final Boss. While Scott did show up and help out Cena win the match, he and The Great One have been absent from WWE TV. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman addressed the absence of both the Hip-hop star and the Final Boss. Recently, Paul Heyman was a special guest on the Ariel Helwani Show. During his interview, the Oracle shared that he did hear that some people in WWE had some issues with Scott. But Heyman is yet to hear Scott's side of the story. The Oracle also confirmed that initially, there was a payoff planned for the Rock, Scott, and John Cena storyline, but that all fell apart. 'There was [a payoff for the Rock and Travis Scott storyline.] It fell apart. And we moved forward without it… The whole deal with Travis Scott. I don't know if he's done. Any meeting that I was in that involved Travis Scott, I got along with him fine. Have I heard things? I have. Do I know the accuracy of it? Haven't heard Travis' version of it. Like his music, like his taste in women that he has children with, wish I was dating one of those sisters. I'm not. He was married to one. He's doing better at his personal life than I am.' Paul Heyman on why The Rock was not at WrestleMania 41 During the same interview, the Oracle shared that he had no idea about why the Final Boss was not there at WrestleMania 41. At the same time, he pointed out the fact that The Rock was never advertised for the biggest PLE of the year. He also mentioned that during WrestleMania 41, Heyman was busy with his storyline with Reigns, Rollins, and CM Punk. Thus, the Oracle didn't have much time to focus on how the storyline with Cena and Rhodes turned out. 'What about The Rock? He was never advertised or booked for WrestleMania… I don't know what happened with Dwayne. That is something you should have Dwayne come in to these beautiful Yahoo studios and answer for himself. I really don't know. Or have Brian Gewirtz come in. And I am sure he could tell you their side of the story. I really don't know. 'Especially at WrestleMania, I had enough on my plate. I wasn't really that concerned with what was going to happen with John Cena and Cody Rhodes' storyline. I was more concerned with the fact that we got a lot to pull of here, with the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins, and CM Punk. And where we are going to go with Seth Rollins and how we going to do this, and how we going to get to next year's Mania and this year's SummerSlam, and the trajectory that we had. There was a lot on my plate and also other people I was working with,' Paul Heyman said.
