EXCLUSIVE Gene Gallagher makes new girlfriend Nevey Maya the guest of honour on father Liam's Oasis reunion tour
Liam Gallagher 's son Gene has made his new girlfriend the guest of honour on his dad's comeback tour. The 23-year-old was spotted with the blonde 'mystery girl' in March at the Brit Awards. Now MailOnline can reveal she is 20-year-old student Nevey Maya. The pair have spent a summer of love together, travelling to Glastonbury, partying in Ibiza and most recently following the Oasis Live 25 gigs up and down the country. Fans say Gene and Nevey have made them nostalgic because they look just like young versions of Liam and his ex Nicole Appleton of All Saints, who is Gene's mum. The pair couldn't take their hands off each other at Oasis' opening show in Cardiff. An insider told Mailonline: 'They were walking around the VIP area in the President's Lounge at the Principality Stadium looking very loved up. 'It's obvious they adore each other and at times you had to do a double take because they look just like Gene's mum and dad. 'Gene wears shades and has the same swagger as Liam and his girlfriend looks like Nicole. They make a gorgeous couple.' Nevey has documented the couple's travels over the past two months on her Instagram account, most recently kissing while on holiday in Spain. However her choice of music playing over the pictures - Blur's Beetlebum - might not go down well with Gene's dad. Gene is thought to have been single since 2022 when he split with brunette model Amelia, who he'd been dating for two years. Gene recently confided in friends that his indie rock group, Villanelle, will be one of ten warm-up acts taking to the stage for the Oasis tour. An insider said: 'Gene is supporting Oasis. He's been telling a few people and he's really excited. Fans say Gene and Nevey have made them nostalgic because they look just like young versions of Liam and his ex Nicole Appleton of All Saints , who is Gene's mum 'He loves playing with his dad and knows it will be huge for his music career.' Villanelle are yet to be signed, although they will release their first single with an independent label in November. But Gene previously said: 'I want to be the biggest band in the world.' Singing vocals and playing lead guitar for his band, Gene has been the Wonderwall singer's warm-up act on his solo Definitely, Maybe tour this summer. But, in typical style, Liam made his son audition for the gig, telling him: 'Go on, let's see what you're made of because if you're s*** you're not playing.'

Gene Gallagher reveals his VERY down-to earth rider request as he prepares to support his father Liam on Oasis tour
Gene Gallagher is gearing up to support his father and uncle on their reunion tour - and he'll be greeted with a very humble rider request at each stadium. Liam Gallagher 's youngest son Gene, 24, based in London, is said to be one of the acts supporting Oasis on their sell-out reunion tour with indie rock group Villanelle, which he fronts. Before news broke, Gene reportedly confided in friends that he will be one of ten warm-up acts when his father, 52, and uncle Noel, 58, take to the stage. An insider told MailOnline at the time: 'Gene is supporting Oasis. He's been telling a few people and he's really excited. He loves playing with his dad and knows it will be huge for his music career.' And now that Gene's upgrading from small, local venues to stadiums welcoming thousands, he'll be able to reap the benefits - including putting his pre-show requests in a rider. But in a 2024 interview with The Face, the singer revealed his down to earth requirements, which include Birds Eye fish fingers and premium lager. He said after doing a local gig in Nottingham, 'For these shows, it's usually just beer they give us. But for the Definitely Maybe shows, I'm gonna get some fish finger sandwiches on there. 'I'm craving those. The proper orange, Birds Eye ones – with ketchup. And some premium lagers – Asahi.' Discussing his career hopes, Gene, who is from Liam's six-year marriage to the All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, previously said: 'I want to be the biggest band in the world.' Gene is no stranger to life on the road, and his band spent much of last year touring small UK venues. The Mail revealed Gene and his cousin, Anaïs, 24, who is Noel's daughter, played a major part in reuniting the warring brothers for the tour - 15 years after they last played together. Liam's time with his youngest son brought them closer together and a source said: 'Liam has seen the passion the younger generation have for the Oasis tracks. Some of them weren't even born when the band split. 'It hadn't dawned on Noel and Liam until recently that their own kids had never properly seen them together. They didn't want to wait until it was too late to show them why they are Britain's biggest band.' Meanwhile, Gene's older half-brother, Lennon, from Liam's marriage to the actress Patsy Kensit, and his band, Automotion, have not been called up to support their father. Speaking about his sons' bands in 2019, the Live Forever singer said: 'They're both eyeing each other up... from across the room. Gene has got a little band and Lennon has got a little band, they're sort of working it out. 'Lennon's music is a bit more spaced out, like early Verve, pretty chilled. Whereas Gene is more like in-your-face, Arctic Monkeys style. Go for it I say.' After 15 years, the brothers will finally reunite for 41 shows across Europe and the 900,000 fans who have eagerly snapped up tickets will not be disappointed with the set list which is crammed with the nineties band's classics. Opening with Acquiesce - a song from their first 1995 album, they will follow with Morning Glory the titular song of the second studio album with Supersonic playing sixth. Elsewhere Liam and Noel will play Half the World Away, Slide Away, Live Forever before finishing with their three most popular songs Don't Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova. And ahead of the highly-anticipated evening, footage and pictures from a special drone show over Cardiff Principality enticed. The duo lit up the sky with brightly coloured drones which spelt out the word 'OASIS'. It comes after a supermarket is celebrating the long anticipated Oasis comeback with a very special tribute to the Britpop band - and it's sure to catch the attention of devoted fans. Tapping into the musicians' northern roots, Aldi has rebranded one of its locations in Manchester to be pronounced with the distinctive Mancunian accent Noel and Liam Gallagher are known and loved for. The store - now labelled as 'Aldeh' to signal a phonetic change - is sure to delight shoppers in the Bury New Road store in Prestwich, where many will likely be stopping by ahead of the group's concert in nearby Heaton Park, taking place from 11th to 20th of July. The performances, kicking off this weekend, have come after years of reunion rumours repeatedly squashed by the notoriously feuding musicians. Oasis kick off their reunion gigs on 4th July, and will be playing in their home city at Heaton Park from 11th –20th July. 'Manchester is a vibrant city with a rich musical history, and with the Oasis reunion, we wanted to mark the occasion,' said Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK. 'By temporarily renaming our Bury New Road store to "Aldeh", we're celebrating both the local dialect and the legendary band that has brought so much joy to fans worldwide.' As part of the Oasis celebrations, the supermarket has also launched a new range of Aldimania Bucket Hats (£4.99) which will be on sale in stores nationwide from 3rd July, while stocks last.

Liam Gallagher's son Lennon admits rockstar wouldn't let him steal his iconic wardrobe... so he turned to his famous mum Patsy Kensit's clothing collection
Liam Gallagher 's eldest son, Lennon, has revealed the Oasis star wouldn't let him steal his iconic wardrobe, so he raided his mother's collection instead. The model, 25, is known for his uncanny resemblance to his father with his unruly eyebrows and mop of brown hair, and as a child he revealed his Dad used to enjoy making him a mini me. Speaking in an interview with Vogue he exclaimed: 'I looked f***ing sick when Dad dressed Gene [his half-brother] and me in mini-mod parkas for school. 'I used to try and steal his clothes, but I always had more luck with Mum's.' Lennon is from Liam's first relationship with the model and actress, Patsy Kensit, who revealed she only discovered her son was taking her clothes when she saw him wearing them on the front of a magazine. The actress, 57, said: 'I spent forever looking for a Sid Vicious T-shirt from a Corinne Day shoot in the '90s. Then one day, Lennon's wearing it in a magazine.' Even more recently Lennon was caught red-handed wearing another piece from her Sid Vicious collection in an Instagram post in October. Posing in the black and white snap, Patsy commented: 'Isn't that my t shirt? love you'. Lennon also revealed the upcoming Oasis reunion tour will be the first time he has seen his father and uncle play together, save for when he was a child in noise-cancelling headphones. The world went crazy after the Brit pop duo announced their tour last August. And speaking about the magnitude of their success Lennon said: 'I don't think I understood the scale of it all until the band split. 'People would all of a sudden come up to me in the playground and be like, "Oh, my God, have you heard about this?" I just remember thinking, "Oh, s**t… they were massive."' The Oasis Live 25 tour kicks off on 4 July at Cardiff's Principality Stadium before playing sell-out gigs at Manchester's Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London, and Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium. The Brit pop band will then head over to America, South America and Asia in 2025. As well as Lennon, Liam has three other children from different relationships. He shares Gene, 23, with All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, 12-year-old Gemma Gallagher with journalist Liza Ghorbani and Molly, 27, with Lisa Moorish after their short-lived relationship in 1998. And on Wednesday it was revealed that Liam is set to become a grandfather at 52 after his model daughter Molly announced she's expecting her first child with boyfriend Nathaniel Phillips. Molly, 27, shared the news with a sweet Instagram post as she showed off her blossoming baby bump while cosying up to Nathaniel. In the slew of snaps she also shared images of her blossoming bump, baby clothes and a throwback of herself, in the post captioned: 'bulking season [pregnant woman emoji].' Friends and fans were quick to flood the comments with congratulations. Her mum Lisa Moorish wrote: 'Waaaaaaah!' while Sadie Frost commented: 'Congratulations - the best news'. Molly was famously estranged from Liam for 19 years, but she previously revealed she had no 'anger' at the situation. She told The Sunday Times Magazine in 2019: 'I don't have any anger. I'm actually thankful for how I was brought up with my mum and how my life's been. 'I wouldn't be who I am now if... it's all happened the way it was meant to happen. We just got on and I'm happy to have him now.' After meeting his daughter in her teenage years, the Oasis musician penned a song about her, called Now That I Found You, for his album.
