Greece PD: Suspects assault and rob woman at McDonald's on W. Ridge Road
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two women have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman during a robbery at a McDonald's in Greece on Wednesday. According to the Greece Police Department, a 24-year-old woman was using the restroom at the West Ridge Road location when 25-year-old Franscheska Avilas and 18-year-old Aniyha Gonzalez allegedly punched her repeatedly and stole her items. A third person filmed the incident. The victim was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation after sustaining facial injuries during the attack. GPD: Man arrested, woman and children inside apt during standoff Officers said the suspects drove away in a black Toyota that was reported stolen to the Rochester Police Department. On Thursday, Greece police said they found the vehicle parked on Dewey Avenue with Avilas and Gonzalez inside. They were arrested and charged with the following: Franscheska Avilas: Second-degree robbery, aggravated criminal contempt, second-degree assault, fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle. Aniyha Gonzalez: Second-degree robbery, second-degree assault, fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle. Greece PD: Car theft suspects found using License Plate technology
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Three people have been charged after allegedly stealing a white Kia from Rochester. According to the Greece Police Department, a 2025 white Kia Sorento was reported stolen out of the Rochester Police Department. The car was valued at $40,000. Officers were able to use the License Plate Reader system, placed at key points in the town, to help with the investigation. It is mainly used to alert officers to stolen or wanted vehicles. The stolen car was found at the Speedway on West Ridge Road. 51-year-old Jason Field and 36-year-old Nicole Stephan were arrested at the scene. Officers said 37-year-old Joshua Buzard left the store and ran from the scene, but was arrested on Ridgemont Drive. All three suspects have been charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle. Field was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having cocaine during the arrest. WATCH: 2 arrested after road rage incident involving shotgun in Greece

(WROC) – Two women were arrested following a road rage incident involving a firearm on Dewey Avenue in Greece. According to Greece Police, officers responded to the area around 6:45 p.m. on May 4 following multiple 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle accident with a physical altercation near Dewey Avenue and Hager Road. Police said a vehicle was backing out of a driveway when it was struck by a Suburban on Dewey Avenue. Individuals exited the Suburban and confronted the people inside the other car, leading to a fight in the roadway that lasted several minutes. According to police, 23-year-old Felicia Freece had her two-month-old infant in the vehicle without a child safety seat, and the infant was allegedly passed between individuals during the fight. Police said Alyssa Ho, 22, also retrieved a shotgun from her vehicle that she allegedly pointed at people during the confrontation. Ho also allegedly took an iPhone from a person during the fight. GPD said both Freece and Ho fled the scene but were quickly found by responding officers and arrested. Ho was charged with Robbery (1st), Menacing (2nd), Harassment (2nd), and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (3rd). Freece was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Disorderly Conduct. Greece police seize cannabis at Mini-Mart after complaints
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Greece Police officers seized a large amount of cannabis following a search warrant at Dewey Ave Mini-Mart Thursday. According to the Greece Police Department, a search warrant was executed at the Mini-Mart following complaints of illegal cannabis sales. The store is closed and cannot operate until the owner reapplies for a building permit and resolves code enforcement violations. GPD said the business owner was also issued a court appearance ticket for violations of Greece Town Code related to the unlawful possession and sale of cannabis. On December 16, 2021, the Greece Town Board voted to opt out of allowing cannabis dispensaries and consumption sites under the New York State Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act causing cannabis sales to be not permitted in Greece. WATCH: Gunpoint robbery at store in Greece, police search for suspect

(WROC) – Greece Police Department is looking for the suspect of a gunpoint robbery at Henry's Convenience Store on Denise Road. At around 1:59 p.m. on April 26, police responded to the store following a witness's report of a man in his late teens displaying a handgun and stealing cash and other property before fleeing the area. When officers responded Greece Police said they deployed a K9 unit and conducted an aerial drone search. Following the search, police were unable to find the suspect. Surveillance video provided by Greece Police captured the robbery and the suspect running east on Leroy Street from the wood line behind the North Shore Apartments. This is an ongoing investigation.
