Saudi crown prince praises efforts behind Hajj success

'The continued success we witnessed today in serving the Guests of God is the result of our blessed country's efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques, the holy sites and their visitors,' the crown prince said. 'We will continue to exert all efforts to provide comfort to the Guests of God.' His remarks came during a reception held at the Royal Court in Mina Palace, where he received Eid Al Adha well-wishers on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The gathering included senior princes, the Kingdom's Grand Mufti, high-ranking officials, military commanders involved in the Hajj operation and guests from Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The crown prince also praised the dedication of government employees and volunteers across all sectors for their role in enabling pilgrims to complete their Hajj rituals safely and peacefully. Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Statistics announced on Thursday this year's pilgrims totaled 1,673,230, including 1,506,576 from outside the Kingdom.

Baghdad-INA The Supreme Hajj and Umrah Commission announced on Sunday the arrival of all pilgrims who had been transported by land to the Holy Land. The authority stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the last land convoys have entered Medina, thus marking the success of its plan for transporting the Guests of God by land to the Holy Lands. This plan was implemented over 10 days of continuous work in cooperation with various security forces, all provincial administrations, the Ministry of Health, and relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." The authority indicated that "the authority operated approximately 1,050 buses from all over the country, including the Kurdistan Region." According to the statement, the authority confirmed that "no accidents were recorded involving pilgrim buses during the land transportation process, whether in Iraq or in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

JEDDAH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has warned those, who wish to perform Hajj, against dealing with unauthorized channels and entities. It emphasized that any information or offers made available through unofficial channels are misleading and do not represent the ministry or other relevant authorities. The ministry called on everyone to be accurate and avoid being swayed by false advertisements or fake Hajj offers. The ministry stated that Hajj pilgrims must obtain a Hajj visa issued by the relevant authorities in the Kingdom, and that is in coordination with Hajj Affairs offices in 80 countries, or through the 'Nusuk Hajj" platform, which is designated for pilgrims coming from more than 126 countries. Direct booking is available through the platform. The ministry emphasized that the "electronic path" on the ministry's official website ( and the "Nusuk" app are the approved channels for booking packages for domestic pilgrims, including citizens and expatriates.
