Hajj Completed, Bahraini Pilgrims Begin Journey Home
Bahraini pilgrims have begun their journey home after completing the sacred rites of Hajj, with the first group departing Makkah tomorrow in a return marked by peace, humility and well-coordinated logistics.
The final group is set to return by air on the 11th of this month.
Officials said the homecoming of pilgrims through Bahrain International Airport and King Fahd Causeway is being closely monitored by the Bahraini Hajj Mission to ensure a smooth and safe reception.
Seamless return
His Excellency Shaikh Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Qattan, Head of the Bahrain Hajj Mission, praised the joint efforts of relevant authorities who had put in place early preparations for the pilgrims' return.
He said the coordination between agencies reflected Bahrain's strong commitment to supporting the faithful from departure to return.
Al-Qattan extended special thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their care and attention to the wellbeing of Bahraini pilgrims throughout the Hajj season.
He also expressed deep appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership - HM King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince HRH Mohammed bin Salman - for their exceptional organisation and support in hosting millions of pilgrims this year.
'Their efforts made it possible for the Guests of God to perform Hajj with ease and tranquillity,' Al-Qattan noted.
Campaign organisers accompanying Bahraini pilgrims shared similar praise for the mission's role, thanking the government and volunteers for their presence and support at every stage of the journey.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Leader of the Royal Endurance Team, is set to lead Bahrain's riders in the Rashford International Endurance Race in the United Kingdom. HH Shaikh Nasser will compete in the 120 km race, which brings together top riders from Bahrain, the UAE, the UK, Spain, and India. Meanwhile, other members of the Royal Team will take on the 160 km and 100 km challenges. Highlighting the importance of the event, Shaikh Nasser said the race reflects the strong reputation Bahraini endurance sport enjoys on the international stage. He stressed that the team is always aiming for podium finishes and to gain valuable experience from such high-level competitions. 'We look forward to giving our best and achieving success,' he added, wishing the riders good luck. The veterinary checks for the 100 km, 120 km, and 160 km races were completed at the championship village, where horses were inspected, riders were weighed, and preparations finalized.
