Newly-married Jack P. Shepherd gives an insight into honeymoon with wife Hanni Treweek as he pokes fun at trip

Newly-married Jack P. Shepherd gave an insight into his honeymoon with his wife Hanni Treweek on Monday as he poked fun at their trip. The actor, 37, and his partner Hanni, 35, tied the knot at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday, just over one year after he popped the question while on safari in Africa. The couple are enjoying some time together at a mystery location, with Jack sharing snippets on his Instagram Story. Uploading a clip of Hanni looking out to sea, he said: 'Little choppy today. A few broken plates. She added: A little bit too much chop!' Referencing the Goonies, Jack then joked: 'One-Eyed Willy's cave - where all the gold's kept. That's my room up there. Where I'm staying.' Jack, who has played the iconic David Platt on Coronation Street since 2000, shared a passionate kiss with Hanni as white confetti fell on them after their wedding ceremony at the weekend. The soapstar cut a dapper figure in a white suit as he arrived in a red mustang with his mother and his son Reuben, who he shares with his ex Lauren Shippey. Hanni arrived shortly after, and looked gorgeous in an elegant white gown, with lace detail and a long trail. Fellow Corrie star Lucy Fallon was amongst the guests as well as Tina O'Brien, who plays his sister Sarah, and his on-screen wife Julia Goulding. Other Corrie stars in attendance included Samia Longchambon, Colson Smith, Ben Price, Alan Halsall and Jayne Danson. Jack previously revealed he took part in the show in order to pay for the wedding. A source told The Sun the pair are going all out to make sure it is their 'dream day'. 'Jack and Hanni are having their big white wedding at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday,' a source said. They added: 'They have gone all out to make sure it's their dream day and there has been no expensed spared.' 'It's a very grand setting getting wed at the cathedral, and it will be packed with guests, including many of Jack's Corrie co-stars.' Jack and Hanni have been dating since 2017, after meeting on the soap when she worked in the press office. She later became a storyliner on the ITV show, before quitting to work as a fashion influencer. Despite being colleagues, their romance actually began when Jack impressed Hanni at a mutual friend's wedding. Speaking to OK! Magazine in 2020, Jack recalled: 'Then our mutual friends got married and we were both guests at the wedding. 'We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.' The duo then later bumped into each other once again in a Sainsbury's, which led to an exchange of texts and a blossoming romance. He told The Daily Star: 'I texted her afterwards and said 'that was awkward' and she told me she thought she looked a mess and then we started texting from there. 'I actually thought she looked fit – I just saw the girl I fancy wearing Lycra! We quickly went on our first date and we just clicked.'

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon shares look inside Jack P Shepherd's stunning wedding celebrations

CORONATION Street beauty Lucy Fallon gave fans a front-row seat to Jack P Shepherd's wedding bash. Jack and wife Hanni Treweek said I do in their stunning wedding ceremony on Saturday at Manchester Cathedral. 8 8 Lucy Fallon, who plays Jack's on-screen niece Bethany Platt, attended the wedding in a summery yellow floor-grazing frock. She took to Instagram to share snaps of the special day, writing the caption: "a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous day celebrating Hanni & Jack." Her followers got a glimpse of the stunning table and ceremony setup and decor inside the grand gothic cathedral, along with the bus that guests travelled on. Despite a cloudy day, the pair pulled out all the stops. A total of 150 white padded seats were laid out on the flagstones while staff worked hard to instal a detailed floral altar. After their nuptials at the cathedral, they headed the short distance to The Lowry hotel in Salford for the wedding breakfast and reception. Lucy also posed for a photo with her on-screen mum, Tina O'Brien, who looked stunning in a plunging blue floral dress. Tina put on a loved-up display with her new man as she left the wedding. She brought her new boyfriend, interior designer Adam Fadlé, to the star-studded bash and the pair couldn't keep their hands off each other. The couple embraced and kissed before the actress looked up lovingly at her boyfriend while holding his arm. Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien finds love again months after marriage ends - & new man has striking similarity to her ex Tina found love again just four months after the end of her marriage to personal trainer Adam Crofts. The pair were understood to have met through friends in Cheshire where they both live. Tina, 41, who has played Sarah Platt on the ITV soap in two stints over 26 years, split with 40-year-old Adam No1 in March. The pair, who were married for six years, share son Beau together. Real-life soap couples Soaps are renowned for their sweet and scandalous romances – but it's not just in scripted storylines where love is blossoming. A number of our favourite small-screen actors have fallen for co-stars and soapland rivals when the cameras have stopped rolling. Max Parker and Kris Mochrie Despite playing brothers Luke and Lee Posner on Emmerdale, the pair never actually shared any scenes together. But the pair still fell in love after meeting on set. Max and Kris got together in 2020, moving in together later than same year and got engaged in 2022. In a sweet Instagram post, the couple confirmed they're planning a 2025 wedding. Beth Cordingly and Ian Kelsey Beth, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, announced her love for her co-star Ian Kelsey, who played Dean Glover, shortly after she joined Emmerdale at the beginning of 2024. 'I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic," she gushed. Laura Norton and Mark Jordan Kerry Wyatt and Daz Eden actors Laura and Mark met on the set of Emmerdale in 2014. The couple, who got engaged in 2018, told Loose Women they spent a long time deciding whether they should "just stay as friends." Although it seems they were meant to be and the pair now share two children together. Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley Emmerdale favourites Zoe and Jeff, who play Rhonda Goskirk and Cain Dingle met at drama college in 1994 and have been together ever since. While working together might be too much for some couples, that's definitely not the case for Zoe and Jeff. Zoe previously told The Sun: "Working on the same show as Jeff also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand." Lesley Dunlop and Chris Chittell Lesley and Chris are another Dales romantic success story. Unlike some of the other soap stars, the pair who play Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard, are together on and off screen, officially tying the knot in 2016. They also adore working together, but have clear home-work boundaries. "We make a point of not talking about Emmerdale when we're at home, though – that would be just too sad, wouldn't it?" Chris revealed. Sally Carman and Joe Duttine Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe actors Sally and Joe got together after meeting on the set of Coronation Street in 2017 and they tied the knot in July 2022. But unlike some of the Emmerdale stars, Sally and Joe prefer that their characters don't interact much. Sally previously admitted it "would be horrendous" to work on a storyline with Joe because "he's too funny." Anthony Cotton and Peter Eccleston Sean Tully may have been unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Antony's met his Prince Charming. The soap star started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie. Jane Danson and Robert Beck Corrie favourite Jane Danson tied the knot with soap star Robert Beck in 2005. The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby, shares two children, Harry and Sam, with the former Brookside star. During their marriage, Robert has also done a stint in Weatherfield playing criminal Jimmy Dockerson. Caroline Harding and Chris Gascoyne Chris, who played pub landlord Peter Barlow, married soap star Caroline in 2002. Although she is best known as an Emmerdale star, Caroline did visit her husband at work when she did a two-episode stint as doctor on the Manchester soap in 2020. The couple share a daughter called Belle, plus two children, Pip and Freddie from Caroline's previous marriage. Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas Speed Nadine Mulkerrin, and Rory Doulas Speed are known for their Hollyoaks alter egos Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter. The loved-up pair got engaged on a December 2018 trip to Amsterdam - just over a year after they announced they were dating. They now share two kids, Reggie and Dougie. Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward Former Hollyoaks star Sophie, whose best known for playing villain Lindsay Butterfield, was introduced to singer and ex-Corrie star Shayne through mutual friends. She gave birth to their daughter Willow in December 2016 and they welcomed a son in 2022. Tina also has a 16-year-old daughter from her relationship with her former Corrie co-star Ryan Thomas. Adam No2, aged 38, studied architecture before opening his interior design business in 2010 and is a millionaire design guru loved by footballers like Paul Pogba. He overhauled the former Manchester United star's lavish Cheshire pad after he signed for the club. Jack's wedding festivities carried on late into the night as he and his Corrie costars celebrated his long-awaited nuptials. Some of the other Coronation Street stars spotted at the big do, included soap legend Helen Worth who played his on-screen mum, Gail Platt, Samia Longchambon (Maria Connor), Ben Price (Nick Tilsley), Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) and Julia Goulding (Shona Platt). Also in attendance were Jack's former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes and his co-star Alan Halsall, who was joined by new girlfriend Ellie Dolan. 8 8 8 8 8

All the details from Jack P. Shepherd's lavish cathedral wedding to Hanni Treweek from Coronation Street wedding singer cameo to CBB winner's sweet gesture to new wife

Jack P. Shepherd and Hanni Treweek were surrounded by friends, family and colleagues as they tied the knot at Manchester Cathedral this weekend. The newlyweds - who met while Hanni worked as a storyline writer and researcher on Coronation Street - shared a passionate kiss as white confetti fell on them after the romantic ceremony. Several of Jack's soap co-stars were among the guests - and actor Andy Whyment even took to the stage to sing a few songs as the celebrations went on into the night. In a series of clips shared on guests' Instagram Stories, Andy could be seen accompanied by a band as he sang Half The World Away by Oasis. Meanwhile Lucy Fallon posted an adorable clip of the sweet gesture Jack did for his new wife after their ceremony. Heading outside to be covered in white confetti, Jack ran out in front of Hanni to pick up the train on her dress and lay it out for photos. Elsewhere pictures showed the utterly stunning interior of the cathedral for the ceremony, as well as a small orchestra playing music for arrivals. After the cathedral ceremony, guests got into a vintage red double-decker bus to travel to the venue for the evening celebrations - where everyone partied until 1am. Jack's Celebrity Big Brother co-star Chris Hughes was among the guests, and gave an insight into the menu for the meal, which consisted of burata, lemon and thyme chicken and cheesecake. Guests enjoyed their meal in a stunning high-ceiling venue featuring arches and stained glass windows, with beautiful white flower bouquets on each table. They were also greeted with individual goodie bags at their seats in elegant white gift bags. Jack and Hanni were seen arm-in-arm as they took to the white dancefloor later in the evening for their first dance as husband and wife, with a band playing behind them. As the newlyweds and their guests partied late into the night, actress Samia Longchambon really let her hair down and seen dancing while on her husband Sylvain's shoulders on the dancer floor. Earlier in the day, Jack had arrived in a red mustang with his mother and his son Reuben, who he shares with his ex Lauren Shippey. Fellow Corrie star Lucy Fallon, who plays David's niece Bethany Platt, turned heads in a plunging yellow gown, teamed with gold strappy heels. Tina O'Brien, who plays his sister Sarah, looked typically chic in a plunging blue and white gown, while his on-screen wife Julia Goulding opted for a turquoise number. Other Corrie stars in attendance included Samia Longchambon, Colson Smith, Ben Price, Alan Halsall and Jayne Danson. Jack, who won Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, previously revealed he took part in the show in order to pay for the wedding. A source previously told The Sun the pair were going all out to make sure it was their 'dream day'. 'Jack and Hanni are having their big white wedding at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday,' a source said. 'They have gone all out to make sure it's their dream day and there has been no expensed spared.' 'It's a very grand setting getting wed at the cathedral, and it will be packed with guests, including many of Jack's Corrie co-stars.' It came after Hanni got wedding ready during a girls' day out at The Ivy restaurant for her hen party earlier this month. Hanni, who was a colleague of Jack's as a storyline writer and researcher on Corrie, looked stunning in a high-neck white lace mini-dress as she danced the night away to live music. It came after she enjoyed lunch and cocktails at The Ivy, where she posed for snaps with her pals and drank from a giant 'Bride' straw - with her hens all wearing Jack masks. Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday, Hanni also revealed that she and Jack had been at a lesson for their first dance, as she shared a mirror selfie of the pair in a studio captioned: 'Hungover but dancing through as Mrs Shepherd to be.' She captioned her hen party snaps: 'The non hen party party, two weeks before the wedding. 25 years of a special friendship with these beautiful girlies, how lucky are we. 'I love you all so much, thank you for throwing me a non hen party party it was perfect. The next time I see you I'll be walking down the aisle.'
