Emmerdale advanced spoilers tease 'unexpected' Robert twist and murder shock
Emmerdale fans have been sharing some advanced spoilers obtained from soap magazines that hint at scenes beyond next week's episodes, with twists ahead on the ITV soap There's some new spoilers for Emmerdale that have certainly got viewers talking. Off the back of the latest batch of spoilers dropping as usual on Tuesday, some teasers for future weeks revealed in some soap magazines have been shared online. Soap fans will know the mags tend to hint at what's happening beyond the current week of spoilers, with a glimpse at what will be in the next issue. With that there's vague spoilers about that week, likely to be in a couple of weeks time. It comes as spoilers for next week teased John Sugden would target his brother Robert Sugden once more in a twisted plan to turn his family against him. Now, the advanced spoilers for the next issues have teased more turmoil for Robert, as well as an "unexpected" twist. Said to be for episodes airing the week of August 18, the snippets taken from soap magazines, while it's not noted which ones, tease this plot will continue. It's thought the lines are from Inside Soap magazine and What's On TV magazine, in their latest issues. It's not the only storyline to carry on though, as further spoilers tease a potentially huge update in the Nate Robinson murder plot. There's also "upset" for one couple, and a "stressful announcement". The spoilers are all a bit vague, intentionally, with more information to be revealed in the new spoilers next Tuesday. For now though, fans have been trying to decipher what certain teasers mean. With the Robert plot, one spoiler states he's left "struggling to cope" as his turmoil over his feud with John, rejection in the village and his six years in prison begins to take its toll. But there's set to be an "unexpected encounter" that lifts some of that turmoil it seems. Cain Dingle features a lot in this week too according to the teasers. There's said to be some news from the police about the investigation into his son Nate's death. Currently, his killer John has successfully managed to frame now-dead Owen for the crime, with a fake confession. But it's said Cain and Nate's wife Tracy Robinson are forced to relive events as the police have some questions about Nate's death. So why are the cops snooping around once more, and should John be worried? There's set to be emotional scenes as Nate's loved ones are forced to face their grief once more. Cain also shares an announcement that is set to stress one village resident out, according to another spoiler. But what does he have to say? Teen Dylan Penders also features in this week amid his trouble with villain Ray, with April Windsor now dragged into it. A spoiler hints Dylan will be left feeling "guilty" about something he has done. What could this be about? Finally, there's more trouble for Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd judging by another teaser. The spoiler suggests Mack is left upset with his wife when she forgets an important date. So what has she forgotten, and could the pair be headed for a split? ITV Coronation Street's Farrel Hegarty teases Lou Michaelis return and shares her one desire
Farrel Hegarty has revealed that she was 'really sad' to film her final scenes as Lou Michaelis in Coronation Street and has shared her dream storyline for the character. Coronation Street 's Farrel Hegarty has opened up about her hopes for character Lou Michaelis should she make a comeback to the Cobbles. The actress is set to depart from the ITV soap just a few months after her first appearance as Lou, who arrived in Weatherfield in February alongside her husband Mick, quickly becoming known as the new 'nightmare neighbours'. They took up residence on Mawdsley Street, behind Chesney and Gemma Winter-Brown's home, marking the first time Corrie has expanded its drama across the ginnel, with the couple immediately causing a stir. The plot thickened dramatically when Mick shockingly murdered PC Craig Tinker while on duty, in harrowing scenes broadcast in May which left fans devastated, as reported by the Manchester Evening News. As viewers reel from Mick's incarceration, it's been revealed that he will stage a daring prison escape leading to a tense hostage situation as he desperately seeks freedom. While Mick's fate on the show seems sealed, either through fleeing or returning to prison, the details surrounding Lou's departure remain uncertain. Farrel, also known for her TikTok fame, has shared her feelings about shooting her last scenes, telling Inside Soap: "It was really sad. "On your last day on set, they give you a little round of applause. Julia [Goulding, aka Shona Platt] is one of my best mates and she popped round the corner. You know when you see your mate and it just makes you upset? I saw her little face and I burst into tears!" Farrel recalled, opening up about her emotional farewell on the set. When questioned about her ideal storyline for Lou if she were to return, Farrel expressed her wishes: "I would love to see what she's capable of without Mick. They were so dependent on each other, and it was so toxic. "There's a lot of joy and fun in her and also mischief. Obviously, it wouldn't be strait-laced, would it? She'd go on a rampage!". Elsehwere, Coronation Street's Mikey North has spoken out about the uncertainty surrounding his character Gary Windass, as fans continue to speculate whether he might be written out of the popular ITV soap. Mikey, who has portrayed Gary for almost 20 years, expressed concerns over his potential departure. Speaking on This Morning regarding Gary's intense current storyline, Mikey made a light-hearted confession about his time in Weatherfield. He shared with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard: "Gary's walked out and has gone missing. We find him in hospital in a coma." Sharon Marshall humorously remarked that Maria often seems to be a 'black widow' on the street, given her history with men. Responding to this, Mikey quipped: "I think I've been with her five or six years counting, so I've probably got about six months left."

Earlier this year, viewers were introduced to Lou and her husband Mick Michaelis, as well as their three children Joanie, Shanice and Brody. Yet things took a dramatic turn when it was revealed that Kit Green was in fact the biological father of Brody after an affair with Lou when Mick was in prison. This revelation left Mick furious as he went out in revenge but sadly it was PC Craig Tinker who received his wrath as he killed him with a baseball bat after being pulled over for drink-driving. However, Gary has since gone missing and was recently revealed to be in a coma in hospital but his family don't know this fact yet. Talking about the upcoming scenes and confirming her soap future, Lou star Farrel told Inside Soap of filming her final scenes: "It was really sad. After leaving the cobbles, Ryan spent a year appearing as Rafael Humphreys in the Australian soap Neighbours in 2018. He won Celebrity Big Brother in 2018 and Dancing on Ice in 2024. And while he is no stranger to the soap world, the star admits he was nervous ahead of his Corrie return. He added, 'I couldn't sleep the night before I went back. 'Even though I'd been there half my life, I felt like the new kid in school. It took me half a day to get rid of the nerves.'
