Woman wanted for drug-related charges turns herself into CKPS
Chatham-Kent police say a 22-year-old woman has turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest for missing a court appearance for drug-related charges. On July 30, 2024, during a traffic stop in Chatham, officers say the driver provided false identification. The driver, a 22-year-old woman from Hamilton, was arrested for obstructing police and possession of forged documents. Upon investigation, police say a large quantity of cash and a scale were located inside of the vehicle. On Aug. 7, 2024, members of the Intelligence Unit conducted a systematic search of the vehicle which resulted in the discovery and seizure of the following items: 129.73 grams of cocaine with an approximate street value of $12,973 1,986.74 grams of methamphetamine (with an approximate street value of $119,204.40 221.99 grams of fentanyl with an approximate street value of $55,497.50 $1,870 in Canadian currency Two digital scales A prohibited weapon A gold watch As a result, reasonable grounds existed to charge the accused with the following offences: Count 1: Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking Count 3: Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking Count 4: Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or restricted She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 06, 2024, which she failed to attend, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On July 21, she turned herself in at the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters in relation to her outstanding warrant. She is currently being held for bail.

PGA Raids Factory In Batu Gajah, Seizes aluminium Worth RM10 Mln
BATU GAJAH, July 17 (Bernama) -- The General Operations Force (PGA) seized approximately 1,221.3 tonnes of aluminium valued at nearly RM10 million in a raid on a metal processing factory in the Pengkalan 4 Industrial Area, Pusing, here yesterday. PGA Northern Brigade Deputy Commander ACP Shamsul Baharin Aman said the enforcement operation at 7.30 pm involved personnel from the Intelligence Unit of the 3rd Battalion PGA, the Intelligence Unit of the Northern Brigade Headquarters, and the 1st Battalion PGA, with assistance from the Perak Department of Environment (DOE) and Batu Gajah District Council. He said the premises were believed to be carrying out aluminium processing activities without a valid licence or permit issued by the Perak DOE under the Environmental Quality Act 1974.

Man Held In Shimla On Charges Of Espionage, Was Providing Key Information To Enemy
Last Updated: The man has been accused of allegedly spying and providing confidential information related to the army and the country with Pakistan or some other country The Indian Army's Intelligence Unit has apprehended a man on charges of espionage in Shimla on Friday. The suspect was held by Army near Shimla's Army Training Command (ARTRAC) on Friday. The army took him to different places and interrogated him. However, his identity has not been revealed yet. The man has been accused of allegedly spying and providing confidential information related to the army and the country with Pakistan or some other country. However, concrete evidence is still being collected against the suspect. According to sources, the suspect was staying in a hotel in the Himachal capital since May 28. He was allegedly asking the local people about the army. Sources further revealed that the suspect is a native of Uttar Pradesh's Noida and hold a US citizenship. During the interrogation, the suspect revealed that he works in a private company. He also told that his father was a colonel in the field military, sources added. He also told that has traveled to 64 countries including Pakistan in 2005 and China in 2008. SP Shimla confirmed the arrest and said that the army has handed over the youth and he is being interrogated. Earlier this week, Kangra Police arrested a 20-year-old youth on suspicion of espionage following a tip-off. The suspect, identified as Abhishek, a native of Dehra, was held just three kilometres away from Shri Mata Chintpurni Temple on Una-Kangra districts border. The development comes as a series of revelations regarding Pakistani spy networks in India. Several Indians were arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan including a CRPF personnel Moti Ram Jat from Rajasthan, a contractual health worker Sahdevsinh Gohil posted in the border district of Kutch, a YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra from Haryana who has several lakhs of subscribers. She was arrested in Haryana this month. She had travelled to Pakistan a number of times. Additionally, a Rajasthan government employee was detained in Jaisalmer on suspicion of espionage for Pakistan with sources saying he worked as an assistant to former Congress minister Shale Mohammad. Shakur Khan, who works in the district employment office, was found to have phone numbers associated with Pakistan stored on his device, an official said. Prior to this month's conflict, Pakistanis and Indians were able to travel to each other's countries, but it has long been very difficult to obtain visas due to government bureaucracy and historical mistrust. The relations between India and Pakistan hit rock bottom after the neighbouring country resorted to a terror attack in Kashmir's iconic Pahalgam, killing 26 innocent tourists on April 22. In response, India, on the intervening night of May 7 and 8, launched 'Operation Sindoor' against Pakistan and destroyed multiple terror targets there.

When the Chicago P.D.'s season 12 finale aired, many may not have expected to witness a tragic death. The person who died from the show was none other than Charlie Reid. For those who did not get a chance to see how he met his demise, read on to know about it. In the episode, it was not the Intelligence Unit or Hank Voight who directly killed Reid. The Killer was Renny Otero, who was the son of Jesus Otero, a drug smuggler. If you remember, Jesus was killed by Reid's hitman previously, in an episode named Open Casket. In the finale, when the officers, including Reid, gathered outside the court for a preliminary disciplinary hearing for Intelligence, as revenge for his father's death, Renny assassinates Reid. While he dies, Reid tells Voight, 'You're worse than me.' Later, Nina Chapman explains that Voight may not have pulled the trigger, but he did have a hand in ensuring that Reid died. Voight's lack of denial confirmed Chapman's suspicion, which also ended the potential romance that could have unfolded between the two as ADA disapproved of his actions. In the conclusion, Voight was only making sure that a dangerous, compromised figure high up in the CPD could no longer have a hand in controlling the streets of Chicago. The investigation into Intelligence was not carried forward. The unit was saved, and Kim Burgess, along with Torres, got their jobs back. The season truly gave us major twists and turns.
