Jagga Reddy asks KTR to explain purpose of secret meeting with AP IT minister Nara Lokesh
Congress senior leader and former MLA T. Jagga Reddy questioned the credibility of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao and asked him to explain the alleged secret meetings he had with Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh. 'Was the meeting held at the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or not?' he asked at a press conference held in Hyderabad, further demanding that KTR should explain to the people the purpose of such a secret meeting. 'Is there any conspiracy and are you part of it?' he asked. Responding to BRS leaders' taunts on why Mr. Revanth Reddy doesn't chant 'Jai Telangana,' Mr Jagga Reddy sought to know why the BRS had taken out the Telangana word from its party's name. 'Is it not the BRS that has insulted Telangana?' he asked, appealing them to introspect before criticising others. Mr. Jagga Reddy also ridiculed the BRS narrative that Mr. Revanth Reddy was a disciple of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. 'Before Mr. Revanth Reddy even entered the Assembly, KCR was a three-time MLA, Minister, and Deputy Speaker in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) under Mr. Naidu. Should we not talk about that history?' he asked. Mr. Jagga Reddy claimed that KCR was afraid to face Mr. Revanth Reddy, and that is why he was deliberately skipping the Assembly sessions. 'After being in power for 10 years, questions will be asked, and KCR doesn't have those answers for destroying Telangana.' Taking a dig at senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao, the former MLA called him a 'great actor' and accused him of making baseless allegations against Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, who is known for his integrity, and has served in the Indian Air Force as a fighter pilot. Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy would not run away from challenges and he is used to face them bravely.

The TPCC working president dared her to respond to allegations of her involvement in the Delhi liquor scam and demanded an explanation from her on the source of her wealth. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president T, Jayaprakash Reddy has lambasted Union Minister G Kishan Reddy for his comments against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy regarding the Gulzar Houz fire. Mr. Jagga Reddy said that the CM had alerted the officials concerned and instructed ministers to oversee relief measures immediately after learning about the incident. Addressing a press conference on Monday, Mr. Jagga Reddy stated, 'Kishan Reddy stopped thinking about what to do and did a dirty job. It's unbecoming of him, acting like a gully leader. I felt sad. He is not the type to do that.' Mr. Jagga Reddy questioned the Union Minister's priorities, citing the Gujarat bridge collapse incident which claimed 140 lives, and wondered why he had not raised similar concerns then. He also mentioned Mr. Kishan Reddy's Bharat Mata Yatra, where two people died due to firecrackers and another person fell into a tank bund, and questioned why the Minister didn't speak out on those tragic incidents. The Congress senior leader suggested that Mr. Kishan Reddy focus on serving the people rather than criticising the CM. He also maintained that the Chief Minister was acting responsibly, unlike other party leaders.

‘Apara Kali' Indira Gandhi fought against Pak despite US pressure: Jagga Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president T Jagga Reddy on Monday said that following the latest India-Pakistan confrontation, people were recalling the way former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi responded to the 1971 war with Pakistan. Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Jagga Reddy, also a former MLA, said that the decisions taken by Indira Gandhi at that time were appreciated by the whole world, as her actions reflected the collective courage of the nation. 'Even during the face of war, Indira Gandhi did not indulge in criticising the Opposition. In the latest India-Pakistan confrontation, Indira Gandhi's memories were relieved. There is more discussion on her decisions, as she did not give up despite American pressure to stop the war. Indira Gandhi openly said that the decision of the people of India should not be interfered with. Pakistan had to bow down, as there was no choice for it. That's why Atal Bihari Vajpayee famously described her as Apara Kali,' he explained. The former Sangareddy MLA recalled that irrespective of caste and religion, everyone congratulated Indira Gandhi. He said that Indira's charisma was such that people waited for her at public meetings three days prior to her arrival. 'When I was a child, I used to attend RSS shakha. In our house, my mother kept a photo of Durga Mata and we worshipped it, which was kept next to Indira Gandhi's portrait,' he recalled. Ridiculing Eatala Rajender's statements against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the Congress party, Jagga Reddy asked him to tell the definition of Randa. He said that the Congress would counter each and every foul word against Revanth Reddy or the party. The PCC working president warned Eatala to watch his words before speaking against the Congress or its leaders.
