Dubai: Atif Aslam takes to Global Village stage ahead of season closing
Popular Pakistani artist Atif Aslam took to the main stage at Global Village on Sunday evening. Aslam, who shot to fame with his hit Aadat, melds pop, rock and classical music in his singles. Fans can expect the Pakistani heartthrob to sing tracks including Tera Hone Laga Hoon, Jeene Laga Hoon, Woh Lamhe, and Tere Bin. Global Village, Dubai's annual family-friendly globetrotting expedition, said earlier today that it would remain open until 2am. The destination is open until May 11, this season. So far, it has hosted a number of well-known stars such as Bollywood's Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan and tribute shows to artiste's such as Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. This year, Global Village is hosting 30 pavilions that represent over 90 cultures, with more than 3,500 shopping outlets and over 250 dining options.

Expect to hear his greatest hits live… Global Village UAE is closing its doors next month, which is already a reason to go and visit. This weekend, you will get an added treat, as Pakistani playback singer and songwriter, Atif Aslam is performing on the main stage. The family destination has hosted several top singers in the past, such as Swedish icon Zara Larsson and Tinie Tempah. And on Sunday, April 27, music sensation Atif Aslam will be performing some of his greatest hits and fan-favourite melodies for his adoring fans. His performance begins at 8.30pm. Since the concert is free to attend, it is sure to draw in the crowds, so arrive good and early to nab a prime viewing spot. Atif Aslam is known for his soulful voice and has many chart-topping hits that have captured the hearts of generations across the globe. On the night, we can expect some of his top hits from over his two-decade musical career. As usual, all good things come to an end, and Global Village Dubai will close its doors on May 11, 2025. It will be back for a new season towards the end of 2026. Tickets to visit on a weekday, (from Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays) will cost you Dhs25 per person. However, if you want an any-day entry ticket, it's Dhs30 per person. Don't forget, that minors below the age of three, seniors above 65 and people of determination can enter for free. But, you will still need to get your free tickets for them on the website.
