Search continues for Abilene man nearly 1 month after disappearance
ABILENE, Texas () – The search continues for an Abilene man nearly one month after his disappearance. Loved ones confirmed authorities are still searching for Jeremy Neves. Tuesday, April 29, they searched via helicopter, checking every possible route from Guitars and Cadillacs Club, where Neves was last seen alive, to his home. They also searched a 5-mile radius around Industrial Boulevard and Maple Street, focusing on heavily wooded-areas. Neves was last seen leaving the club late Thursday, April 3 and did not show up for work the next day. Detectives have received tips that Neves may have been involved in a crash after leaving the club and are currently investigating these reports. Multiple search parties for Neves have already taken place at Kirby Lake and Lake Ft. Phantom Hill. Jeremy is described as standing 5'6″ tall and weighs around 160 pounds. Abilene man still missing 2 weeks after disappearing from night club, search party on Friday
ABILENE, Texas () – An Abilene man is still missing 2 weeks after he disappeared from a night club, and a search party will be taking place Friday in hopes of finding him. Jeremy Neves was last seen leaving the club late Thursday, April 3 and did not show up for work the next day. Detectives have received tips that Neves may have been involved in a crash after leaving the club and are currently investigating these reports. A search party for Neves will be taking place at Lake Ft. Phantom Hill in Abilene Friday, April 18. The first group will search from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and a second group will search from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Organizers of the search party are telling participants to, 'meet and sign in at Johnson Park, there will be a red pop up tent and table. Abilene police investigate missing person's case
The Abilene Police Department is investigating a missing Abilene man who was last seen Thursday. Jeremy Neves, 25, was last seen leaving Guitars and Cadillacs, 3881 Vine St., in a light tan 2002 Oldsmobile Alero, according to a relative's Facebook post. There has been no cell phone activity since that time, and Neves's family has made efforts to check hospitals and correctional facilities and has submitted a missing person's report, the April 5 post said. Rick Tomlin, APD public information coordinator, said a family member contacted police on April 4, reporting that Neves did not show up to work and they could not get in contact with him. Neves' family has kept in contact with the police department, Tomlin said. APD's youth division detectives are aware of this case and are in charge of the investigation, Tomlin said. If anyone has any information regarding Jeremy Neves, contact the APD non-emergency number at 673-8331, police requested.
