A new video shows a rescue team saving a father and daughter from the ocean after the daughter fell off a cruise ship, prompting her dad to jump into the ocean in an attempt to rescue her. According to Fox News, the rescue occurred on Sunday while the Disney Cruise Line's Disney Dream was returning from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In a statement obtained by Fox News, a Disney Cruise Line spokesperson said, 'The Crew aboard the Disney Dream swiftly rescued two guests from the water. We commend our Crew Members for their exceptional skills and prompt actions, which ensured the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes.' According to Fox News, a rescue team deployed a rescue boat and launched life rings into the water after the father and daughter went overboard. The outlet confirmed that no injuries were reported from the cruise ship incident. A girl fell overboard from the 4th deck & her dad went in after her. Right after the incident we heard on the loud speaker MOB Port side!! Thankfully the DCL rescue team was on it immediately and both were saved!' According to CBS News, Laura Amador, a passenger on the Disney cruise ship, described the incident, saying, 'The ship was moving quickly, so quickly, it's crazy how quickly the people became tiny dots in the sea, and then you lost sight of them. The captain slowed the ship and turned it around, and then they deployed a tender ship with people on it to go get them, and we saw them rescue the dad and daughter.' "Right after the incident, we heard on the loudspeaker, 'MOB [man overboard] Port Side. Thankfully, the rescue team was on it immediately and both were saved." Passenger Breanne Elaine added: "I was also on this ship when it happened. I can't speak highly enough of the Disney rescue crew. Follow the rules on the boat and you will be fine. Thanking God for the miracle of both this child and her father being saved from the waters."
