According to Fox News, the rescue occurred on Sunday while the Disney Cruise Line's Disney Dream was returning from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In a statement obtained by Fox News, a Disney Cruise Line spokesperson said, 'The Crew aboard the Disney Dream swiftly rescued two guests from the water. We commend our Crew Members for their exceptional skills and prompt actions, which ensured the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes.' According to Fox News, a rescue team deployed a rescue boat and launched life rings into the water after the father and daughter went overboard. The outlet confirmed that no injuries were reported from the cruise ship incident. Thankfully the DCL rescue team was on it immediately and both were saved!' According to CBS News, Laura Amador, a passenger on the Disney cruise ship, described the incident, saying, 'The ship was moving quickly, so quickly, it's crazy how quickly the people became tiny dots in the sea, and then you lost sight of them.
