Glens thrash Reds to reach County Antrim Cup last four
Holders Glentoran roared into the semi-finals of the County Antrim Cup as they thrashed Cliftonville 6-0 at Glens raced into a 5-0 lead at half-time and added another in the second half to complete the dominant win against the Women's Premiership Turner's side went ahead early in north Belfast through a stunning long-range effort from Emma Crompton volleyed home a second from close range before Aimee Kerr tucked home a Moore scored a fourth after a corner dropped to her in the box with Crompton netting her second and Glentoran's fifth before the O'Neill diverted Demi Vance's cross into her own net for the away side's sixth and final goal.

Linfield stay top of Women's Premiership with big win
Linfield hammered Crusaders Strikers 6-0 to remain top of the Women's Premiership table ahead of Glentoran. The Glens defeated Derry City 4-2 to stay one point behind the Blues with a game in hand. Lisburn Rangers defeated winless Larne 3-1 in Friday's other fixture. Cliftonville were not in action as they prepare for their Champions League Group Six game against Georgian opponents Lanchkhuti on Saturday in Prishtina. Eva Myles netted a quick-fire hat-trick in the first half as Linfield blew Crusaders away at Seaview. Zoe McGlynn added a fourth before Eve Reilly and Cora Chambers rounded out the emphatic win. Glentoran, who play their game in hand against Larne on Monday, kept the pressure on their title rivals with a 4-2 win away to Derry City. Jess Foy and Rachel Rogan put the visitors into a two-goal lead but Tara O'Connor-Farren pulled a goal back for Derry. Kascie Weir soon restored the Glens' two-goal margin, but the hosts hit back again through O'Connor-Farren's second of the game. However, Rogan netted her second of the game to secure a big three points on the road for Kim Turner's side. Lisburn Rangers moved back into the top half of the table with a 3-1 win away to Larne. Tierna Bell opened the scoring for Lisburn but the hosts levelled through Kirsty Cameron. However, Rangers retook the lead with 15 minutes left through Gracie Conway and Abbie Smyth secured the win.

The east Belfast side were beaten 3-1 by Bohemians in the quarter-finals of the All-Island Cup on Saturday having thrown away a 2-0 half-time advantage against Cliftonville in the Women's League Cup final the week before. Advertisement But they exacted a measure of revenge for the latter of those two defeats when goals in each half from Jessica Foy and Demi Vance ensured a sixth win from six games in league action this season. In a meeting of the two sides who have shared the past five league titles, Foy opened the scoring just past the half-hour mark as she controlled a free-kick floated into the box and calmly slotted home. Vance doubled the visitors' advantage after the break when coming forward off the left flank and finishing well after a move across the box. Kim Turner's side are two points clear of second-place Linfield with Cliftonville a further three back, although the Blues have played a game more.
