She walked away with RM2,000 and a trophy, while Keyrolina Roger (right) and Joshua Eleazar Jalani (left) secured second and third place with RM1,500 and RM1,000 respectively. In the Songkotoun (veteran) category, Hillary Petrus emerged as the winner, followed by Nuramah @ Doreen Watuna and Clarice Nian Manja in second and third place. Katelyn Aezell Fryenly topped the Dazanak (junior) category, with Nur Arisha Natasha Danius and Eidven Jay Jackles placing second and third. KIULU: The 2025 Tuaran District-Level Kaamatan Festival saw 15 Unduk Ngadau finalists compete for the honour of representing Tuaran, Tamparuli and Kiulu at the State-level grand finale later this month. The event, held at Dewan Masyarakat Kiulu, drew more than 1,000 attendees and featured a full day of cultural festivities from 7am to 6.30pm. Visitors enjoyed traditional food, music, dance, games and exhibitions celebrating Kadazandusun, Murut and Rungus (KDM) heritage. Tati April Adelaide Agedius, 25, was crowned Unduk Ngadau Tuaran, while Tati Atitih Yati Robert, 26, and Tati Celarin Jenny, 25, were named Unduk Ngadau for Tamparuli and Kiulu, respectively. All three main winners each took home RM10,000 in cash along with a crown, trophy, certificate and treatment and beauty vouchers. First runner-up Tati Sera Vian Japrin, 24, took home RM3,000 along with a trophy, certificate and vouchers. Tati Betty Mary Jaikol, 28, placed third, received RM2,000 and similar prizes.
