City experiences driest April in nine years as temperature rises
Ludhiana continues to experience adverse weather conditions, recording the lowest monthly rainfall in April in nine years. Meanwhile, the city witnessed higher average day temperatures almost every month, with April temperatures being the highest in three years. The average minimum monthly temperature for Ludhiana in April was also the highest in three years. According to the Met department's recent report for April, monthly rainfall in Ludhiana was 0.5 millimetres, indicating a 97% deficit in rainfall.
