Kuwait beach volleyball team heads to Doha for the West Asian Championship
KUWAIT CITY, May 6: The Kuwait beach volleyball team has departed for Doha to compete in the inaugural West Asian Championship, scheduled to take place from May 5 to 10. Issa Al-Saleem leads the delegation and includes women's team administrator Amal Al-Faraj and national team coach Ahmed Abdul-Razzaq. Representing Kuwait in the men's competition are Team A, featuring Abdulwahab Talib and Jassim Al-Sabbagh, and Team B, comprised of Nawaf Talal and Ibrahim Diaa. The women's Team A includes Al-Ghadeer Al-Sayegh and Dana Mansour, while Team B consists of Munira Yousef and Halima Abdullah. Delegation head Issa Al-Saleem expressed confidence in the team's potential, despite the limited preparation period, which featured intensive daily training sessions on the Green Island courts. He praised the dedication of both the technical staff and the players in working to ensure the team is ready for this important regional event. Al-Saleem also extended his gratitude to the Kuwait Volleyball Federation for its continued support of the national beach volleyball program.

Kuwait beach volleyball teams finalize preparations for the West Asia Championship
KUWAIT CITY, April 29: Kuwait's national beach volleyball teams are intensifying their daily training sessions on the Green Island courts ahead of the West Asia Championship, scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar, from May 5 to 10. The national delegation is competing in the tournament with four teams. The men's side features Abdulwahab Talib and Jassim Al-Sabbagh (Team 1), and Nawaf Talal and Ibrahim Diaa (Team 2). The women's teams include Al-Ghadeer Al-Sayegh and Dana Mansour, along with Munira Yousef and Halima Abdullah. The technical staff is led by head coach Ahmed Abdulrazzaq, with Issa Al-Saleem serving as the men's team administrator and Amal Al-Faraj managing the women's squad. The teams recently took part in the Third Gulf Beach Games, where the duo of Talib and Al-Sabbagh achieved a respectable fifth-place finish. Issa Al-Saleem praised the team's intensive preparations, emphasizing the commitment of the Kuwait Volleyball Federation and the national team management to equip the players for high-level performance. 'We aim to deliver a strong showing in the West Asia Championship and contend for top positions, despite the sport's recent absence from domestic competition,' Al-Saleem said. 'We have a skilled technical team and ambitious players who are motivated to compete at their best. With continued support from the Federation, we are determined to give our all in Doha.'
