Where ESPN ranks Alabama basketball in way-too-early 2025-26 Top 25 rankings

Where ESPN ranks Alabama basketball in way-too-early 2025-26 Top 25 rankings With a national champion now officially decided, the attention across college basketball now begins to shift toward the 2025-26 season, one that is shaping up to be yet another strong one for the Alabama Crimson Tide. This thought has already been echoed across college basketball as well, as Alabama currently projects to be one of the nation's top preseason teams in 2025-26, with USA TODAY Sports ranking the Crimson Tide at No. 6 nationally. However, what about ESPN, who released their way-too-early Top 25 on Tuesday morning? Well, ESPN currently has Alabama ranked as the nation's No. 11 team in their way-too-early rankings, which is the third-highest of any SEC team behind No. 6 Kentucky and No. 7 Arkansas. ESPN's Jeff Borzello also commented on the Crimson Tide entering the offseason, saying of their No. 11 ranking: "We just assume Nate Oats will make the right decisions in the transfer portal this spring, considering the Crimson Tide have figured it out seemingly every offseason. Labaron Philon is an NBA decision to watch, but Aden Holloway and a healthy Latrell Wrightsell Jr. should form a solid backcourt. The Tide have also already landed three transfers: Noah Williamson (Bucknell), Taylor Bol Bowen (Florida State) and Jalil Bethea (Miami). They're not done yet, either." Borzello also projects the Crimson Tide's starting lineup to consist of Aden Holloway, Latrell Wrightsell Jr., Derrion Reid, Jarin Stevenson, and Noah Williamson. The Crimson Tide are still awaiting decisions from both Reid and Stevenson as to if they will return to Alabama next season. Prediction and betting odds for Alabama vs. Auburn in Top 10 rivalry rematch

Prediction and betting odds for Alabama vs. Auburn in Top 10 rivalry rematch Having lost their last two games, the Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team will be back in action Saturday afternoon to close out the SEC regular season, facing the in-state rival Auburn Tigers in what will be their seventh consecutive contest against a ranked opponent, as well as third-straight against a top five foe. Two teams ranked within the Top 10 nationally at the moment, Alabama and Auburn previously met just a few weeks ago in Tuscaloosa, a game that the Tigers won by a final score of 94-85 in what was a matchup between No. 1 and No. 2. As for this version of the rivalry however, the game shifts now to Auburn where the No. 1 ranked Tigers will host an Alabama team that has lost two-straight. Auburn has also already wrapped up the SEC regular season title, while Alabama will be playing for both seeding in the SEC and NCAA Tournament. Alabama's final game of the regular season, here are the latest betting odds for Saturday's ranked game between the Crimson Tide and Tigers as of Friday, Mar. 7. Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers game odds: All college basketball odds via BetMGM: Spread: Auburn (-7.5) Auburn (-7.5) Money Line: Alabama (+260), Auburn (-325) Alabama (+260), Auburn (-325) Over-Under: 177.5 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers injury updates: According to the SEC Men's Basketball Availability Report as of Friday, Mar. 7: Alabama Crimson Tide Latrell Wrightsell Jr., Guard - Out Derrion Reid, Forward - Out Houston Mallette, Guard - Out Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers prediction, pick: Playing in Auburn, Alabama has historically not had as much success inside of Neville Arena in recent years, winning only three of the last 10 meetings dating back to the 2014-15 season. As for this year's meeting, Auburn is certainly the favorite going into Saturday afternoon, and these two teams should play a close, high-scoring contest in which a victory is a possibility for both teams. Prediction: Alabama 84, Auburn 88 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers channel, start time, streaming: Alabama vs. Auburn will take place Saturday, Mar. 8, from Neville Arena in Auburn, Alabama. Prediction and betting odds for Alabama vs. Florida in Top 10 matchup

Prediction and betting odds for Alabama vs. Florida in Top 10 matchup One of the biggest games of the Alabama Crimson Tide's 2024-25 season so far has now officially arrived, as the program is set to play the final game inside Coleman Coliseum this year against the Florida Gators in SEC action. A pair of Top 10 teams, Alabama and Florida are currently tied for second play in the SEC standings at 12-4 against conference foes, meaning that seeding for the upcoming SEC Tournament is on the line here. However, that is not all up for grabs Wednesday night between the Crimson Tide and Gators either. In addition to that, Alabama and Florida are also both playing for seeding in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, with the Crimson Tide and Gators in consideration to eventually receive a one-seed on Selection Sunday, and if it were to come down to both for a spot on the one-line, the eventual winner of this game could go a long way in deciding that. Here are the latest betting odds for the Alabama vs. Florida game as of Tuesday night, Mar. 4, as well as a prediction for the matchup. Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Florida Gators game odds: All college basketball odds via BetMGM: Point Spread: Alabama (-3.5) Alabama (-3.5) Money Line: Alabama (-170), Florida (+140) Alabama (-170), Florida (+140) Over-Under: 177.5 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Florida Gators injury updates: According to the SEC Men's Basketball Availability Report on Tuesday night: Alabama Crimson Tide Latrell Wrightsell Jr., Guard - Out Derrion Reid, Forward - Out Houston Mallette, Guard - Out Grant Nelson, Forward - Questionable Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Florida Gators prediction, pick: As mentioned above, this is a massive game in terms of SEC and NCAA Tournament seeding for both teams, and as the matchup is taking place in Tuscaloosa, I'll go with Alabama to win here in front of what will be a raucous crowd in Coleman Coliseum. The winner of this game secures a double-bye in the SEC Tournament, as well as increases their chances for a one-seed in March Madness, and I'll say Alabama bounces back from their loss Saturday with a win at home. Prediction: Alabama 85, Florida 80 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Florida Gators channel, start time, streaming: Alabama vs. Florida is set to be played Wednesday, Mar. 5 from inside of Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Get more betting analysis and predictions at Sportsbook Wire.
