Sienna Miller, 43, turns heads in white midi dress as she join Alexa Chung, 41, and Jo Wood, 70, at Fran Cutler's birthday bash
Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung and Jo Wood cut casual figures in jeans and jackets as they arrived at Fran Cutler's birthday bash at Nexus Club London on Thursday. Actress Sienna, 43, looked effortlessly chic as she arrived at the celebrations wearing a white slip dress under a brown woollen jumper. Putting on a leggy display, she paired her slit silky one piece with a pair of chunky brown leather knee-high boots. The blonde beauty toted around her belongings in a silver-grey leather tote bag as she styled her luminous tresses into loose beach waves. Model Alexa, 41, channelled 90s style trends in a pair of low-cropped jeans, which she paired with a lacey black top which was hooked in the center of her midriff. She layered a long leather, fur-lined black coat over the skimpy top as she added inches to her statuesque frame with a pair of black pointed heels. Meanwhile, TV personality Jo, 70, put on a floral display as she stepped out in a black, pink and green jacket which she layered over a casual, loose-fitting black bodysuit. She kept her accessories to a minimum for the outing, as she wore two dainty necklaces and a handful of gold rings. Meanwhile, PR supremo Fran, 62, who has had a rocky relationship with her formal best pal Kate Moss over the years, commanded attention in a pair of thigh-high leather lace-up boots. The former socialite paired her towering boots with a skimpy silky black dress as she celebrated her big night with some of London's biggest A-listers. Sienna's outing comes after she has been seen looking smitten with her younger boyfriend, Oli Green, in recent months. The Layer Cake actress and the Bridget Jones star, 28, have been spotted at some of the biggest events of the year, including Paris Fashion Week. The happy couple welcomed their first child together in 2023. Speaking to Harper's Bazaar about Oli, Sienna said: 'I didn't expect to take it seriously and then quite quickly, I fell in love. I wasn't like, 'I'm gonna get a younger boyfriend.' It was more, 'F*ck! Why are you young? That's so annoying'.' 'There is a difference in the way that generation of men respect women. It's specific to him, he is very wise and well-adjusted, but I do believe it's also that generation. 'They have grown up with a slightly more level playing field. I see it in his female friends as well as in the men.' Sienna previously dated Tom Sturridge for four years and split in 2015. They are still on good terms, with Sienna calling Tom her 'best friend' whilst they co-parent their daughter Marlowe, 12. Sienna has given her seal of approval for her ex and Alexa and in December told Vogue UK: 'I'm really happy for them. It's genuinely lovely.' The actress even joked about their co-parenting situation and revealed that their daughter Marlowe has brought one of Alexa's jumpers home, which she has since claimed for herself. Sienna quipped: 'I've got one upstairs!' Following their split in 2015, it was claimed Sienna and Tom had different goals. A source said: 'Tom wanted to get married and have more children. Sienna didn't. Last year Alexa and Tom sparked engagement speculation when they were seen wearing matching rings. The son of award-winning film director Charles Sturridge, Tom seems open to marriage, while Alexa for her part, previously mused: 'I just don't get why marriage is different from non-marriage — I just don't get it.' Meanwhile Sienna welcomed their first child together last year after they started dating in 2022.

Ex-England bowler James Anderson awarded knighthood in Sunak's resignation list
Former England cricketer James Anderson has been awarded a knighthood in Rishi Sunak's resignation honours list. Sir James, who retired from test cricket in July having taken more wickets than any fast bowler in test history, is joined on the list by a number of Tory politicians who received peerages and knighthoods. Former education and housing secretary Michael Gove was confirmed to have been given a seat in the House of Lords after being heavily tipped for a peerage. Mr Gove, who is now the editor of the Spectator magazine, has served in the cabinet of four prime ministers. Jeremy Hunt, the chancellor in Mr Sunak's cabinet, and ex-foreign secretary James Cleverly were awarded knighthoods. There were also knighthoods for former defence secretary Grant Shapps and ex-work and pensions secretary Mel Stride. Elsewhere, Matthew Vaughn, the filmmaker behind Layer Cake, Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class, and the Kingsman films was also awarded a knighthood for his services to the creative industries. The former Tory Cabinet minister, who now edits The Spectator magazine, stepped down as an MP after nearly 20 years in Parliament last summer. He is one of the most high-profile Tory figures of recent times, having held a string of top level jobs under four prime ministers. The 57-year-old is perhaps best known for his divisive stint as education secretary from 2010 to 2014, when he oversaw a major shake-up of the schools system. He went on to serve in five other Cabinet roles, including as environment secretary, justice secretary and housing secretary. A prominent Brexit campaigner, he also famously fell out with Boris Johnson after kiboshing his first leadership campaign in 2016. The list, released on Friday, also confirmed peerages for Mark Harper, the former transport secretary, Sir Alister Jack, the former Scottish secretary, and Simon Hart, the former Tory chief whip. Others to be elevated to the House of Lords include Stephen Massey, the former chief executive of the Conservative Party, and Victoria Prentis, the former attorney general. Nerissa Chesterfield, his former press secretary, has been made a CBE, along with Cassian Horowitz, a former special adviser. Other former Sunak aides to be made CBEs include Will Tanner, the former head of operations at No 10, and Rupert Yorke, who was Mr Sunak's deputy chief of staff. Mr Sunak has also awarded OBEs to a number of his former aides, including Lucy Noakes, another former press secretary.
