Whether it's chicken nuggets or a box of tacos, the Taco Bell menu has a bit of everything and is soon getting more. On Tuesday, the company had its Live Más LIVE event, during which Taco Bell presented some of the new foods and drinks it has coming soon: For the cheese heads, there's the Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupa with a layer of crispy cheese on the outside and a new Chile Lime Crema Sauce on the inside. What they're facing Devoted fans of the Beefy Crunch Burrito with Flamin' Hot Fritos were excited to hear it's coming back, and this time with "Flamin' Hot" seasoning in the rice. There was also good news for the Baja Blast devotees. A new flavor of the drink is coming out called Baja Blast Midnight highlighting a passion fruit burst. They are also looking at bringing back the Baja Blast Pie around Thanksgiving. Another spin on a favorite is the Chicken Nuggets which will come back twice this year and offer a new Mike's Hot Honey Diablo Sauce. Similarly, Taco Bell will start offering Chicken Strips. Then there's the Rolled Poblano Quesadilla with chicken, steak, and poblano peppers as well as the Grilled Cheese Burrito with Shredded Beef. Remember the Decades Menu? They are planning to bring that one back too, but focused on menu items from the early 2000's and 2010's: Chili Cheese Burrito Caramel Apple Empanada Doritos Locos Tacos Double Decker Seven Layer Burrito During the event, Taco Bell introduced "Fan Style," a new function of the Taco Bell app. The concept is, if you tend to order something custom, you can save your custom dish in the app, name it, and share that customizations with others. Users will also be rewarded for others ordering their customizations, but there are no details on how that will work. Currently, Taco Bell's drink menu is largely limited to soft drinks. But the company is looking to change that with Live Más Café, a new model of beverage-focused restaurants featuring 30 drink possibility from dirty sodas and specialty coffees to Agua Refrescas and "Churro Chillers." Taco Bell Is Putting A Spin (And Heat) On Its Quesadilla In 2025
It's been less than 24 hours since the Taco Bell Live Más LIVE fan experience, and we still haven't recovered. Between getting to hang out with the people who run the Bell from day to day and getting to taste-test upcoming food items, the event must have been like Cinderella's ball for folks obsessed with drive-thru Tex-Mex (in other words, everything they've ever dreamed of). Luckily, for those who couldn't make it, the video is available on YouTube. When Taco Bell CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) Taylor Montgomery burst onto the stage with a hilarious, high-energy roll call of all the Taco Bell menu items coming in 2025, we weren't expecting to have our jaws dropped by a fresh take on the quesadilla. First, Montgomery recounted recent limited-time menu hits, like the currently available birthday cake churros that are a collab with Milk Bar. Then, he dropped the bombshell: 2025 is going to be the year of carne asada at Taco Bell. You can soon expect a Carne Asada Poblano Rolled Quesadilla that is guaranteed to be your new, spicy obsession. It looks a bit more like a burrito than the flat quesadilla style you know and love, and there's a piquant surprise on the inside: a green poblano pepper! Read more: The Best Themed Restaurants To Put On Your Travel Bucket List Montgomery made the very salient point that "the quesadilla is perfect no matter how you eat it," whether you choose to "roll it, flip it, [or] fold it." Taco Bell took that rolling step to heart and paired grilled marinated steak, a three-cheese blend, and a spicy pepper to make a crave-able spin on quesadillas that we already can't wait to try. No word on when the rolled quesadillas are coming to a Bell near you, but Live Más LIVE attendees got to exclusively sample it for the first time, proving the adage that some people have all the luck. Like the normal quesadilla, the new item is made with a flour tortilla, which excludes it from Taco Bell's limited gluten-free menu. Like you, we're fiends for a saucy moment, and we're already picturing the dipping possibilities that a rolled quesadilla invites. Queso? Guacamole? The new hot honey Diablo sauce that Montgomery mentioned? Yes, yes, and yes! Until we see an announcement that the Carne Asada Poblano Rolled Quesadilla is ready to be ordered, however, we'll have to stick to our normal tricks like the viral hack of creating folded quesadillas in the toaster. It'll work for now, but we're on tenterhooks waiting for the cheesy, beefy, spicy Taco Bell version, to be sure. Read the original article on Foodie.
