Luka Doncic's weight loss draws attention after Dallas Mavericks reveals reason for his release

However, he appears thinner this season. Nevertheless, he faced intense criticism for his physical structure while playing for the Dallas Mavericks. Now, recently, the team's management cited his weight issue as the reason behind his release from the team. Meanwhile, with a stunning offseason makeover, the Slovenian star has joined his home team for EuroBasket 2025 and put an end to these comments and criticism. Lakers were unexpectedly knocked out of the playoffs in the opening round. He apparently worked out day and night and shed around thirty-one pounds. He also acknowledged that he supposedly consumes one protein drink and two high-protein meals every day of the week. He also gave credit to his weight and agility training, along with a low-sugar, gluten-free diet. Now, he is fit and fine, ready to help the Slovenian team in the EuroBasket 2025.
