Scarlett Johansson Crashed Colin Jost and Michael Che's Season Finale Joke Swap
Colin Jost in bright red lipstick, an apology for a certain "roast beef" quip, and more: The Season 50 finale installment of Weekend Update's semi-annual joke swap had everything — including an appearance by Host Scarlett Johansson. The actress, who just happens to be Jost's wife, got a (forced) apology from Michael Che for a crack he made Jost say during the Christmas joke swap. But Che found plenty of other ways to have fun at Jost's expense this time around. As always, Jost and Che kicked things off by explaining that they'd be reading jokes the other wrote for them to read. "But before we start, it's SNL's 50th season, so I want to take a moment to say something to our boss, Lorne Michaels: Lorne, retire, b----! Let me run the show," Jost said reluctantly, meaning the game was already duo proceeded to dutifully tell the others' off-color jokes about a variety of topics, before they were joined by a guest: Johansson, who'd been a part of their previous outing in December 2024 via a reaction cam. "You know, before I tell another joke, I want to take this opportunity to apologize to someone I hurt," Che read off the cue cards. "Scarlett, can you come out here?" Johansson obliged, walking out in jeans and a maroon blouse to hear what he had to say. After interjecting an "I don't like this," Che read his Jost-penned apology to Johansson for making fun of her anatomy, explaining he "was just lashing out because I'm jealous." Jost also made Che say he has "more nipples than a pregnant dog." "Yes, I have heard that about you," Johansson nodded."And, Colin, I'm sorry, too, because I owe you everything," Che continued. "When Colin discovered me, I was selling crack outside the Bronx Zoo. And now look at me: selling crack outside the American Girl doll store! I've told thousands of jokes on Update and gotten dozens of laughs, but I've never said the three most important words of all — I love you." Perfectly reacting in the moment to a command to apply lipstick, Jost closed things out with one last desperate succession plea to Lorne Michaels. SNL comedian Michael Che apologises to Scarlett Johansson for crude vagina joke as she gets payback
It's payback time. Scarlett Johansson and her husband, Colin Jost, got revenge against Michael Che on Saturday Night Live after he compared her vagina to roast beef last December. During the comedians' 'Weekend Update' segment, Jost and Che swapped jokes they wrote for one another. 'Before I tell another joke, I wanna take this opportunity to apologise to someone I hurt,' the Top Five actor, 41, said, prompting the Black Widow actress, 40, to appear onstage. 'Last time we did joke swaps, I made Colin do some tasteless jokes, comparing your vagina to Costco roast beef,' Che continued. Johansson sarcastically replied: 'Yes, I remember that.' The That Damn Michael Che star then said, per the joke written for him by his SNL co-star, 'I was just lashing out because I'm jealous. 'I've never seen a human vagina. Notice I said human, because I once spent a summer on a farm.' Jost, 42, then made Che read jokes about him not being able to take his hoodie off during sex because he has 'more nipples than a pregnant dog.' Johansson added, 'Yes, I have heard that about you.' Last December, Che made Jost read a vulgar joke about his wife's post-partum lady parts when they swapped quips during their weekly sketch comedy segment. 'I want to dedicate this next joke to my boo, Scarlett Johansson,' the comedian hesitantly said, as the camera cut to the Marvel star, who was watching from backstage. 'Costco has removed their roast beef sandwich from its menu, but I ain't tripping. I be eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid … Nah, nah, I just playin' baby. You know I don't go downtown! Shiz! That's gay as hell!' he added. Johansson's mouth dropped open while listening to her husband's lines. The following month, the Pop Culture Jeopardy! host said the Avengers: Endgame actress was 'obviously surprised' when she heard their quips. 'I'm in trouble, I think, with a lot of people,' he said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January. 'Scarlett was genuinely so shocked,' he shared, adding that the SNL team gave her a heads-up. 'They were like, 'Hey, would you be OK if Michael [Che] made a little, like, kind of vagina joke at some point?'' he recalled. 'She was like, 'Sure, you know, whatever, I'm open to it.'' However, Jost confessed he 'didn't know where it was going, and then the graphic came up for Arby's.' Jost and Johansson met on the set of SNL when the actress hosted an episode in 2017. They tied the knot three years later. They are parents to three-year-old son Cosmo, whom they welcomed in August 2021. The Lucy star is also a mum to daughter Rose, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband and French journalist Romain Dauriac.

Scarlett Johansson Makes Michael Che Squirm As She Gets 'SNL' Revenge
Scarlett Johansson found the perfect way to make Michael Che eat his words during this weekend's episode on 'Saturday Night Live.' During the return of the 'Weekend Update' Joke Swapping bit, the Marvel star had Che read off the most mortifying apology for a 'tasteless' quip he had her husband, Colin Jost, tell about her private parts late last year. 'The fact is, I was just lashing out because I'm jealous,' he said, barely able to keep a straight face. 'I've never ever seen a human vagina. And notice I said 'human' because I once spent the summer on a farm.' 'Maybe I'm just embarrassed about my own body,' the fake news anchor continued. 'I can't even take my hoodie off during sex because I have more nipples than a pregnant dog.' Then turning to Jost, Che forced himself to say, 'I've told thousands of jokes on 'Update' and gotten dozens of laughs, but I've never said the three most important words of all: I love you.' The humiliating bit was payback for last December's 'Saturday Night Live' joke swap, when Jost announced Costco was removing the roast beef sandwich from its menu and then said, 'But I ain't trippin', I've been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid.' Backstage cameras caught Johansson reacting to the crude quip in real time, and she knew she Che had to get his comeuppance. She teased her plan in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, telling the magazine, 'I feel like it's almost my responsibility to come up with some way to burn Michael back. Retaliation, I'd say, should be expected.' Scarlett Johansson gets revenge on SNL's Michael Che as he apologizes for THAT vulgar joke about her body
Scarlett Johansson got revenge on SNL star Michael Che as he offered her an apology live on air after penning a vulgar joke about her body late last year. The Black Widow actress, 40, took on hosting duties for the seventh time on the season 50 finale of the sketch comedy series - and appeared alongside husband and SNL comedian Colin Jost in a few skits. She made a brief cameo during the Weekend Update segment which Jost and Che co-host together. Late last year, the pair took part in a tradition where they read jokes they have never seen before that the other wrote. Colin shared a joke written by Michael and explained Costco had taken the roast beef sandwich off their menu. He then added, 'I've been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kids.' At the time, Johansson had been backstage and her shocked reaction was caught on camera and later admitted that she thought she was going to 'faint' upon hearing it. But in the latest episode, Jost and Che took part in the tradition by reading each other's jokes - which came to a stop when Michael suddenly asked Johansson to join them on the set. 'Before I tell another joke, I want to take this opportunity to apologize to someone I hurt,' Michael said. 'Scarlett, can you come out here?' The actress appeared by the comedian's side with a small smile on her face and then took a seat. 'Last time we did jokes live, I made Colin do some tasteless jokes comparing your vagina to Costco roast beef,' Che expressed, causing Scarlett to press her lips together while sending him a look. She then smiled and told him, 'Yes I remember that.' He explained, 'Well, the fact is I was just lashing out because I'm jealous. I've never even seen a human vagina.' Johansson kept a composed expression as Michael continued, 'And notice I said human. Because I once spent the summer on a farm. You feel me? 'Maybe I'm just embarrassed about my own body. I can't even take my hoodie off during sex because I have more nipples than a pregnant dog.' 'Last time we did jokes live, I made Colin do some tasteless jokes comparing your vagina to Costco roast beef,' Che expressed, causing Scarlett to press her lips together while sending him a look After the audience responded with laughter at the joke, Scarlett replied, 'Yes, I have heard that about you.' When the Weekend Update sketch came to an end, Che and Johansson further proved that there were no hard feelings when the pair shared a friendly embrace. During an interview with InStyle a few months earlier in March, The Avengers actress got candid about her reaction upon hearing the joke live. 'It was so vulgar. I just can't believe that they went there. I was like... it was so gross, it was really gross. And, like, old-school gross.' Johansson shared that she had been giving a heads up about a 'vagina joke' but did not have any idea that she would be referred to. 'I was like, I mean, it's a vagina joke, how bad could it be? And then as soon as the Costco photo came up, I was like, "No! No, Michael!"' she remembered. In regards to her reaction being shown backstage, Scarlett revealed that it had been 'so intense.' 'All of a sudden, it was like a whole bunch of people holding up lights, and a guy with a video camera,' she recalled, before adding: 'They were waiting for me to react. I felt insane. I was like, "I think I'm going to faint."' Scarlett kicked off the season 50 finale episode with her monologue - and was joined by most of the SNL cast on the stage as they sung for the live audience Scarlett kicked off the season 50 finale episode with her monologue - and was joined by most of the SNL cast on the stage as they sung for the live audience. 'It's been a historic season. I'm so proud to be a part of it,' the star said, and then joked, 'I first hosted this show when I was 21-years-old, so it's crazy to be back here like what, three years later.' Johansson then began singing about the finale to the tune of Billy Joel's hit track Piano Man. Cast members such as Bowen Yang, Sarah Sherman and Ego Nwodim also sang lyrics of their own. At one point, they decided to call on live audience members and Johansson picked on Kenan Thompson who was sitting amongst the crowd. 'Could you introduce me to a dinosaur?' he asked, referencing to her upcoming film Jurassic World Rebirth. In response, the actress sang, 'I'm sorry that I called on you.' The monologue concluded as Scarlett and the cast that had joined her on stage belted out, 'The 50th season is through/it's lasted forever we did it together/and we got to spend it with you.' Johansson had the chance to show off her comedic skills in a number of skits throughout the night, including one where she was also joined by husband Colin Jost. It began inside the SNL offices with Scarlett chatting with Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardner. The actress explained that she loved Colin but added, 'We're really happy. But it's normal to have little crushes here and there. Especially on someone from the cast.' She then revealed that she has a crush on SNL comedian Bowen Yang but said, 'Nothing's obviously going to happen. I'm married, he's gay.' However, Ego and Heidi insisted that Bowen was straight. The pre-recorded sketch then cut to Scarlett entering an elevator with Jost who was asking how her time with the SNL cast was going. Bowen then appeared and complimented Jost before asking him, 'Do you mind leaving?' Colin happily agreed to do so and said, 'Yeah, no problem. I'll take the stairs. It's only 30 flights.' He then left, leaving his wife and Bowen alone inside the elevator. After a few flirtatious exchanges, the two began passionately kissing inside one of the rooms inside the building. Yang then told Johansson to meet him later at 2am at his apartment where he will cook her dinner. The pre-recorded sketch then cut to Scarlett entering an elevator with Jost who was asking how her time with the SNL cast was going That same night, she arrived to his house only to discover that he had been sleeping with both Ego and Heidi. After they briefly argue, Bowen exclaimed, 'Screw it, I'm going to Tokyo. Thanks for inventing A.I., by the way.' Johansson watched as Yang met someone outside of his apartment and realized it was supermodel Emily Ratajkowski which concluded the skit. Austin Powers actor Mike Myers also made a surprise cameo in one of the sketches during the finale. It took place as he stepped into an elevator that also had Scarlett and SNL comedian Marcello Hernandez already standing inside. Hernandez shared that he was a fan before stepping out onto his floor, leaving Johansson and Myers alone inside the elevator. She played a character named Janice who was also a big fan of the star and she told him, 'I'm Janice, and I love all your movies. My girlfriends and I quote Shrek all the time.' He replied, 'Oh, thank you. That's a little weird. But thank you. Thank you. Very nice.' After they briefly argue, Bowen exclaimed, 'Screw it, I'm going to Tokyo. Thanks for inventing A.I., by the way' Suddenly, they were joined by Kanye West - also known as Ye - who stepped onto the elevator. Kenan Thompson played the rapper - who has sparked controversy over his anti-Semitic rants and KKK comments on social media. The next stop was Scarlett's and Mike begged the actress to stay on the elevator. 'You can't leave me alone here with him,' the actor told her, but she replied with, 'I heard he's all right.' But Johansson ran out, and Myers and West struck up a conversation - which included the rapper correcting the star and emphasizing that his name was now Ye. The sketch also referenced to a moment in 2005 when both Mike and Kanye took part in a live telethon to raise funds for Hurricane Katrina relief. At one point, the music artist stated that then-President George W. Bush 'doesn't care about black people.' Another moment was when the elevator broke down and Myers suggested that they jump to see if that helps. 'No, man, I don't like doing crazy,' the rapper told the actor. The skit ended with Mike reaching his floor and quickly exiting. The skit ended with Mike reaching his floor and quickly exiting Bad Bunny was the musical guest for the finale episode but also made cameo appearances in two of the sketches. In one, he played Scarlett's boyfriend as they enjoyed a night out at a bar. At the same place, Ego Nwodim and Marcello Hernandez also played a couple - but he was trying to get out of the relationship. Johansson approached their table and explained that it was hers and Bad Bunny's since they have been going there for weeks. The women then demanded that their boyfriends fight for the table - and both Marcello and the Puerto Rican rapper began to yell at each other in Spanish. However, subtitles appeared on the screen and humorously revealed that they were both venting about being in relationships that they desperately want to get out of. Scarlett and Ego occasionally cut in to also yell at each other in Spanish, but when subtitles appeared - it showed that they were speaking random words in the language. Marcello and Bad Bunny ended up hugging which shocks their girlfriends. But the rapper lied to Scarlett and said that he told Marcello there was no reason to fight and that he should stay with his girlfriend. Both couples end up leaving the bar - despite both men having just vented about wanting to get out of the relationships. In one, he played Scarlett's boyfriend as they enjoyed a night out at a bar. The sketch began as the actress met up with the comedy group consisting of Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy at an SNL office. They looked downcast and she suggested that they take a trip - via first class - from NYC to New Jersey. However, amidst the flight, the plane experiences turbulence and technical difficulties, which caused everyone to begin to panic. The pilots attempted to call air traffic controller - and Bad Bunny answered, but revealed that it was his first day on the job and 'there's like no one here.' Eventually, the rapper was able to help the plane have a dramatic landing on the runway and they arrived safely in Newark. The skit ended as the music artist looked at the camera and said, 'You can do anything you put your mind to.' He belted out lyrics and recreated a famous photograph called Lunch Atop A Skyscraper which was taken of workers during the construction of the RCA Building. Bad Bunny also performed Perfumito Nuevo - and was joined by RaiNao as they sang the track. The set was decked out as a bathroom inside a club and the song concluded when the pair entered the same stall together.
