Keith Urban has appeared to abruptly end a radio interview after being asked a personal question about his wife Nicole Kidman's intimate career moments, but sources say the singer did not hang up. The Australian country music star was speaking on Mix 102.3 on Tuesday when hosts Max Burford and Hayley Pearson introduced a game called Wall of Truth, and reports claimed after Keith abruptly ended the chat when asked about his wife Nicole Kidman's latest raunchy sex scenes. "Keith did not hang up, period," a source told People. "He doesn't host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothing burger." Pearson described the supposedly controversial chat show section that allegedly prompted Urban to hang up as a segment where they ask guests "a very tricky" and "deeply personal" question. Burford began it by asking Urban: "When I was coming up with something to ask you, Keith Urban, if you happen to play this game, the first thing I thought of, with your beautiful wife Nicole Kidman being on so many great movies, TV shows all the time ... Keith Urban abruptly ended a live radio interview today, after an 'uncomfortable' question about wife Nicole Kidman came up. The Blue Ain't Your Color singer, 57, has been married to the Babygirl actress for nearly 20 years, and they have welcomed two daughters together in that time. The couple, who tied the knot in 2006, have kept much of their relationship behind closed doors, so the Grammy-winner didn't seem too thrilled when he was asked about watching some of the 58-year-old's steamiest sex scenes. During an appearance on Hayley & Max in the Morning, on Mix 102.3, things took a turn when he played a game with hosts Hayley Pearson and Max Burford. 'In our Wall of Truth, Keith, we often get put into this situation where we have to answer a very tricky question, deeply personal question,' Hayley informed him. 'I get really uncomfortable, to be honest, asking our beautiful guests something they might feel uncomfortable [answering].' Clearly in good spirits, Keith quickly interjected: 'What about the ugly ones?' 'Not you, Keith. No ugly guests on today,' Max replied, to which their guest could be heard laughing. 'The way the Wall of Truth works is that you just have to answer this question truthfully. 'When I was coming up with something to ask you, Keith Urban, if you're happy to play this game – the first thing I thought of, with your beautiful wife, Nicole Kidman, being on so many great movies, TV shows, all the time… 'I watched a movie with her and Zac Efron, A Family Affair.' 'Oh yeah, that's a good one,' the singer proudly praised. However, things took a turn when Max questioned: '[I thought], 'What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?'' The query was met with silence from Keith's end, before it was confirmed that he had left the call. 'He's just disconnected from Zoom,' a man – thought to be a producer – said. 'I think his team hung up on us because they didn't want us to ask that question.' 'That's 100 percent what's just happened,' Hayley remarked. 'I knew that would happen … We've upset him! He's gone. 'He doesn't like talking about his wife.' Nicole and Keith have been together since 2005, and walked down the aisle together the following year. They share daughters Sunday Rose and Faith together, while the Big Little Lies actress previously adopted children Bella and Connor with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Although they have kept much of their romance away from the spotlight, the Oscar-winner couldn't help but celebrate their 19-year wedding anniversary last month, sharing a loved-up snap on Instagram. Keith Urban has appeared to have hung up on an Adelaide radio show after being asked a question about his superstar wife's raunchy on-screen interactions with younger men. Speaking with Mix 102.3 hosts Max Burford and Hayley Pearson on Tuesday morning via zoom call, the country singer was complimented on his youthful appearance. 'I just want to say, you literally have not aged in 20 years. You look amazing,' Pearson said to Urban. Urban then took part in the radio show's 'Wall of Truth' segment, in which guests are posed a series of often personal and revealing questions. He was pressed about his wife and actress Nicole Kidman's raunchy scenes with younger actors such as Zac Efron, who Kidman starred alongside in 2024 film 'A Family Affair'. 'When I was coming up with something to ask you Keith Urban, if you're happy to play this game... I thought, what does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?' Burford asked the country singer. Urban was then suddenly disconnected from the call after he or someone on his team appeared to hang up, leaving the radio hosts bewildered, with Burford asking 'Oh, why has that happened? What's just happened?'. 'Did he just hang up on us?' Pearson questioned. The breakfast radio show crew then began to debate why the interview had abruptly ended. 'He doesn't like the personal stuff... oh I knew that would happen,' Pearson said. 'If you knew it was going to happen, why didn't you stop me asking the question?' Burford then asked his co-host. A producer on the radio show immediately tried contacting Urban's publicist as to what had happened, before saying "I may have gotten ghosted from the publicist". As well as her scenes with Efron in A Family Affair, Kidman also appeared in 'Babygirl' last year, where she portrayed a chief executive having an affair which a much younger intern. Kidman in March revealed to the Hollywood Reporter in March that she was 'off' acting for the rest of the year after starring in several recent blockbusters, but the actress later seemingly backtracked on her plans for a break. Urban was reportedly 'worried' about his wife after she was spotted on the set of a TV series just weeks after she spoke to the Hollywood Reporter. "Keith isn't angry, but he's worried and understandably very frustrated," an insider said to New Idea in April. "He knows how much Nic loves her job, but she keeps moving the goal posts. Instead of putting herself first - something he and the kids need her to do - she's putting work first every time."
