Keith Urban abruptly quits interview after awkward Nicole Kidman question
The Blue Ain't Your Color singer, 57, has been married to the Babygirl actress for nearly 20 years, and they have welcomed two daughters together in that time.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2006, have kept much of their relationship behind closed doors, so the Grammy-winner didn't seem too thrilled when he was asked about watching some of the 58-year-old's steamiest sex scenes.
During an appearance on Hayley & Max in the Morning, on Mix 102.3, things took a turn when he played a game with hosts Hayley Pearson and Max Burford.
'In our Wall of Truth, Keith, we often get put into this situation where we have to answer a very tricky question, deeply personal question,' Hayley informed him.
'I get really uncomfortable, to be honest, asking our beautiful guests something they might feel uncomfortable [answering].'
Clearly in good spirits, Keith quickly interjected: 'What about the ugly ones?'
'Not you, Keith. No ugly guests on today,' Max replied, to which their guest could be heard laughing.
'The way the Wall of Truth works is that you just have to answer this question truthfully.
'When I was coming up with something to ask you, Keith Urban, if you're happy to play this game – the first thing I thought of, with your beautiful wife, Nicole Kidman, being on so many great movies, TV shows, all the time…
'I watched a movie with her and Zac Efron, A Family Affair.'
'Oh yeah, that's a good one,' the singer proudly praised.
However, things took a turn when Max questioned: '[I thought], 'What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?''
The query was met with silence from Keith's end, before it was confirmed that he had left the call.
'He's just disconnected from Zoom,' a man – thought to be a producer – said. 'I think his team hung up on us because they didn't want us to ask that question.'
'That's 100 percent what's just happened,' Hayley remarked. 'I knew that would happen … We've upset him! He's gone.
'He doesn't like talking about his wife.'
Nicole and Keith have been together since 2005, and walked down the aisle together the following year.
They share daughters Sunday Rose and Faith together, while the Big Little Lies actress previously adopted children Bella and Connor with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Although they have kept much of their romance away from the spotlight, the Oscar-winner couldn't help but celebrate their 19-year wedding anniversary last month, sharing a loved-up snap on Instagram.
'Happy Anniversary Baby @KeithUrban,' she simply captioned the post.
In recent years, Nicole has basically been everywhere – thanks to roles in The Perfect Couple, Spellbound, Holland and racy Netflix movie A Family Affair, in which she embarks on a romance with Zac, who plays her daughter's needy boss.
At the beginning of 2025, she also led the way in steamy erotic thriller Babygirl, opposite Harris Dickinson, and shared how much filming took out of her, declaring that she suffered 'burnout' during the shoot. More Trending
She said at the time: 'There were times when we were shooting where I was like, 'I don't want to orgasm any more.'
''Don't come near me. I hate doing this. I don't care if I am never touched again in my life! I'm over it.'
'It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.'
Metro has contacted Keith's reps for a comment.

Controversial US comic looks unrecognizable with no make up as she steps out in LA after facelift
She recently addressed whether or not she's on weight loss jabs HAIR SHE IS Controversial US comic looks unrecognizable with no make up as she steps out in LA after facelift Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SHE'S a controversial comic who famously had a bitter feud with President Donald Trump. The no-nonsense star, 64, recently had a second facelift and looked unrecognizable as she was pictured out and about in LA. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 4 This famous comic looked very different on a walk in LA Credit: BackGrid 4 She revealed last week that she recently had a second facelift Credit: BackGrid Going makeup-free for the stroll in the sun, the media personality's trademark red hair was blown back in stark contrast to the fringe she's recently been wearing. Something of a queen when it comes to self-promotion, Kathy Griffin helped those out who might have struggled to place her by wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with her own name. An over the shoulder bag bisected her world tour slogan tee and she finished her look with jogging bottoms and sneakers. The low-key outing was very different to the facelift reveal video she put out on Instagram last week from her stunning home. On that occasion, she dressed in a more glamorous style and told her fans that she was wearing a lot of makeup. The cosmetic procedure reveal came some 27 years after her first facelift. Kathy explained, "The reason I'm telling you, is when I got my first facelift in 1998... believe it not, at the time, it was not common for a public person to go public about it. "And I thought it was weird that so many people were lying about having face work done or just skirting the issue. "I thought, now I've opened the floodgates, and people are going to start talking about getting work done, maybe have a few laughs about it. But as usual, the cheese stood alone." In the conversational clip, Kathy insisted she would not be shamed for having the work done, nor would she share how much it cost her. Kathy Griffin suffered painkiller addiction & attempted suicide from Trump head backlash before lung cancer diagnosis The star later told how she would also not be forced into sharing if she's on any weight loss medication like Ozempic, adding, "it could be yes, it could be no." Wanting to share the surgery news on her own terms in a bid to reduce stigma, she said she found it "ageist and misogynistic" when men asked about her procedures in interviews. She then revealed additional work she's had done as a "neck pull and an upper eye job". Kathy's been in the limelight for three decades, landing her big break in 1996 in the NBC sitcom, Suddenly Susan. She has received two Emmys and a GRAMMY and broken a Guinness World record for the number of aired TV comedy specials on any network. The comedian, who is worth an estimated $40m, has also starred in her own reality television series, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. Other noteworthy appearances include roles in Glee, Ugly Betty, American Dad!, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She faced a fierce backlash in 2017 after she posed with a fake severed Donald Trump head. Kathy initially apologized, stating she'd "crossed the line". However, six months later, she backtracked saying she "takes back 1,000%" her apology. In August 2021 she was diagnosed with lung cancer and had part of her lung removed. Four months later, she revealed the surgery had been a success and she was cancer-free. 4 Kathy Griffin in her more familiar style Credit: Getty

And he confirmed that Jonnie will continue to take the club forward as he deals with his condition. And the pair went on to found the iconic nightclub as well as travel the world together to perform at a host of different clubs, festivals and events. After hearing Keith's devastating news, Jonnie also shared a post about his close friend's diagnosis. Writing his own emotional tribute to Keith, Jonnie said: "It is with the deepest sadness and reflection that I'm here writing to you in light of Keith's diagnosis. "It is too painful to put into words what I really feel. I don't know if I even have the words. "Keith and I have been through so much together in our 28-year partnership. We are connected in a way that perhaps only he and I can understand. "I do know however, that if you ever heard us play together then you will have realised how deep that connection is. "I love you Keith. You inspired me like nobody else could. I'm so proud of what we've done together. "I will continue Optimo Espacio with you always in my heart. The music will speak for both of us. "Your anarchic spirit and your ferocious energy is all around me". He said: "I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my journey in music, from the early days in Edinburgh in the '90s and through the past 28 years of Optimo Espacio. "Jonie and I have been lucky enough to play our music at countless clubs and festivals throughout the world and it has been one of the greatest honours of my life to make a career out of something I love. "We have connected with so many beautiful souls through our shared passion for music. "I want to say also that Watching Trees festivals holds a very special place in my heart. "It's a project I've loved being part of and curating, and I know the incredible WT crew will continue to help it grow into even more magical and meaningful experience. "I trust Jonnie implicitly to continue Optimo Espacio. "I know he will carry it forward with the same spirit and passion we always shared showing you, as ever, just how much 'we love your ears'."
