The picture seemed to have been taken during the shoot of the series Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley, which is based on a crime mystery novel by Agatha Christie, The Sittaford Mystery. For the caption, Wamiqa wrote: 'Happy Birthday @vishalrbhardwaj sir #GuruPurnima." Vishal is known for his work in Hindi cinema, and is the recipient of nine National Film Awards. He is known for films such as Makdee, Maqbool, Omkara, Haider, Kaminey, 7 Khoon Maaf, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Ishqiya, its sequel Dedh Ishqiya and the drama thriller Talvar among others. Talking about Wamiqa, she was last seen in the Rajkummar Rao-starrer 'Bhool Chuk Maaf," a fantasy romantic comedy film written and directed by Karan Sharma. The film followed the story of Ranjan, a small-town romantic boy from Banaras, who lands a government job to marry Titli but forgets his vow to Lord Shiva-only to be trapped until he fulfils his promise. Her next is 'G2' with Adivi Sesh and Emraan Hashmi. The film will release on May 1, 2026. The project further boasts a stellar cast with Banita Sandhu, Murali Sharma, Supriya Yarlagadda, and Madhu Shalini in prominent roles, along with others. Along with the release date, the makers have also dropped the first look poster of Sesh, Hashmi, and Gabbi from the forthcoming action spy thriller. ‘Metro...In Dino' day 2 box office collection: Anurag Basu's hyperlink romance drama collects almost ₹10 crores in India
Anurag Basu's Dino has collected ₹9.5 crores in India in the first two days of its release. The film, which was released on July 4, features a star-studded cast that includes Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Ali Sheikh. According to Sacnilk, the film collected ₹3.5 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹6 crore on Saturday, bringing the total to ₹9.5 crore. A report by the tracking website added that the film saw 32% occupancy on Saturday, with Pune, NCR and Mumbai regions registering the highest occupancy figures. With positive reviews all over, the film is expected to cross ₹15 crore on Sunday Dino is a hyperlink romantic drama that follows stories of love, longing, infidelity, and morality in urban cities. Anurag Basu's Dino, which hit the screens on July 04, 2025, is off to a decent start at the box office. The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi and Fatima Ali Sheikh. Fatima Sana Shaikh's deep bond with Ira Khan is no secret. Several pictures of them from the latter's wedding created waves on social media. Now, speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, Fatima shares her admiration for Aamir Khan's daughter. When Fatima decided to seek therapy a few years ago, she reached out to Ira for help. 'I did ask Ira for recommendations when I wanted to seek therapy. I reached out to others too because I've a lot of friends who seek therapy," she tells us. Heaping praises on her, Fatima says, 'Ira is an incredible girl. She's very intelligent and talented. She has a very big heart and I just love her. She's a great girl. She's very giving." For the Dangal and Sam Bahadur actor, in fact, sisterhood is paramount. Her friendships with her co-stars Sanya Malhotra, Ratna Pathak Shah and Dia Mirza Rekhi aren't unheard of. 'These women have added so much to my life. I enjoy such relationships," she shares. Slamming the perception that two women actors don't get along, Fatima states, 'Yeh toh nonsense hai! Isme gender ka kuch lena dena hai hi nahi. It doesn't matter what your gender is. It all depends on how confident and self-assured you're as a person. If you're insecure, you're insecure. 'I don't have any scenes with Neena (Gupta) ji and Koko (Konkona Sensharma. And with Sara (Ali Khan), I've just one scene. So, I can't say that I got to work with these women on Metro In Dino. But I've worked with Dia and Ratna on Dhak Dhak. Sanjana (Sanghi) was also there but I largely connected with the two of them," she remarks. She further continues, 'They're such strong women. One woman I'm really close to is Shonali Bose [her director in Modern Love Mumbai's Raat Rani]. She's a fabulous filmmaker. If you follow her journey online, you'll realise that she has gone through so many things. But her zest for life is incredible. When she enters a room, she lights it up.
