Haiden Deegan and Julien Beaumer exchange words after Seattle race
Haiden Deegan and Julien Beaumer had a heated exchange after the Monster Energy Supercross 250 West divisional race, which led to a battle of words on from the podium stage. At the center of the controversy were actions following Deegan's March 21, 2025, Walton County arrest for stunt driving and street racing. Deegan fell early while riding second to his teammate Cole Davies, who won the race. Deegan fell as far back as eighth and climbed through the field before catching Beaumer in a contest for third on Lap 18. Deegan rode Beaumer wide, turning into his competitor, before taking the position. Beaumer kept his bike upright and finished fourth. The two riders parked next to one another following the main event. At one point, Deegan slapped Beaumer's helmet. 'Everyone knows what happened to me these last two weeks,' Deegan said after finishing third, referencing his arrest. 'He, JuJu went out of his own hands to post on his story that had my address and stuff. And now you're talking about my family, putting my family in danger and that's a whole 'nother scene so I told him not to do that. It ain't cool. He obviously lit back but we'll just see what happens from here on out.' Walton County's booking information included Deegan's address. Following his arrest, Deegan posted a screenshot on an Instagram story of his booking information, which had his address erased. Beaumer posted the unaltered version in an Instagram story, both of which disappeared in 24 hours. 'For that situation, no worries,' Beaumer said after finishing fourth. 'I ain't the only one who posted his address. So he can talk all he wants, but that's public record. I'm not worried about it; he has one coming.' After a run-in with Haiden Deegan in the 250 main event at Seattle, Julien Beaumer asserts that "he has one coming" when they meet again in Philadelphia.

Jordon Smith set to return in Seattle Supercross
This week, Jordon Smith returns to action in the Monster Energy Supercross 250 West division at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Smith was injured in a crash in the Arlington, Texas, Triple Crown race when he crashed in the whoops, breaking four ribs, puncturing a lung, and suffering a laceration to his spleen. The calendar worked in his favor. Since the series left Arlington four rounds ago, the 250 East riders have hosted two standalone rounds. There has also been an off-week in the schedule, which means Smith missed only the East / West Showdown in Indianapolis, Indiana. 'We are back,' Smith posted on social media. 'Been working hard to get healed and back to race shape in the past 4 weeks. Thanks to all the doctors that had a part in helping me get back on the track, and my whole crew back at home with a special thanks to [Katie Smith] for taking care of Blair and [me]! See you guys in Seattle!' Smith began the season strong with back-to-back podiums in Anaheim 1 and San Diego. He finished fourth in Anaheim 2 and gave Triumph its first victory in his fourth race with the team. Finishing last in the Arlington Triple Crown and missing one round dropped Smith to fifth in the championship standings, 44 points behind leader Haiden Deegan. Jalek Swoll extends Factory Triumph contract through 2026
Jalek Swoll secured an extension to his Factory Triumph contract, which will now see him with the team until the end of the 2026 SuperMotocross season. 'I'm super-excited to announce my contract extension with Triumph Factory Racing,' Swoll said in a news release. 'I'm also really proud of what we've achieved together since I joined the team and I'm excited to keep building on what we've delivered so far. 'I was in a really good place with my speed before my injury this off-season and I was ready to contend for wins, so when I'm back racing the goal remains the same. Being offered a contract extension while being injured isn't something I'm taking for granted and I can't wait to be back at the races with the team and showing everyone what we can do.' Swoll was scheduled to ride in the Monster Energy Supercross 250 West division until he injured his Achilles tendon in a practice crash. He moved to the Eastern roster, but with the severity of the injury, he will not return until the Pro Motocross seasons, according to the release. And that is good news for another reason. As the only Factory Triumph rider last year, he gave the iconic British brand its first Supercross top-five in an East / West Showdown in Nashville, Tennessee, and its first podium with a third-place finish in Unadilla, New York. Swoll immediately followed that with another Motocross top-five in Mechanicsville, Maryland, the following week. Factory Triumph increased to a four-rider roster in 2025. Swoll qualified for the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship before suffering an injury in the first playoff race in Concord, North Carolina.
