At the center of the controversy were actions following Deegan's March 21, 2025, Walton County arrest for stunt driving and street racing.
Deegan fell early while riding second to his teammate Cole Davies, who won the race. Deegan fell as far back as eighth and climbed through the field before catching Beaumer in a contest for third on Lap 18. Deegan rode Beaumer wide, turning into his competitor, before taking the position. Beaumer kept his bike upright and finished fourth.
The two riders parked next to one another following the main event. At one point, Deegan slapped Beaumer's helmet.
'Everyone knows what happened to me these last two weeks,' Deegan said after finishing third, referencing his arrest. 'He, JuJu went out of his own hands to post on his story that had my address and stuff. And now you're talking about my family, putting my family in danger and that's a whole 'nother scene so I told him not to do that. It ain't cool. He obviously lit back but we'll just see what happens from here on out.'
Walton County's booking information included Deegan's address.
Following his arrest, Deegan posted a screenshot on an Instagram story of his booking information, which had his address erased. Beaumer posted the unaltered version in an Instagram story, both of which disappeared in 24 hours.
'For that situation, no worries,' Beaumer said after finishing fourth. 'I ain't the only one who posted his address. So he can talk all he wants, but that's public record. I'm not worried about it; he has one coming.'
After a run-in with Haiden Deegan in the 250 main event at Seattle, Julien Beaumer asserts that "he has one coming" when they meet again in Philadelphia.

Vikings' male cheerleaders fire back at critics amid social media frenzy
The Minnesota Vikings came under fire on social media ahead of the start of the preseason schedule because the team had two male cheerleaders on its squad. Blaize Shiek and Louie Conn have fired back at critics in social media posts. "Wait…did someone say our name?" Shiek wrote in a post on Instagram with Conn ahead of the Vikings' preseason game against the New England Patriots. Pictures of Shiek in a Vikings cheerleading uniform sparked a frenzy and a debate about male cheerleaders in the NFL. The Los Angeles Rams were the first organization to have male cheerleaders, which occurred in 2018. The Baltimore Ravens also featured several men on their cheerleading squad. The Carolina Panthers had the first transgender cheerleader on its squad until this year. The Vikings put out a statement in defense of Shiek and Conn. "Male cheerleaders have been part of previous Vikings teams and have long been associated with collegiate and professional cheerleading," the team told NBC News. "We support all our cheerleaders and are proud of the role they play as ambassadors of the organization." It is Sheik's first year as a Vikings cheerleader. Aaron Pico vows revival after UFC 319 KO loss: 'Last night wasn't my night'
It's safe to say Aaron Pico's UFC debut didn't go as planned. But then again, his MMA debut didn't work out that well, either, and he managed to quickly turn things around. That, no doubt, is what the 28-year-old wrestling standout will be looking to do after he was knocked out cold in his first fight in the promotion in Saturday's UFC 319 co-main event at United Center in Chicago. Pico (13-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) took the fight against featherweight replacement opponent Lerone Murphy (17-0-1 MMA, 9-0-1 UFC), who stepped in for Movsar Evloev on just about three weeks' notice. He had won nine of his past 10 Bellator fights before that promotion was shuttered by the PFL, and the one loss was from an injury. He came to the UFC as a highly touted Bellator free agent, like several others before him, and Murphy ended his night with a spinning back elbow that likely will be a contender for Knockout of the Year. Pico on Sunday posted on social media that his health was OK and vowed the experience of the loss will make him a better fighter. "Last night wasn't my night, that's the fight game," Pico posted on Instagram. "I'm grateful for my team, my family, and everyone who continues to support me. The supporters that have been there from day one and my new supporters, I see you! Thank you. Wins and losses both teach lessons and I'll come back sharper, stronger, and better prepared. In his MMA debut in 2017, he was submitted in just 24 seconds by Zach Freeman at Bellator NYC in Madison Square Garden. It was a major upset after a big build-up for Pico as Bellator's first "blue-chip prospect" that the company and then-owner Viacom planned to build into a superstar. Pico went pro in MMA without a collegiate wrestling career. After he finished high school as the country's top wrestler, he essentially turned pro by signing endorsement deals that included with top-shelf company Nike. He endured the turbulence of a major upset loss in his high-profile MMA debut, and a 4-3 start as a pro. And now, according to his post, he'll have to learn some new lessons in the current speed bump.
