Bold prediction made for Jets' Garrett Wilson made by ESPN
Bold prediction made for Jets' Garrett Wilson made by ESPN The New York Jets are hoping for big things out of Garrett Wilson in 2025 and ESPN thinks it's possible via a bold prediction. In a breakdown of 100 NFL-related things ahead of the 2025 NFL season, Wilson and the Jets are noted. Wilson will now undoubtedly be the No. 1 receiver in New York following the departure of quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wideout Devante Adams this offseason. Replacing Rodgers is Justin Fields and ESPN's Benjamin Solak sees a promising future for Fields and Wilson. The two were previously teammates at Ohio State in college and it's clear there is a belief that chemistry could still be there... because it's predicted that Wilson will lead the NFL in receiving yards in 2025. Not a bad projection for the green and white... and it's not the craziest of ideas considering the potential chemistry already built. Despite a slew of quarterbacks throwing him the ball in his career, Wilson has surpassed 1,000 yards each year in the NFL. ESPN's breakdown on Wilson can be found below:

Bill Belichick reveals truth on Jordon Hudson viral email
(NewsNation) — Bill Belichick shed background on the email that went viral about his girlfriend Jordon Hudson's role with the University of North Carolina football team, according to a report. Belichick on 'The Pivot' podcast with ESPN's Ryan Clark last week said he requested that Hudson, 24, be copied on all emails sent to him because he had nobody to assist him at the time. 'We didn't have a sports information guy,' Belichick explained. 'Because all emails are shared publicly, that was taken as Jordon's running the sports information department. And that also led to a narrative, which is just totally — she's not doing it. I mean, there was nobody to help me sort it out, so I was asking her to do it.' WNBA investigating racial slurs by fans made at Angel Reese during Indiana game, AP source says Earlier this month, word had surfaced that Hudson had been banned from football facilities at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. That rumor was quickly negated by the university. 'While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,' the school wrote in a statement. 'Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick's personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.' NFL owners set to discuss tush push again, along with playoff and flag football proposals Belichick's relationship with Hudson has been raising eyebrows after a wide-ranging interview last month went sideways. Hudson shut down questioning when Belichick was asked questions about their relationship. Reports surfaced afterwards that she stormed off set numerous times, caused delays and interrupted the interview several times. Belichick and Hudson have been associated for nearly five years and are in a personal relationship. The two met while on a flight from Massachusetts to Florida in February 2021. They were seated next to each other and struck up a conversation. Hudson has been seen at several sporting and NFL-related events with Belichick. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. 'He's kind of an uglier version': Rob Gronkowski's lighthearted jab at Nikola Jokić goes viral as the Nuggets battle to stay in the playoffs
Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman's chat took a wild turn with a Jokic joke. (Getty Images) As the NBA playoffs heat up and the Denver Nuggets fight to stay alive, the sports world is watching every move on and off the court. But while Nikola Jokić was busy dropping 44 points in a critical Game 5 loss against the Thunder, it was an Instagram reel featuring NFL legend Rob Gronkowski that unexpectedly grabbed headlines. Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman offbeat chat takes a wild turn with jokic comparison In a video posted by @dudesondudes, Rob Gronkowski and longtime friend Julian Edelman were seen in their usual form trading playful jabs and witty banter. What caught fans off guard this time, though, was their hilarious (and slightly unfiltered) comparison involving Nikola Jokić, the reigning NBA MVP. Edelman opened the exchange with a light tease, 'You'd be Jokic on the floor.' That's all it took for Gronkowski to launch into one of the most talked-about responses of the week. 'Love that comparison. The way he moves. He's even bigger than me. But we got similar movements. Also, the way he looks. He's got like a big nose. I got a big nose. I don't want to say this but he's kind of an uglier version of me.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Rich Man Keeps Annoying Royal Guard, But He Didnt Expect This To Happen Learn It Wise Undo Edelman was nearly in tears laughing, but Gronkowski didn't stop there. He sealed the moment with a punchline that left fans stunned and entertained. 'But I would still date him. Like if I was a hot chick.' The clip instantly gained traction across social media, sparking laughter, memes, and even a bit of debate. Some fans applauded the former Patriots star for his humor and self-deprecation, while others questioned whether the comment crossed a line. Regardless of how it was received, the timing of the joke couldn't have been more curious. The Denver Nuggets were on the ropes, trailing 3–2 in the Western Conference Semifinals, and Jokić had just delivered one of his strongest performances of the postseason. To have his name unexpectedly enter a viral NFL-related conversation was a twist few saw coming. Still, for anyone familiar with Gronkowski's media appearances, the remarks felt very on-brand. He's known for being candid, unpredictable, and always ready to lean into absurdity for a laugh even if it means comparing himself to an NBA superstar. Mahomes Gets Incredible Honor And Gives Back in Texas
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has just about every accolade a player can have in the NFL, and now he can add another thing to the list. Except this time it isn't NFL-related. Mahomes posted via his Instagram account that he is being inducted into the Texans High School Hall of Fame, a superb nod to the player and person Patrick is and has been across his journey. Advertisement But there is something more. Mahomes is giving back to his school in a big way, which he explained in his Instagram post. "Whitehouse, Texas is where it all began. It's an honor to be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame," Mahomes wrote. "As a part of this recognition, I'm proud to announce that @adidasfballus and I are signing 15 high schools to Team Mahomes that will represent my Gladiator logo on uniform, starting with Whitehouse High School. This is just the beginning." Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX at Ceasars Superdome. Mandatory Credit: Mark J. It is a superb achievement for Patrick and his family, with his football journey now immortalized forever. The next stop for Patrick? Canton and the NFL Hall of Fame.
