Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, Vice Chairperson of the Government Service Centers Evaluation Committee (Taqyeem), presented the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) with the Gold Shield in recognition of the ID Card Center's Seef Mall – Arad branch's Gold Category classification in the fifth edition of the Taqyeem Government Service Center Evaluation Program. In attendance were committee members, the administrative team, and the judging panel. iGA's Deputy Chief Executive of Statistics and Population Registry, Ms. Dua'a Sultan Mohamed, expressed her appreciation for the recognition, emphasizing that it reflects the visionary leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his directives to advancing efficiency and excellency in government services that meet citizens' expectations and enhance the overall customer experience. The new ID card comes with several key improvement features from design aspect, as well as security and quality aspects. The new ID Card look and feal is inspired by the ancient and modernized features that resembles the Kingdom's rich history with over 3000 years. The recently launched ID card made from polycarbonate material, that makes it resistant to breaking, scratching, heat, and environmental factors, allowing it to last longer. NPRA launches services through MyGov

The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has announced the availability of its services through the unified MyGov app, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and launched by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology (MCICT). Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, emphasised that making services available through MyGov is a significant step in facilitating access for citizens and residents to government services. He explained that in its initial phase, the application provides several NPRA services, including passport and residency display services. In collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), more NPRA e-services will be integrated into MyGov to enhance accessibility and improve user experience. Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman noted that the application serves as a unified platform that offers access to various services and features, including the display of official government documents such as identity cards, passports, and birth certificates, as well as government notifications and other services. The MyGov app is an innovative digital initiative providing secure, unified access to multiple government services. It is integrated with the upgraded eKey 2.0 system, offering a seamless and secure digital experience for all users. In its first phase, the application includes 41 government services from nine entities, contributing to easier service access for citizens and residents. The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications announced that Bahrain Post has made several services available on the 'My Gov app', as part of the ministry's commitment to providing innovative, efficient, and sustainable digital solutions in line with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
