Jessie J suffers panic attack on 'worst day so far' after breast cancer diagnosis
Jessie J was left in floods of tears after suffering a panic attack on the "worst day so far" following her breast cancer diagnosis. The 37-year-old pop star went public with her health issues last week revealing she is battling an "early" form of the disease and is currently undergoing tests before surgery later in the year - and now the mom-of-one has revealed she has been feeling overwhelmed as she comes to terms with her health crisis. In a message posted on Instagram, she wrote: "Honestly, had my worst day so far yesterday since my diagnosis and the busiest three months I have had in years. Work. Toddler. Cancer. life etc had my mind [drained]. "'Panic attacks/ tears. big fears/ anger/ overwhelm bad. [sic]." However, Jessie J went on to reveal she found a very simple way to make herself feel better - eating a corn on the cob. She added: "And you know what helped?' I ate a corn on the cob. Turns out it's extremely hard to panic or cry while eating one. Highly recommend. Instead mood shift." Jessie added: "Tomorrow is a new day. The [rollercoaster] of cancer is [draining]. I won't be just talking about the highlights. And making jokes all the time. That isn't real life. Goodnight." The following day, Jessie returned to social media to explain she's glad she shared her feelings because she felt "completely drowned in all the negative and bad feelings" relating to her cancer battle. She wrote: IMO. It's [key] to acknowledge fear anger sadness panic overwhelm and let it come up and come out. holding it in won't make it go away. In any challenging situation in life. "So when I posted what I did yesterday about my current challenge in life, also while making light of the situation. That was one day in 10 weeks that I just lost it and was completely drowned in all the negative and bad feelings any cancer journey can bring. Which is healthy and needed. "So I will cry, I will be scared, I will panic, I will feel all of it for a minute or even a full day. And then eat a [corn] or listen to a song that lifts me up or laugh with a friend on Face Time. And then go and be a mum, and go to work and show up and be what I feel 90 per cent of the time. "Strong, fearless, healthy, and make some jokes about it all because that's my way. But i will not ignore the 10 per cent that is fear and sadness". Jessie - who is mother to two-year-old son Sky with basketball star Chanan Colman - previously revealed she was given the diagnosis prior to the release of her single, 'New Secrets' on April 25 and she has been "in and out of tests" since. She said in an Instagram video: "Before 'No Secrets' came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. I'm highlighting the word 'early'. "Cancer sucks in any form but I'm holding onto the word early. I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period."

Jessie J 'so grateful for the love and support' after breast cancer diagnosis
Jessie J has thanked her fans for their outpouring of "love and support" following her breast cancer diagnosis. The 37-year-old pop star went public with her health issues earlier this week revealing she is battling an "early" form of the disease and is currently undergoing tests before surgery later in the year - and she now has expressed her gratitude to everyone who has reached out to her since she explained her situation. In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "So grateful for all the love and support and kindness from everyone who has reached out to me in the last two days." Jessie - who is mother to two-year-old son Sky with basketball star Chanan Colman - previously revealed she was given the diagnosis prior to the release of her single, 'New Secrets' on April 25 and she has been "in and out of tests" since. She said in an Instagram video: "Before 'No Secrets' came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. I'm highlighting the word 'early'. "Cancer sucks in any form but I'm holding onto the word early. I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period." Jessie went "back and forth" with herself about whether she should share her news, due to there being "lots of opinions outside". However, the 'Who You Are' singer felt she should tell all, particularly because of the name of her latest single, 'No Secrets', which was inspired by a miscarriage she had in 2021. She said: "To get diagnosed with this, as I'm putting out a song called 'No Secrets' right before a song called 'Living My Best Life,' which was all pre-planned before I found out about this, I mean you can't make it up. "I just wanted to be open and share it - one, because, selfishly, I do not talk about it enough. "I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me, with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. "I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much, similar and worse. That's the bit that kills me." Jessie is still planning to perform at this year's Capital Summertime Ball on June 15 at London's Wembley Stadium, but afterwards she will undergo surgery and "disappear for a bit". She said: "It wasn't something I'd planned, but yeah. I'm getting to keep my nipples, that's good. It's a weird topic and a weird situation. "I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t*ts and more music." The 'Price Tag' hitmaker joked: "It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job."

Jessie J opens up about early breast cancer diagnosis before releasing new single
Washington [US], June 5 (ANI): In a deeply personal revelation, singer-songwriter Jessie J has shared that she has been diagnosed with early breast cancer. The Grammy-nominated artist took to Instagram to open up about her health journey, explaining that she wanted to be transparent with her fans and followers, despite the personal challenges she is facing. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Jessie J disclosed that the diagnosis came just before the release of her new single, 'No Secrets', which is part of her upcoming sixth studio album. "Before 'No Secrets' came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer," she shared, emphasising the importance of the word early in her diagnosis. "I'm highlighting the word 'early.' Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word early," she added, expressing her determination to remain hopeful. The 'Price Tag' singer admitted that part of her decision to speak out was because she felt she had not been processing the news enough due to her busy schedule. "I just wanted to be open and share it, partly because selfishly I do not talk about it enough, I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard," she said in the video. Despite the severity of the diagnosis, Jessie J shared that she was encouraged by the support she has received from her fans and loved ones in the past when she opened up about personal struggles. "I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories," she said, highlighting the therapeutic power of community and connection. Jessie J also reflected on the timing of her diagnosis in relation to her music release. With the title of her new song No Secrets and the upcoming track 'Living My Best Life', she acknowledged the irony of the situation. "I know the press are going to say crazy stuff, but you know what, to get diagnosed with this as I'm putting out a song called 'No Secrets' right before a song called 'Living My Best Life,' which was all pre-planned before I found out about this," she said, adding with a sense of disbelief, "I mean you can't make it up." Jessie J first gained international recognition in the early 2010s with her breakthrough hits such as 'Domino' and 'Bang Bang', the latter of which featured collaborations with pop icons Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. The song was a massive success, and Jessie J received her sole Grammy nomination for her work on the track. (ANI)
