‘It's everything you want': Dave Franco teases Now You See Me: Now You Don't

Dave Franco has teased 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' will be "everything you want". The 39-year-old actor is set to reprise his role as street magician Jack Wilder in the upcoming threequel, and has now teased 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' will delight fans - with Rosamund Pike's new villain being a particular stand-out. Speaking to Collider, Franco said: "We got some new fun characters - we got an incredible villain with Rosamund Pike, who's just an absolute pro. It's everything you want." As well as Pike, 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' will introduce the next generation of magicians as portrayed by Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa. Meanwhile, Franco will be reteaming with his fellow 'Now You See Me' co-stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman. Reflecting on reuniting with 'The Four Horsemen' - as portrayed by himself, Harrelson, Eisenberg and Fisher - Franco pointed to the "natural camaraderie" they share, which he believes "bleeds through onto the screen". He said: "I've known this cast for nearly 15 years now, and we all genuinely love each other. There's no set that I laugh on more. "I just adore these people, and I think the natural camaraderie that we have kind of bleeds through onto the screen, and people can feel how much fun we're having." 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' - which is being directed by Ruben Fleischer - will see the return of 'The Four Horsemen', though they appear to be disbanded as a group in the early moments of the movie. Eisenberg's J. Daniel Atlas tells a new generation of illusionists his former team is "dead" in a trailer for the new flick, which is slated for release in November. He clarifies: "To me. Things got too real for them. They gave up stuff." The story of 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' revolves around a diamond heist, involving both the original Horsemen and newcomers played by Greenblatt, Smith and Sessa, as they work together against a criminal organisation. Greenblatt's character declares in the trailer: "I like our odds." The title for 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' was unveiled last month at CinemaCon, where Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson revealed Fleischer would also return for a fourth movie. Fogelson said: "We were so happy with the director's cut, we're already developing the next chapter. "We can't wait for audiences to discover what he's done with the third film and thrilled he'll be making even more magic with us." Fleischer added: "Directing 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' was as much fun as making any movie in my career. "It combines two of my favorite things - heist movies and magic - and working with this incredible cast was truly magical. Of course I want to keep it going."

Now You See Me: Now You Don't trailer teases return of Four Horsemen and new magician recruits

Lionsgate has officially released the trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don't, the highly anticipated third installment in the Now You See Me magician heist franchise. The film sees the return of the original Four Horsemen and introduces a fresh lineup of new faces ready to pull off an even bigger magical caper. Returning cast members include Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, and Isla Fisher reprising her role as Henley Reeves. Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman also return as Dylan Rhodes and Thaddeus Bradley, respectively. This marks Fisher's return to the series after missing the second film. New additions to the ensemble include Ariana Greenblatt, Dominic Sessa, Rosamund Pike, and Justice Smith, bringing a new energy to the franchise's signature blend of illusion and high-stakes heist drama. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the film follows the once-retired Horsemen as they are drawn back into action for another elaborate mission. According to Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson, the studio was so impressed with the director's cut that a fourth installment is already in early development. The first look premiered earlier this month at CinemaCon, where Fleischer's vision for revitalizing the franchise was praised. The original Now You See Me debuted in 2013, followed by the 2016 sequel. Now You See Me: Now You Don't hits theaters on November 14, 2025.

Morgan Freeman reprises his role as Thaddeus Bradley, as does Mark Ruffalo as Dylan Rhodes. Ruben Fleischer directs "Now You See Me: Now You Don't." Development on an upcoming fourth film is already underway with Fleischer once more behind the camera. "We were so happy with the director's cut, we're already developing the next chapter," Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson said according to Variety. "We can't wait for audiences to discover what he's done with the third film and thrilled he'll be making even more magic with us." The "Now You See Me" films have so far proven to be dependable money makers for Lionsgate. In 2013 "Now You See Me" made $351.7 million against a $75 million production budget, and in 2016 "Now You See Me 2" took in $334.9 million against a reported $100 million budget. Not exactly Marvel blockbuster numbers, but still good. On the other hand, the "Now You See Me" flicks are not exactly critical darlings. The first film earned a 51 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, while "Now You See Me 2" not only was hit with a 34 percent critics score, but a similarly dismal 53 percent audience score. Still the critics can say what they like as long as a movie puts butts in seats, and so far the "Now You See Me" films have certainly done that. We'll have to wait and see exactly how the world takes the third entry, "Now You See Me: Now You Don't". The threequel releases in theaters on November 14.
