On the historic edition of AEW Dynamite 300, top star Mercedes Mone was slated to defend her TBS Championship against Mina Shirakawa. The match was a stellar showdown and led to loud cheers from the audience. In the end, The CEO rolled up Shirakawa for the pin to retain her title. She even attacked "Timeless" Toni Storm who was watching the action ringside. As she was leaving the ringside area, Mone decided to steal one of John Cena's iconic catchphrases. She held the TBS title high, looking into the camera to send a message to Toni Storm and said, "Your Time is Up, My Time is Now." Cena has been heard saying the line for years, and this is even the first line of his WWE theme song that he recorded himself. Mercedes Mone and Timeless Toni Storm have been engaged in a heated feud for weeks. It began when Mone won the Owen Hart Foundation Cup to earn the right to challenge her for her AEW Women's World title at their premier event, AEW All In Texas in a few weeks. However, the superstar who inspired her to pursue that path was the late, great Eddie Guerrero. The CEO of women's wrestling has stated multiple times that Guerrero has been her lifelong hero, and she paid a fitting tribute to him recently. She was seen arriving at the arena on the back of a lowrider, the same vehicle that Guerrero made famous in the wrestling world. Eddie Guerrero would make his WWE entrances driving a lowrider to the ringside and showing the car's up and down movement before heading to the ring. Mone's vehicle did the same as she came out of it and headed straight towards the arena for her scheduled appearance later that night. Mercedes Mone won a high-stakes match at Double or Nothing Mercedes Mone had a significant match at AEW's latest pay-per-view, Double or Nothing. She battled fellow AEW star Jamie Hayter in the finals of the prestigious Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament.
