Farmers hold massive tractor rally in Puttaparthi

Puttaparthi: Hundreds of farmers from Puttaparthi constituency took out a massive tractor rally on Tuesday in support of the coalition government for implementing the Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme. The event, organised under the leadership of Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy and former minister Dr Palle Raghunath Reddy, witnessed an impressive turnout of over 350 tractors and hundreds of farmers. The rally began at Ganesh Circle and passed through Sai Aramam, RTC Depot, Chitravathi Road, Karnataka Nagepalli, Janakampalli, Bukkapatnam, Bukkapatnam Cheruvu Katta, Kotta Cheruvu Town, and Nehru Circle before concluding at the Market Yard. Farmers, along with leaders and activists from coalition parties, participated in large numbers. Addressing the gathering, MLA Sindhura Reddy described the government as farmer-friendly, noting that ₹3,174 crore was credited to the accounts of 46 lakh farmers in the first phase of the scheme across the State. In Sri Sathya Sai district alone, ₹180.87 crore was disbursed to 2,65,040 farmers under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. She urged farmers to remember and thank such a supportive government. Former minister Dr Palle Raghunath Reddy said that 98% of the coalition government's 'Super Six' promises had been fulfilled. He lauded Chandrababu Naidu as a staunch supporter of farmers and urged people to hold him in high regard for his welfare and development initiatives.

Amadaguru: Former minister Dr Palle Raghunath Reddy said that people are turning towards the Telugu Desam Party with the belief that under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, along with the development of the state, justice for the people will be done. The rice distribution programme for the poor through the government's grain center was launched by former minister Dr Palle Raghunath Reddy in Amadaguru mandal. He said that the TDP is the party of the people. He said that the people voted for the TDP in the elections thinking that development is possible in Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Naidu. He said that many people are joining the TDP with the intention that justice will not be done due to the YCP. Later, about 25 families from YCP joined the TDP in the presence of the latter. Abdul Rauf, Shekshavali Shabbir Tailor, Babu Auto Bujji, Abdul Rehman Chicken Bujji, Asif, Babjan, Altaf, Jamir, Peddabbulu Karim, Babjan, Mansur Hussain, Bhasha, Farooq Somu, Aruna and many other YCP workers from Muslim families joined the TDP. He visited the sick TDP workers in Mohammedabad and provided some financial assistance. Later, he inaugurated a cattle water tank at the Vyalrathi Palli Cross. From there, he visited TDP senior leader and former TDP convener Subbaiah in Kandukuri Palli. Several issues were brought to the attention of the former minister. He said that justice will definitely be done to everyone. TDP leaders from Amadaguru, State Director Kale Nayak, former ZPTC Srinivas Reddy, Krishnamurthy, former convener Prabhakar Reddy, Bodeppa, Nanjappa, and others participated in this programme.

Kothacheruvu (Sri Sathya Sai district): Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy earned public appreciation for her swift response to a civic issue during the NTR Bharosa pension distribution programme in Irangampalli village under Kottacheruvu mandal on Saturday. While participating in the event alongside former minister Dr Palle Raghunath Reddy, residents brought to her attention the stagnant sewage water in front of houses, which was causing mosquito infestations and health concerns. Responding immediately, the latter instructed MPDO Nataraj and the village secretary to address the issue on the spot.
