Unlock Global Doors with PCC Apostille Attestation

Planning to move to another country, either to work, study, or even stay long, you will encounter a world of paperwork. The Police Clearance Certificate is one of the most discussed documents in this procedure and colloquially established as PCC. A Police Clearance Certificate Attestation is a formal method of demonstrating that you have no criminal record, and it is a crucial component of numerous international applications. Clearing the Way When you only get your PCC Apostille Police certificate, the story does not end here. After the certificate, you get the apostille. It may seem elaborate, but give it a chance, and you will realize it is not as bad as it sounds. The truth of the matter is that it is only a means of making your certificate official in a foreign country. It is a symbol of quality worldwide. Stamp of Trust An apostille is a legal confirmation, in essence. It demonstrates that your document has been vetted and approved and is thus credible in a different region of the globe. One would get this stamp by making one's PCC available to a particular authority that undertakes such verifications. They verify the document and its authenticity and attach an apostille label or certificate. As soon as you have done that, your Police Clearance Certificate Attestation gains international recognition in the countries that are signatories to the agreement. No Shortcuts Here You do not want to be cavalier about this or hurry. The government officials involved in apostilles should closely examine any document; therefore, all must be correctly filled out and in order. Forget a step, and your certificate is rejected, and whatever schedule you have planned is halted. It makes the difference when you are ready and you know what to expect. Have your documents aligned to international standards and completed. Then you can take things one step at a time and attend to your next chapter. Why It Matters Consider you want to come to a new country with some dreams in mind, only to realize your papers are not accepted. It is a nightmare situation, but it is an accident that can be avoided with proper preparation. An apostilled PCC opens the doors; not only does this, but it also demonstrates that you have been serious about the whole process. It develops trust, which becomes a tangible advantage in case of foreign law enforcement or establishments. One Step Closer Okay, so it may seem like just another form to be filled, but having your Police Clearance Certificate apostilled is a step forward. It means that you have a legalized and accepted background. And more than that, it means that you have taken one step towards achieving what you want, be it a new job, university, or a new phase of your life. It may appear like a puzzle. But when you familiarize yourself with the various divisions, it all falls into place. Take your time, do it right, and you will find that the way to the new opportunities is not as bumpy as you could think.

'Have been swamped since helpline went live, got multiple calls': After mass detention outside Bengal, demand for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) soars

KOLKATA: Bengal Police has been flooded with online Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) applications following reports of mass detention of Bengali-speaking migrants in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi and UP. With cops in these states refusing to accept Aadhaar , EPIC and in some cases even birth certificates as valid citizenship proof, PCCs issued by Bengal Police have come to the rescue of workers herded into detention camps on suspicion of being Bangladeshis. More than 1,000 Bengali migrants — close to 700 in just Odisha and Haryana — have now been freed after their PCCs reached the respective state police force over the past few days. Only 20-odd individuals are still in detention, an officer said. Now the figure has doubled. 'People, mostly poor migrants who want to work in other states, are all applying for PCCs,' an officer said. Earlier, PCCs were issued by the state Intelligence Branch (IB) but now local police stations have stepped in to fast-track physical verifications. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Senior Living Homes in New Market May Surprise You Senior Living | Search Ads Undo On Friday, Bengal police announced a WhatsApp number — 9147727666 — urging residents facing police harassment in other states to drop a message with all necessary information. 'We have been swamped with calls since Friday night. While we said only text messages will be entertained, we received multiple calls. We had to put extra men on duty. Only a couple were about detention, the rest were queries on documents required to avoid detention and ways to contact the Bengal administration in emergency. As an SOP, we have asked all police districts to complete PCC queries from people in other states within 48-72 hours. All communication should be from official mails of district SPs' office, police stations and DMs' office. Even a single slip can affect our credibility,' said a senior state official. PCCs, which are mostly required for pre-job screenings and immigration, allows cops to verify if a person has criminal antecedent and whether the place of residence cited is genuine. During the mass detention of 444 Bengali-speaking workers in Odisha, Bengal cops had pulled all stops to physically verify addresses and backgrounds of all of them and send detailed reports to Odisha police to secure their release. The same was done to get 250 people freed in Haryana. Bengal Migrant Welfare Board chairperson and Rajya Sabha MP Samirul Islam said, 'We live in a country where EPIC, Aadhar, birth certificates, even land deeds hold no value. The work to release all detainees has not been completed, especially those illegally pushed into Bangladesh. How can the poor fight extra-legal measures?' The migrant welfare board is also in the process of issuing identity cards, setting up emergency helplines, to help workers outside Bengal.

Digital push for all 42 post office passport units in Bengal

Kolkata: All 42 Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) under the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Regional Passport Office (RPO) have been digitised. This digital shift will prevent delays in application processing, especially at remote locations. Previously, it used to take two weeks or more for processing of applications at remote centres. But the new system aims at ensuring near real-time processing. "All documents can now be submitted and transmitted electronically,"said Ashish Middha, regional passport officer, Kolkata. Kolkata RPO manages 40 POPSKs in Bengal, one each in Tripura and in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. While POPSKs handle 'Counter A' operations — such as initial document check — any objections regarding incomplete applications can now be flagged and resolved online. The subsequent stages are completed at the Regional Passport Office, Kolkata. Police Clearance Certificate services are now operational at Beadon Street HPO, Howrah HPO, Barrackpore HPO, Krishnanagar HPO, and Serampore HPO.
