Bella Hadid Can't Stop Wearing Vivaia's Sneakerinas – Here's How To Style The Divisive Shoe

The more Bella Hadid steps out in sneakerinas, the less and less divisive the trend starts to look. It's a story as old as time: supermodels managing to make just about anything look appealing. With the ballet flat renaissance well and truly underway, 2025 was the year a less 'palatable' hybrid trainer version came into the mainstream. But, lest we forget, ugly shoes are fashion catnip. Soon this lovechild was influencing the shape of new sneaker drops and street style spotlights. Goodbye chunky soles and Triple S vibes, hello to the slimline silhouette we loved back in the Seventies, with sporty side stripes, suede uppers and featherweight serrated soles. There's a reason Puma Speedcats, adidas Sambas, Onitsuka Tigers and Miu Miu Plumes are having such a moment. Now, Vivaia has hopped on this bandwagon with a new take on its cult Cristina shoes. If the original design was delicate and balletic, crafted in lustrous satin and dyed in pastel hues, the new Yancy style is sportier than ever. Bella Hadid was spotted out in West Hollywood just this week modelling the creamy 'Natural' shade with tonal Jean Paul Gaultier jeans and a matching denim jacket. Made from padded Re-Nylon (that's recycled Nylon, for the non Prada-mad out there), the Vivaia Yancy has swooping overstitching and suede panelling, as well as a retro rounded toe. Unlike the candy-coloured Cristinas, this shoe comes in basic black, white, cream and a bold red. Of course this isn't the first time Bella has been spotted wearing Vivaia. In fact, the shoe brand has the model to thank for its sudden success. While, yes, the direct-to-consumer label has garnered a roster of celebrity fans – Selena Gomez, Julia Roberts, Alexa Chung and Katie Holmes, to name but a few – since its launch five years ago, in 2025 Vivaia entered the big leagues. When the Cristina sneakerina launched in February, it took less than a month for it to sell out – all thanks to Bella, who was seen wearing a a black pair with a Saint Laurent bag and wool overcoat in early March 2025. Two short weeks later and the Orabella founder was out in sneakerinas yet again: this time in New York, in Vivaia's ivory Cristina with capri leggings and a black Saint Laurent bomber. Cue another sell-out situation. Naturally, in April of this year, it was impossible to get your hands on a pair. But, luckily, Vivaia has kept the drops coming, with fresh new colourways landing all the time – namely butter yellow for summer and an on-trend burgundy to see you through the autumn season. We're big fans of the square-toed full vamp Cristina that Bella Hadid and Amelia Gray Hamlin own, but these shoes also come in a more balletic version, the Yanka, for the truly trainer-averse. Charli XCX has these lower-cut, rounded-toed sneakerinas in pink – she was seen wearing them at Glastonbury and out with friends in NYC. As a self-confessed trainer hater, my life changed the day Vivaia's Cristina sneakerinas landed on my desk. I find – believe it or not – classic trainers to be uncomfortable and I hate the silhouette they create. I was partial to a slim Nike Cortez once, but would rather opt for a heeled boot than ever wear a dress with trainers. Then, ballet flats returned and my feet were freed from their clip-clopping prison. However, there are some outfits that the classic ballet flat can easily take into 'twee' territory, and this is where the sneakerina really comes into its own. That injection of easy athleisure was just what my stripy Ganni midi needed to feel less mumsy (I am a mum, the fear is real), and suddenly my all-black outfits had a cherry on top in the form of low-key flats, not heels. You get the gist: sneakerinas are wearable. No one should be intimidated by this shoe. It goes just as well with an unabashedly girlish midi or mini (think Simone Rocha or Cecilie Bahnsen) as it does with streetwear or sleek Skims loungewear. And, as Bella has proven, it also goes particularly well with this season's favourite capri pant and a relaxed leather bomber (or any bomber jacket for that matter). 11 Summer Denim Trends to Shop for 2025

Denim is a material you can wear any time of year, but there's something about it that just looks so good in the summer. Of course, it's not as breathable as, say, linen bottoms, but it's an undeniable staple that looks fab with a white top in these warmer months. That's just one 'fit that trends every summer, but below I've rounded up a bunch more summer denim trends to give you some ideas on how to style your jeans, jorts, cutoffs, and everything in between. Whether you're trying to go for a standout bottom and top combo, you're trying to make it allll about the top, or you're letting your shorts speak for themselves, there's no shortage of ways to play around with your look this season. Here, I rounded up 11 trends that have been popping up on my IG feed... though some of these pop up every summer, which proves that they've moved past the trend cycle and cemented themselves as certified classics. From tried-and-true straight-leg and light-wash styles to the ever-divisive jorts and low-rise designs, I guarantee there's a trend or two here you can vibe with. Keep scrolling below for all the inspo. A white tank and lighter jeans will never do you wrong in the hot temps. Bonus points if your pants are high rise and extra baggy in the legs to catch the breeze. Super detailed white tops that have a vintage look to them really stand out against darker denim. Features like lace trim and ties make it dainty, and you can contrast it with more edgy accessories like a baseball cap and chunky jewelry. Jeans and loafers are always a great pair, especially when the jeans are a great-fitting straight-leg style. For summer nights that get a bit chilly, throw them on with a knit or layer a tank under a sweater like Emma Chamberlain here. A structured top with medium-wash jeans and pretty flats is a surefire way to turn heads this summer. If you're looking for a summer date-night look that seems like you tried without being too dressed up, this is a definite win. Channel a Y2K-inspired ensemble with a cropped tube top and shorts. You can pare it down with minimal accessories or pile on beaded jewelry for that "just-got-back-from-summer-camp" kind of look. How low can you go? Though not everyone is into these dad-like jorts, there's no doubt that they're eye-catching. The exaggerated silhouette looks best with a more fitted top and fun accessories. If you're near the ocean this summer, it can be quite breezy. Looser jeans paired with lightweight knits in a summery hue will keep you a tad warmer while still looking v cool. The sneakers this year have gotten only gotten slimmer. Low-profile shoes like the Adidas Taekwondos and Puma Speedcats have been making waves and are only gaining popularity this summer. Wear yours with loose-fitting jeans to contrast the shapes and make your shoes the focal point. Okay, yes a long-sleeve shirt might seem absurd in summer temperatures, but there are chambray styles that have a thinner fabric and you can replicate this look with a short-sleeve or sleeveless denim top. For a night out on the town when the air cools down, this is a statement look with a pair of comfy black heels. Go sports! Jersey-inspired tops have been gaining steam and they look even better with low-rise jeans to counterbalance the oversized top. Add a belly chain and/or wide belt to give it a summer spin. Why not wear your bikini as a top? Whether you're heading to the beach or not, layering a bikini under shorts is a combo I've seen time and time again these past couple of months. Add a floral hair clip and a straw bag to keep the effortless vacation vibes going. I'm Cosmopolitan's Associate Fashion Editor and write about any and all trends, major celeb fashion moments, and why wide-leg jeans are basically the best. I originally moved to New York City to audition for RENT, only to find out that the play closed 10 years ago.

6 Of The Best Nightie Dresses - And The Flat Shoe Styles To Wear Them With This Summer

Be it Courtney Love in a beat up slip dress and boots, Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby in a blue nightdress wielding a knife or Wendy Darling waiting at her window for Peter Pan in an Edwardian cotton nightgown, nighties loom large in popular culture. Visually signalling innocence, or perhaps a loss of it, there's something exposing about a nightdress and therefore also something liberating and pretty punk rock about wearing it outside. This is all to say: we think wearing nighties in the day is cool and you should try it. Emerging as one of summer 2025's hottest trends (thanks to designers like Chloé, smaller brands like If Only If ,and cool girls like Daisy Edgar Jones and Sabrina Carpenter), nighties are coming in all shapes and sizes. From slinky, silky slips to cotton voile smocks, there really is a nightie style for everyone. However, we know it can be a little tricky to know what shoes to pair them with, so here are six shoe styles that work and exactly what nightie to pair them with. Boat shoes are a key shoe trend of the season, but a little tricky to style. We've kept things very straightforward by pairing it with a black minidress from Dôen. Lean into feminine shapes and soft hues by pairing these sky blue Mary Janes with Chloé's boho midi dress. Jelly shoes add a girlish feel to any ensemble, that's why we've paired it with a more grown-up midi-length slip, to add some contrast. Take a leaf out of Dua Lipa's book and try some sneakerinas - these Puma Speedcats would pair well with If Only If's Heather dress and are perfect for a summer in the city. If you're looking for an office appropriate nightie combination, this is as good as it gets. Layer with an oversized shirt or cardigan for extra prim points. Can you think of a cuter combination? Take yourself on an adorable picnic or to the seaside in this ditsy print dress and bold fisherman sandals. This Chic Arket Skirt Is Dominating Fashion Right Now – And It's Worth the Hype

It wouldn't be an overstatement to say I harbour a dying love for skirts. My summer wardrobe is a steady mix of linen midis, denim midis, and tiered maxis, each of which is perfectly suited for those rare but glorious days when the British weather finally decides to cooperate. And, while temperatures tend to fluctuate in the lead-up to summer, I take comfort in knowing my wardrobe will be ready when July and August arrive, all thanks to my trusted line-up of skirts. Still, one midi skirt has recently managed to shake up my well-established line-up: Arket's Poplin Skirt, a piece so good, it's earned a permanent spot in my summer wardrobe. Combining structured tailoring with a light, summery feel, it's a versatile staple that works just as well in the office as it does on off-duty days. Crafted from cool, crisp cotton and finished with timeless blue-and-white vertical stripes, it's designed in a subtly voluminous A-line silhouette that flatters from every angle. With its airy shape and subtle Côte d'Azur charm, the Arket skirt captures two of the most crucial aspects of summer style - a relaxed fit (ideal for catching a breeze) and effortless polish. It's no surprise, then, that the style set has gravitated towards it at record speed. 1. Arket, Poplin Skirt But what makes this skirt a true essential for balmy-weather dressing goes beyond its French Riviera appeal. It's actually part of a set, designed to be paired with the equally chic Oversized Cotton Shirt, a timeless, preppy staple that proves year after year to be a must-have in every summer wardrobe. Featuring the same classic stripe pattern, the shirt combines a cool, oversized silhouette with a stylish cinched waist (very office-siren in my opinion), which is great news if you're not a fan of shirts that swallow you whole when buttoned up. Worn together, this tailored co-ord becomes the ultimate throw-on-and-go outfit formula, perfectly suited for everything from office hours to evening drinks. Like any two-piece set, the real style challenge lies in choosing the right footwear, and if you're looking to keep things chic, black ballet flats are a fail-safe choice. For those seeking a cooler, off-duty edge, sneakers are the way to go - with options ranging from Puma Speedcats to Adidas Sambas, which happen to be a favourite among celebrities, and Onitsuka Tigers. If you're planning to wear the skirt solo, pair it with a crisp white baby tee for an effortless errand run look, or channel boho-chic vibes with a white lace top reminiscent of the Chloé runway. As for the shirt? Wear buttoned up with a pair of crisp white jeans as per the fashion pack, or unbuttoned with a black vest top and wide-leg black trousers. Again, choose footwear accordingly. Shop the matching shirt below. 2. Arket, Oversized Cotton Shirt Pair the Arket Poplin Skirt with the matching cotton shirt for the ultimate summer ensemble. Wear on a trip to the med, for an evening out with friends, or for the office. Image credit: @ and @dianaritasilva _Emma Richardson is a fashion commerce writer for Grazia. The Zara Outfit Everyone's Been Wearing On Repeat - And Yes, It's Still in Stock

While there's no denying just how much fun it is to pick out and put together an outfit in the morning, there's something to be said for the easy breezy nature of a get-up-and-go outfit that eliminates at least one step in the process of getting ready. That's why, I will never stop waxing lyrical about co-ords - the ultimate style shortcut. This summer, high street champion Zara has provided an endless supply of perfect summer outfits, currently led by the knit bandeau top and combined knit skirt co-ord. With frilled detailing on top and layered fabrics at the bottom, this Zara two-piece strikes the perfect balance between contemporary and classic. It's the ultimate summer outfit, and after scrolling past it a few too many times on Instagram, I knew it was time to take the plunge. 1. Knit Bandeau Top - Ecru Shop the Zara bandeau as part of the set or individually. 2. Combined Knit Skirt - Ecru Pair with the matching knit skirt with combination material. Styling the co-ord is effortless; simply throw on the top and skirt, pick out your favourite pair of shoes, and you're good to go. With summer here and the encouragement to let our feet breathe, sandals are a great choice, but trainers will work just as well, whether you're after a pop of colour with Puma Speedcats - or embracing some of the season's biggest trends with a pair of Onitsuka Tigers in black and white. But just because it's a co-ord doesn't mean you have to wear it as one – getting the most out of one means styling each piece individually, too. Take the top, for instance, which pairs seamlessly with any trouser (might we suggest the COS relaxed twill Trouser) or a classic pair of denim jeans. Or, if you're keen to keep things breezy for warm summer days and stuffy tube commutes, swap in a swishy, ankle-grazing denim skirt for a floaty feel. Pick a pair of cool girl sunglasses that'll take your outfit from simple to chic in an instant, and if you're planning on wearing the two-piece during a trip to the Med, accompany it with a classic raffia tote Côte d'Azur style. Shop the two-piece now before it sells out, and if ecru isn't quite your colour, opt for the ballerina pink iteration, which we've featured below. But hurry - this co-ord will sell faster than you can say summer essentials. 3. Knit Bandeau - Pink Alternatively, opt for the pink version of the set, or again, buy the bandeau on its own. 4. Combined Knit Skirt - Pink For the full ensemble, pair with the pink combined skirt. Image credit: @kasalmen and @meg_legs Emma Richardson is a fashion commerce writer for Grazia.
