The Zara Outfit Everyone's Been Wearing On Repeat - And Yes, It's Still in Stock

Graziadaily04-06-2025
While there's no denying just how much fun it is to pick out and put together an outfit in the morning, there's something to be said for the easy breezy nature of a get-up-and-go outfit that eliminates at least one step in the process of getting ready. That's why, I will never stop waxing lyrical about co-ords - the ultimate style shortcut.
This summer, high street champion Zara has provided an endless supply of perfect summer outfits, currently led by the knit bandeau top and combined knit skirt co-ord. With frilled detailing on top and layered fabrics at the bottom, this Zara two-piece strikes the perfect balance between contemporary and classic. It's the ultimate summer outfit, and after scrolling past it a few too many times on Instagram, I knew it was time to take the plunge. 1.
Knit Bandeau Top - Ecru
Shop the Zara bandeau as part of the set or individually. 2.
Combined Knit Skirt - Ecru
Pair with the matching knit skirt with combination material.
Styling the co-ord is effortless; simply throw on the top and skirt, pick out your favourite pair of shoes, and you're good to go. With summer here and the encouragement to let our feet breathe, sandals are a great choice, but trainers will work just as well, whether you're after a pop of colour with Puma Speedcats - or embracing some of the season's biggest trends with a pair of Onitsuka Tigers in black and white.
But just because it's a co-ord doesn't mean you have to wear it as one – getting the most out of one means styling each piece individually, too. Take the top, for instance, which pairs seamlessly with any trouser (might we suggest the COS relaxed twill Trouser) or a classic pair of denim jeans. Or, if you're keen to keep things breezy for warm summer days and stuffy tube commutes, swap in a swishy, ankle-grazing denim skirt for a floaty feel. Pick a pair of cool girl sunglasses that'll take your outfit from simple to chic in an instant, and if you're planning on wearing the two-piece during a trip to the Med, accompany it with a classic raffia tote Côte d'Azur style.
Shop the two-piece now before it sells out, and if ecru isn't quite your colour, opt for the ballerina pink iteration, which we've featured below. But hurry - this co-ord will sell faster than you can say summer essentials. 3.
Knit Bandeau - Pink
Alternatively, opt for the pink version of the set, or again, buy the bandeau on its own. 4.
Combined Knit Skirt - Pink
For the full ensemble, pair with the pink combined skirt.

Co Down duo behind immersive dragon game hope their AI tech will help future pilot navigation

Emma (33) and Matthew (35) Eaton of Genysys Engine have developed an interactive video game, dubbed Become the Dragon Rider, which simulates what riding a dragon would feel like. The Co Down team-of-two are co-founders of an AI research company which employs the technology to 'protect the planet', with Emma picking up awards for related conservation tech work in the past. The game features a VR headset to visualise the experience and a saddle for users to detect the ups, downs and turns of the beast, with the final product set to feature speakers and fans for noise and wind. What makes the project unique is the AI programming of the dragon, who can decide to fly in a direction of its choosing and has wants or needs, which 'makes him almost like the real animal'. Genysys CEO Emma explained that what started out as a way to take immersive gaming to the next level quickly snowballed for the couple. 'We just thought immersive experiences weren't really immersive enough,' she said. 'It's a new way that humans can really bond with AI and have almost real living animals within the game to create unique immersive experiences. The aim of that really is to improve education and scientific research long-term.' One of these pathways includes a pilot-guiding system to aid navigation in unexpected circumstances or difficult conditions. Chief technology officer Matthew provides his expertise to this aspect, with his background as an aerospace engineer officer. 'When we look at flight logs and things like that, it's normally down to slight human misjudgements,' Emma explained. 'Your weight wasn't right, you didn't have enough stuff. So if you're up in a mountain and it's completely cloudy and your navigation system is dying, all you have is that little needle to try to direct you through the mountain. 'If that's broken, then you would have our system, hopefully in the future, that would step in. And it would use the visuals to pretty much guide pilots safely to the ground. 'So with the immersive experiences and the way that it can create its own scenario, you can create pretty much every single variation of what would happen in an aircraft. 'And because you have that variation, you can train models and datasets on that to actually make a system that would be available during the flight.' The game created by the pair will be showcased at tech shows and stakeholder events in the coming months, with several investors in NI's expansive aerospace and technology industry already showing interest. Several 'prominent' entertainment companies have also been reaching out to Genysys and use its model to develop other experiences, such as space travel or exploring the seas. Sites such as the Mourne Mountains, the Obel tower in Belfast and even local bars have all been added to the game to create 'a digital replica of NI'. The company is also working with businesses which want to add their premises to the game via sponsorships. 'All the houses are kind of default for privacy and protection, but the landmarks are all there,' Emma continued. 'So you can fly down to the local bar. You can't go in it just yet; I just hope soon you'll be able to. 'There are a lot of things you can actually do in terms of the sustainable tourism side. They were putting that gondola in [the Mournes] because they wanted people to be able to go up there for accessibility. [But this] is a new way for people to kind of see it without putting infrastructure into the current place.' Another aspect of the game is its reflection of real-time weather conditions and the time of day in NI. Emma explained: 'We use a whole bunch of things to connect it to the real world. If it's snowing outside, it's snowing in the game... It correlates the date, time and the weather and stuff like that.' Local legends and folklore from across the island have also been incorporated into to the experience: 'You can transport through the fairy tree if you want to nip down to Belfast but don't want to fly the whole way there. 'We've also added in the blue light of Slieve Binnian, so you fly over the moor and you might see the blue light...' A trial event will be held at Annalong Community Centre on November 29 for those who want to experience the game.

Live and Kicking's Emma Forbes now from surprise new career to health transformation

After bagging a job in the cooking slot on the BBC 's hit children's series Going Live!, Emma Forbes had secured her place on the nation's TV screens and in its heart. Finding fame on the popular show, presented by Phillip Schofield and Sarah Greene, she then went on to co-host the replacement Saturday morning kids' programme Live & Kicking for three years with John Barrowman and TV stalwart Andi Peters, who has just floored This Morning fans by revealing his real age. It was a huge hit thanks to its entertainment sections, big-name celebrity interviews and games the presenters joined in on. As well as her hosting talent, fresh-faced Emma was known for her beauty. She was represented by Storm Models - the agency which discovered supermodels Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. It comes after one huge TV star looks completely unrecognisable as she reveals latest facelift ITV makes major decision on I'm A Celebrity's future after talks with officials Richard Osman reveals axed Ant and Dec show was 'expensive car crash' In 1996 she was voted number 64 in FHM mag's 100 Sexiest Women poll. Famed for being well-groomed with lusciously thick locks, Emma became the face of shampoo brand Head & Shoulders. She followed in her mother - actress Nannette Newman's - footsteps when she hosted a revival of panel show What's My Line. Nannette had been a regular panelist on the 70s version. Emma also voiced Mummy Hippo in animated infant favourite, Peppa Pig. As well as her TV credits, Emma has worked extensively on radio. She co-hosted the Heart Breakfast Show alongside Jonathan Coleman and presented BBC Radio 2 shows with Mark Radcliffe and Alan Carr as well as having her own Sunday morning show. In 2018 the broadcaster and her banker husband Graham Clempson sold their £25 million home in Chelsea, London, and moved to New York. The couple, who married in 1987, have two children together, which is why Emma stepped away from her TV career. They are now grown up and have moved out of their parents' house in East Hampton. Emma previously spoke about the family's move to the US and said she'd always loved America. "We've always had a connection with it," she told Hello!. "I find it an exciting place to live, it ignites my feeling of anything is possible, and it felt right for part two of life with my two children, one on each coast, to be nearer them. So with my own family here that makes it feel like home, and we've created a life that works for us all here." These days Emma works alongside her fashion designer daughter Lily Clempson and is obsessed with improving her own lifestyle as well as that of others. On her Instagram page she describes herself as a, "trained holistic wellness & nutrition coach with a passion for cooking & healthy lifestyle". It's something she became personally invested in around 2011 as she noticed her body change and wanted to lose stubborn belly, back and bottom fat. She spent the next 18 months turning herself around with an exercise and diet programme. In 2013 when she was snapped looking incredible in a swimsuit on the beach in Barbados, she spoke about her new regime. Emma revealed she was following the 'clean and lean' advice of celebrity trainer James Duigan, whose clients included Elle Macpherson. "I've always been a healthy eater - I used to start the morning with a big bowl of muesli, and snack on bananas and crackers," she told the Mail."I didn't know what I was doing wrong, or why I was flabby. "James explained that my diet was actually too healthy. I was eating so much fruit and so many vegetables that I got hungry easily - and was tempted to reach for a muffin or some biscuits to stave off the hunger pangs." James told her to cut back on the sugary fruit and carbohydrates and eat more protein. Emma believes it reshaped her body and changed the way she ate forever. She also introduced an exercise programme, despite loathing it. "With the help of a personal trainer, I started a regime. My aim was to work my core muscles and tone my legs and arms. I'm very disciplined. I have three, one-hour sessions a week when I do everything from stomach crunches to weight lifting," she said. Speaking on the Lorraine show in 2019, she assured the public she hadn't ever had any tweakments or work done to maintain her youthful appearance: "There's no plastic surgery going on here! I'm not judgmental of people that do it, but I am that person that it would go horribly wrong on, so I'm too frightened and I just don't do it," she said. During the interview she also discussed how the menopause had affected her, saying it had made her worry irrationally. "It's caused terrible anxiety and a loss of confidence. And anxiety over ridiculous things," she said. She revealed that she was on body identical hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to help with her symptoms. Just after Covid, in 2021, Emma launched a lifestyle podcast, Life and Soul, in which she spoke to celebrities and professionals about how they coped with the pandemic and what they did to make themselves feel good. Guests included people she admired, such as cooking legend Prue Leith, former Loose Women host Andrea McClean and This Morning 's Dr Zoe Williams.

I'm a model, 75, who's never had Botox & has no interest in becoming a ‘humanoid'… I swear by a £2 Temu buy instead

A 75-YEAR-OLD model who's never had Botox has revealed the £2 Temu buy she swears by to stay looking young. Penelope Tree first made a name for herself in the 1960s, and has enjoyed a resurgence of success in recent years - walking the runway for Fendi and Richard Quinn and appearing in a star-studded ad campaign to mark Zara's 50th anniversary. 4 4 4 And while she used to be "obsessed" with her appearance when she was younger, she's now "more interested in what's going on" around her. She's also "not trying to prove anything" by undergoing cosmetic procedures to maintain a flawless facade. "You just have to accept the inevitability of ageing. I don't really see what's wrong with it!" she told the MailOnline. "And I don't like hospitals or the idea of being fiddled with in a surgical way. "Also, repeated plastic surgery does tend to make people look like replicants (bioengineered humanoids)." Instead, she prefers a more natural way of reducing the look of her wrinkles - anti-ageing face tapes. The adhesive tapes have threads attached, which can be pulled and secured discreetly around the head to make the face look more taut. And they won't set you back anywhere near as much as Botox either, as you can pick them up for just £2 on Temu. Other celebrities who use the tapes include Joan Collins and Bella Hadid. She's also a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream and Trinny London's The Elevator cream. I hated my wrinkled skin, so I spent £4k to have the top layer taken off, people can't believe I'm the same person "In my 20s my currency was my beauty," Penelope continued. "Now my currency is being alive, interested and curious. "I just leave it to the hairdressers and the make-up artists to make me look as good as I can, which isn't easy!" As for her fashion sense, Penelope loves "statement jewellery", which said makes older people "look fabulous". And she loves shopping at the "affordable and fabulous" Zara. "I wear an orange Zara suit every summer and it's the most complimented outfit I've ever worn in my life!" she admitted. How is celery juice an anti-ageing potion? Celery juice is packed with antioxidants like vitamin C and flavonoids, which combat free radicals that cause cellular damage and aging. Its high water content keeps your skin hydrated and plump, reducing the appearance of wrinkles. The anti-inflammatory compounds in celery, such as apigenin and luteolin, help reduce chronic inflammation linked to ageing. Rich in essential nutrients like vitamin K and potassium, celery juice supports overall skin health and body functions. Drinking celery juice regularly can complement a balanced diet and skincare routine, promoting a youthful glow from within. But while she's happy to save money on the majority of her wardrobe, there's one thing she'll always splash out on - and that's denim. "If there's one thing I have learnt as I have aged, it's to spend money on jeans," she said, adding that she's had the same pair for three years and insisting they're "good as new".
