CM asks Sri City team to actively support ‘P4'
Sri City: Sri City Chairman Srini Raju, and MD Dr Ravindra Sannareddy took part in a dinner hosted by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Undavalli on Friday. The gathering brought together distinguished leaders from industry and business sectors to discuss the P4 (Public-Private-People Partnership) initiative, which is designed to uplift underprivileged communities across the state. Following the meeting, Srini Raju, Sannareddy, Taizo Iwami (MD, IMOP), and Yuichi Tomita (Plant Head, Aisan Auto Parts) met the Chief Minister on behalf of the Sri City industrial community. The Chief Minister urged them to actively support the initiative and help uplift the underprivileged across the State. The delegation pledged Sri City's full backing for the P-4 programme, expressing confidence in its potential to drive inclusive and transformative development in Andhra Pradesh.

Manufacturing World Tokyo-Sri City tops
Sri City: Sri City took centre stage at 'Manufacturing World Tokyo 2025', showcasing its thriving industrial ecosystem to a global audience. The event, being held from July 9 to 11 at Makuhari Messe, Japan, is Asia's largest manufacturing trade show and is expected to attract over 75,000 industry professionals. Now in its 37th edition, the show, organised by RX Japan Ltd., features 10 specialised exhibitions spanning IT solutions, mechanical components, medical devices, additive manufacturing, cybersecurity and smart maintenance. Reinforcing its growing reputation as a preferred global destination for manufacturing, Sri City presented its robust capabilities, particularly in electronics, electricals, and automotive sectors. Notably, Sri City now stands as India's second-largest Japanese industrial township, reflecting its strong ties with Japan and its appeal to global investors. Sri City MD Dr Ravindra Sannareddy said that 'Manufacturing World Tokyo 2025' offers a tremendous opportunity to showcase Sri City's strategic advantages to a global audience and deepen our long-standing partnerships with Japanese industries. Sri City company exports massive liquid nitrogen storage tank to Qatar
VRV Asia Pacific Private Limited, a premier cryogenic equipment manufacturer based in Sri City and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chart Industries, U.S.A., has marked a major milestone with the export of a massive liquid nitrogen storage tank to Qatar-based Air Liquide. Air Liquide is a world-leading industrial gases and services company, known for providing high-performance solutions to industries including healthcare, energy and aerospace across 75 countries. Measuring 47 m in length, 6 m in diameter, and weighing 214 tonnes, the high-capacity cryogenic tank (735 kl) was dispatched to Krishnapatnam Port using a 192-wheeler multi-axle trailer. Going by the scale and precision involved in its transport and production, the delivery of the cryogenic tank reinforced VRV's global capability to meet the demanding specifications of the aerospace sector, observed Sri City managing director Ravindra Sannareddy, who called it an example of the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India' initiative. It may be recalled that VRV had played a crucial role during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic, with continued production and supply of medical grade liquid oxygen storage cylinders and tanks to address oxygen shortage crisis that had gripped the nation. VRV assisted Sri City in donating oxygen storage tanks to government hospitals in Tirupati and Nellore districts, including SVIMS, BIRRD and SVRR hospitals.

IAS trainees applaud Sri City's visionary development
Sri City: A team of seven IAS officer trainees from the 2024 batch visited Sri City as part of the AP Darshan programme on Saturday. The young officers were deeply impressed by the city's meticulous planning, world-class infrastructure, and emphasis on sustainable growth. Welcoming the delegation, senior Vice-President (Marketing) R Shivasankar presented a comprehensive overview of Sri City's sustainability-driven growth model. He underscored Sri City's pivotal role in the Make-in-India mission, its contribution to job creation, and its impact on regional development. The officers were visibly impressed, describing Sri City as a 'marvel of planning and execution'. Pontiff of Sode Vadiraja Mutt inaugurates sacred vanas in Sri City
Tirupati: Pontiff of Sri Sode Vadiraja Mutt in Udupi Vishwavallabha Theertha Swami paid a spiritual visit to Sri City on Friday and inaugurated several vanas in its vicinity. He was given an overview of Sri City's vision, development through a detailed presentation by its MD Dr Ravindra Sannareddy. Swamiji had an interactive session with CXOs and senior executives of various resident industries. Addressing the gathering, he remarked that wherever sincere human effort is present, success is inevitable. He noted that Sri City is evidently blessed by the Divine, which is why it is flourishing into a world-class hub known for outstanding products. He also visited Prasanna Venkateswara Temple located near the Sri City Nursery in Aruru where he offered prayers and presided over the inauguration of three spiritually significant green spaces, Nakshatra Vanam, Rasi Vanam, and Navagraha Vanam. Emphasising the deeper meaning of these sacred groves, Swamiji highlighted their role in fostering environmental awareness and reviving the ancient Indian tradition of aligning nature with spirituality.
