Responsive launches Agent Studio to automate RFP processes
Responsive has announced the launch of Agent Studio, a no-code platform that enables enterprise sales and proposal teams to create custom AI agents for managing compliance, risk assessments, content management, and other tasks involved in the RFP process. This new offering allows users, including those at large organisations such as SAP, to automate critical review processes and surface key insights across substantial volumes of business opportunities. The introduction comes as Responsive reports having managed over USD $750 billion in opportunities through its platform to date. Agent Studio is designed as a no-code environment for users to build AI agents capable of handling tasks such as content clean-up, compliance reviews, archiving, tagging, and identifying outdated information. Teams can schedule agents, trigger them on demand, and monitor their operations, ensuring clear governance and complete audit trails. Responsive will also provide Professional Services support to assist customers with their requirements when building custom agents. Jamie Ninneman, Global Head of RFx Advisory at SAP, said: "The future lies in democratizing access to institutional knowledge—and AI is central to that shift. Responsive has been a valuable leader in this journey, helping companies scale how they respond, collaborate, and accelerate their transformation with Strategic Response Management." According to AJ Sunder, Chief Product and Information Officer at Responsive: "Custom AI agents are the next productivity revolution—and with Agent Studio, any team can build them without heavy development or deep technical expertise. Sales and proposal teams can now build agents tailored to their specific needs. As customers apply these agents to real business problems, we gain early insight into the next wave of high-impact AI use cases that will shape the future of work." Agent Studio is introduced alongside two new AI agents: Analysis Agent and Answering Agent. The Analysis Agent has been integrated into Responsive's conversational interface, Ask, to review RFPs, RFIs and related documents. It extracts critical requirements and surfaces potential risks, providing sales teams with concise assessments to enable faster and better-informed go/no-go decisions. The Answering Agent, also available in Slack and within Ask, drafts responses for RFPs, questionnaires, and ad hoc questions, drawing from vetted organisational content while providing appropriate citations. This is intended to support teams in developing high-quality responses more efficiently, based on trusted internal knowledge. In addition to enhancing agent capabilities, Responsive is introducing Guided Projects, a self-serve AI tool designed to empower field teams to respond to RFPs and assessments without always relying on central proposal or bid teams. Guided Projects extracts key requirements, drafts responses, performs compliance checks, and enables teams such as sales, customer success, and solution consulting to independently manage complex responses. Alexis Hourselt, Interim Director, Proposal Center of Excellence at Microsoft, commented on the company's collaboration with Responsive: "At Microsoft, empowering our field teams with greater self-service capabilities is central to our strategy. As an early partner of Responsive, we're collaborating to innovate on solutions like Guided Projects that enable our teams to operate more independently and effectively." To address ongoing challenges regarding quality and accuracy in AI-generated responses, Responsive has introduced TRACE Score, an industry-first content scoring system that objectively assesses responses. In parallel, the Quality Check tool provides automated auditing for content review and validation. These features aim to mitigate risk and ensure that responses produced by AI agents meet required standards for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Responsive's leadership in Strategic Response Management is also highlighted by recognition from industry bodies and research organisations, including being named a "Leader" in the Aragon Research "Globe for Strategic Response Management, 2025" and ranking #1 in global RFP software on G2 for 25 consecutive quarters. Its TRACE Score was also cited among the top AI-enabled products for go-to-market strategies by SilconANGLE Media in their 2025 Tech Innovation CUBEd Awards. These developments continue Responsive's focus on enabling enterprise customers to manage and share operational knowledge at scale, respond to business requests efficiently, and maintain consistency and quality in their strategic responses across global teams.

AI adoption in B2B drives revenue growth & boosts hiring
A new research report has found that top-performing B2B companies are increasing both investment in artificial intelligence and hiring new staff, challenging concerns about AI-driven job losses in the sector. Responsive, in partnership with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, has released its 2025 State of Strategic Response Management Report, which surveyed 726 global revenue leaders and practitioners to gauge how AI is reshaping revenue operations and roles. The report identifies a growing divergence between high-performing organisations - described as "Leaders" with over 25% year-on-year revenue growth - and their lower-performing counterparts, referred to as "Novices." Leaders are found to be six times more likely to have deployed AI agents across revenue functions and more than twice as likely to use AI for both decision-making and workflow optimisation compared to Novices. More than half of the surveyed companies that have adopted AI report increasing headcount, while only 27% of companies not using AI say the same. This contrasts with the narrative that AI adoption may replace jobs across the industry. Ganesh Shankar, Chief Executive Officer at Responsive, said, "The 2025 Strategic Response Management Report makes it clear: AI isn't just a tool; it's both a force multiplier and a catalyst for transforming how organisations compete and win. When strategic response teams are empowered with AI, they gain sharper insights, faster decision-making, and greater agility. The most successful organisations are those investing in this synergy, amplifying human expertise with AI to democratise knowledge, unlock higher win rates and accelerate revenue growth." The findings highlight that high-growth companies are combining investments in technology with hiring. Of the Leaders identified in the study, 77% report investing in technology and 69% in staffing, suggesting a balanced approach between AI and human resources. By contrast, Novices are less than half as likely to be increasing their staff numbers. The report also outlines how B2B buyers are expecting more from sellers than previously, with more than three-quarters of organisations noting that buyers now have tighter budgets, demand faster response times, and require greater personalisation. This has heightened the requirements for speed, customisation, and accuracy in sales and revenue operations. Toby Carrington, Chief Business Officer at Seismic, commented on the organisational changes brought by AI: "AI is fundamentally reshaping how revenue teams operate, allowing us to think more strategically, collaborate better across functions, and focus on high-value work. At Seismic, we're embedding AI into everything we do, not just to automate tasks, but to enable smarter decisions and better outcomes. The companies that move quickly on AI, and use it to elevate both their people and processes, will be the ones that gain a true competitive edge." According to the research, AI usage is becoming a clear differentiator between companies experiencing significant growth and those that are stagnant. Leaders are more than twice as likely as Novices to use AI for orchestrating workflows and assignments (41% compared to 17%), analysing win/loss data (37% compared to 18%), and making go/no-go decisions (37% compared to 26%). The report finds that over half (54%) of organisations are either testing or have fully integrated AI into their strategic response management workflows, such as requests for proposals (RFPs), security questionnaires, and due diligence documents. Adoption rates are higher in particular sectors, with 72% of large enterprises, 67% of companies dealing with more than 10 RFPs each month, and 64% of technology firms trialling or deploying AI within these processes. Revenue growth linked to strategic responses has also been observed, with 62% of surveyed companies reporting year-on-year increases. Leaders stand out as being six times more likely to have fully deployed AI agents and three times more likely to use AI across all revenue functions. Despite these trends, a portion of the market remains cautious, with more than 10% of all organisations and up to 36% of smaller companies stating they are not using AI agents and have no intention to implement them within the next year. Julia Duke, Chief Operating Officer at the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, said, "As the bid and proposal profession evolves, understanding the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping our work is more important than ever. This survey provides meaningful insights into the strategies and practices that are helping teams succeed today. APMP is proud to support research that advances the knowledge and growth of bid and proposal management professionals globally."

Space Force picks Firefly to launch Victus Sol rapid response mission
The Space Force last week awarded Firefly Aerospace a nearly $22 million contract to launch a mission aimed at transitioning the service's vision for rapid response capabilities from a demonstration to operations. The mission, dubbed Victus Sol, will be the fifth Tactically Responsive Space mission for the service since September of 2023 when it worked with satellite and rocket companies to deliver a spacecraft in a matter of months and launch it with just 27 hours of notice. To date, those activities have all been geared toward demonstrating the concept, but a spokesperson for Space Safari, which manages the missions, told Defense News on Friday that Victus Sol is 'moving beyond demonstrations' and will support Space Force operations. The spokesperson would not confirm any details about the mission, including its payload, objective or launch date. However, fiscal 2025 budget documents say the mission could launch in late 2025 or 2026, and the service has indicated that 2026 is its target for flying operational Tactically Responsive Space missions. The Space Force defines Tactically Responsive Space as the ability to react quickly to the threats that come from operating in an increasingly congested and adversarial space environment. That could mean launching satellites on short notice, maneuvering a prepositioned, spare spacecraft to augment a degraded system or buying data from a commercial partner during a crisis. Firefly, which launched the Space Force's first Tactically Responsive Space mission, said its Alpha rocket will be on standby for Victus Sol. As with other responsive missions, the Space Force will give Firefly a notice to prepare the vehicle for payload integration and launch. 'Firefly has ramped up our Alpha production line to meet that demand and provide flexibility to support the Space Force's urgent needs that keep us ahead of the game,' Firefly CEO Jason Kim said in a statement on Friday. Space Safari is slated to launch Victus Haze, its next Tactically Responsive Space mission, later this year. That mission will feature two launch vehicles: Firefly's Alpha and Rocket Lab's Electron. Firefly will carry payloads from True Anomaly and Rocket Lab will carry its own satellites. As part of Victus Haze, the satellites will be required to maneuver from a threat in space. The Space Force and U.S. Space Command have identified a growing need for satellites to be able to maneuver away from threats like debris or toward objects the U.S. may want to observe more closely.
