Where to watch Texas A&M baseball vs Georgia channel, time, streaming info Texas A&M (27-23, 10-17 SEC) will be on the road for their last SEC series of the regular season against No. 10 Georgia (40-13, 16-11 SEC) at Foley Field in Athens, Ga. It's been a tough stretch for first-year Texas A&M head coach Michael Earley. Just when his team seemed to find momentum, they suffered a costly sweep against the SEC's weakest team. With postseason hopes fading, the Aggies must now sweep Georgia and make a deep SEC Tournament run to keep their NCAA Regional chances alive. Texas A&M leads the all-time series against Georgia 15-8, going 6-4 in their last 10 matchups. Their most recent meeting ended in a dominant 19-9 run-rule victory. Texas A&M will now host No. 2 LSU in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon

Texas A&M will now host No. 2 LSU in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon Texas A&M (25-19, 8-12 SEC) was supposed to host No. 2 LSU starting on Friday night, but due to inclement rainy weather in College Station, which worsened in the afternoon, the Aggies and Tigers will now face off in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, which, as we all remember, ended in the Aggies favor against No. 1 Tennessee, which began the Aggies' impressive winning streak. On paper, Texas A&M needs five more conference wins to make it back to the NCAA Tournament, while the Tigers are safely in the postseason with nearly 40 wins on the year. However, as we know, regular season wins are important for tournament seeding, and the Aggies have as good a chance as anyone to make a postseason run. In terms of rest, Texas A&M starting pitcher Ryan Prager should be ready to start the first game tomorrow, followed by Game 2 starter Justin Lamkin, who will take the mound just a couple of months after Game 1 on Saturday afternoon. The Aggies aren't favored, even at home, but after defeating the No. 2-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks on the road, rankings don't mean much for coach Michael Earley's team this season. LSU is one of the more complete teams in the country, so taking two, or three games will be a tall task. Texas A&M will host No. 2 LSU in a Saturday doubleheader, starting with Game 1 at 2:00 p.m. CT, while Game 2 will start one hour after the conclusion of Game 1. Both games will stream on SEC Network+. Contact/Follow us @AggiesWire on X (formerly Twitter) and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of Texas A&M news, notes and opinions. Texas A&M drops Game 1 in the Lone Star Showdown after falling 2-1 to No. 1 Texas

Texas A&M drops Game 1 in the Lone Star Showdown after falling 2-1 to No. 1 Texas The Texas A&M (24-17, 8-11 SEC) falls in game one of the Cotton Holding Lone Star Showdown, losing 2-1 to No. 1 Texas (35-5, 17-2 SEC) on the road in Austin. It was a game dominated by pitching, with both teams struggling to generate offense until the later innings. Aggie starter Ryan Prager delivered one of his strongest performances in recent memory, holding the opposition scoreless through 5.2 innings. However, the Aggies' offense faltered, reverting to old habits of chasing pitches outside the zone. The clutch hitting that had been a hallmark of their recent success was notably absent. The matchup may have played a role, as the Aggies have historically struggled against left-handed pitchers, a trend that continued tonight. Ben Royo was the lone bright spot, going a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate. Unfortunately, the rest of the lineup was plagued by weak groundouts and double plays. Even when they made solid contact, the balls fell short of clearing the fence, resulting in easy outs. Their sole run came in an unusual fashion, a towering infield single by Wyatt Henseler that was misplayed by the first baseman, allowing Royo to score. It was a tough night for the Aggies, but performances like Prager's and Royo's offer some positives to build on. The Aggies will get a chance to even up the series on Saturday evening when they the Longhorns in Game 2 at 3:00 p.m. CT.
