How to watch the 2025 MLB Draft today
This past season didn't go as the Aggies hoped under first-year head coach Michael Earley. Despite a stronger second half, it was too little, too late. Losing the series to the winless Missouri Tigers sealed their fate.
As expected, a few key players—LaViolette, Justin Lamkin, and Kaeden Kent—all ranked in ESPN's Top 250 MLB prospects, are likely headed to the draft. But it's not just current players whose futures are uncertain. Five incoming freshmen and transfer Maddox Latta also have MLB interest.
Coach Earley enters year two needing significant help and, like the rest of us, will have to wait to see how his roster shapes up in the coming weeks.
Here's how to watch the 2025 MLB Draft unfold day-by-day:

Nolan Arenado headed to Florida to begin rehab assignment
Nolan Arenado headed to Florida to begin rehab assignment originally appeared on The Sporting News John Denton of offered an update earlier today on Cardinals star third baseman Nolan Arenado, who was placed on the 10-day injured list last Friday with a right shoulder strain. '#STLCards third baseman Nolan Arenado will report to Jupiter, Fla., on Friday to begin a rehab assignment, manager Oliver Marmol said,' wrote Denton on X. 'The club's thinking is that after his shoulder strengthens, he could soon appear in games there.' Jupiter is home to St. Louis' Single-A affiliate—the Palm Beach Cardinals. It's there that Arenado will begin working his way back to the Majors, where he's slashing .235/.294/.366 with 10 home runs and 41 RBI in 96 games this season. The Cardinals (57-58) are currently fighting for the last NL Wild Card spot, sitting 6.0 games behind the Mets after New York fell 4-1 to the Cleveland Guardians earlier today. St. Louis looks to earn its first series victory since July 8-10 against the Washington Nationals (2-1) with a win over the Los Angeles Dodgers today. Shohei Ohtani returned to the mound after an injury scare last week, opposing St. Louis lefty Matthew Liberatore. Despite a career-low .235 batting average, Arenado would surely provide a boost to a middling Cardinals team thanks to his prowess at third base, where he holds 10 Gold Glove Awards. He has a .266/.323/.456 slash line in 697 games since joining St. Louis in 2021, when he was traded by the Colorado Rockies after spending the first eight seasons of his career there (2013-2020).
